San Beda sweeps EAC to stay in Final Four race

San Beda University swept Emilio Aguinaldo College, 25-16, 26-24, 25-21, on Saturday in the NCAA Season 100 men's volleyball tournament at the San Andres Gym in Manila.
With the win, the Red Spikers improved to 10-7 and remained in the hunt for a spot in the Final Four.
Dominic Castañeda had 21 out of San Beda's 22 excellent sets as three spikers scored in double digits for the Mendiola-based squad.
Ralph Cabalsa led San Beda with 15 points from 12 attacks, two blocks, and an ace, while Anrie Bakil had 12 points built on eight attacks, three blocks, and an ace. Axel Van Book added 12 points to go with six digs.
Frelwin Taculog, meanwhile, led the Generals with 17 points as the already-ran EAC slipped to 5-12.
San Beda will face defending champion University of Perpetual Help System DALTA next on Wednesday, while EAC will try to end its season on a high note against San Sebastian College-Recoletos on Tuesday.
