Shearer's eldest daughter Chloe, 31, is in a relationship with former rugby player Micky Young and he made journey to London too after watching Newcastle beat Ipswich 3-0 on Saturday. Young was meant to hop on the 17:59 train but ended up making a huge error. Shearer told the Rest Is Football Podcast: "He got to the station five minutes early, he got on the train and then he heard the announcement, 'Welcome to everyone heading to Edinburgh'.
