Mercedes-Benz India to hike prices from June 1 by up to ₹12.2 lakh

Mercedes-Benz has announced it will be increasing prices across its lineup by up to 1.5 per cent. The company will be increasing prices in a two-stage process with the first hike to come into effect from June 1, and the second on September 1, 2025. The two-stage price revision aims to soften the impact on customers and offer a more flexible purchase option. The price hike will range between ₹90,000 and ₹12.2 lakh, the company confirmed. The price hike will range between ₹ 90,000 and ₹ 12.2 lakh with a part of it applicable from June 1, and the rest from September 1, 2025. Mercedes-Benz India aims to soften the impact on customers with the two-stage price revision. Mercedes-Benz says that it is only passing a marginal portion of the cost increase to customers. The C-Class gets the lowest price hike at ₹90,000 and will now start from ₹60.3 lakh. On other hand, the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class gets a maximum price hike of ₹12.2 lakh, and is now priced at ₹3.60 crore. All prices are ex-showroom. You can check out the modelwise price increment below. The automaker said the price revision has been triggered by a steep hike in forex rates since January this year. This has severely impacted the cost structure of components and products, especially the fully imported models. Why have a two-stage price revision? Explaining the need for a two-stage price revision, Mercedes said the same will help customers to plan their purchases and opt for finance schemes that better suit their requirements. The automaker claims for models like the GLC and GLC SUVs, the EMI difference will be less than ₹2,000 after the price hike. Under Mercedes-Benz Financial Services, the automaker offers a host of flexible payment options including lower interest rates, reduced EMIs, partial ownership, and more. Tired of ordinary luxury? Dubai's Wheely now has on-demand Maybach rides

Life by Aminath Ifasa 33 seconds ago In a city where luxury is measured in exclusivity, Wheely has just raised the bar. The Swiss-British chauffeur service has unveiled W heely Luxe , its most refined tier yet, granting members in Dubai something unprecedented – the ability to summon a Mercedes-Maybach S-Class at will. Until now, the Maybach, synonymous with uncompromising elegance, was reserved for private ownership or bespoke bookings. Wheely changes that, becoming the only platform to offer it on-demand, transforming even the shortest commute into a statement of discernment. The experience is designed for those who consider travel an art form. The experience goes beyond the Maybach's known comfort. With Wheely, t he cabin, a cocoon of hand-stitched leather and polished wood, is subtly scented with Aqua di Parma. Each ride comes with chilled FIJI water and San Pellegrino sparkling water, kept cool in built-in refrigerators, while Colonia-scented hand cream and plush cleansing towels complete the sensory experience. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Wheely (@wheely) 'These aren't just amenities – they're essential touches for those who appreciate true refinement,' says Omar Maatouk, Wheely's Middle East General Manager. The service also includes practical luxuries like USB-C and Lightning chargers, plus folding tables for on-the-go productivity. 'This isn't just about transport. It's about delivering a new standard of private travel, where every element is considered', says Maatouk. The launch follows Wheely's recent introduction of an SUV class for business travelers, but Wheely Luxe is a different proposition. This one is aimed at those for whom luxury is not just a preference but a prerequisite. The membership remains tightly curated, ensuring that access feels as exclusive as the experience itself. Wheely's tiered services include Luxe (Maybach S-Class), Business SUV (GMC Yukon), New Business (BMW 5 Series), First (Mercedes S-Class), and XL (Mercedes V-Class), along with airport pickups and Chauffeur for a Day for members. Their exclusive Membership program rewards frequent travelers with global access to premium services, available after 15 journeys or by invitation. In a market saturated with superlatives, Wheely has found a way to make luxury feel personal again. And for Dubai's most discerning travelers, the Maybach is now just a tap away. Bugatti Tourbillon's $240K Exhaust Package Costs More Than a Whole Maybach

Read the full story on Modern Car Collector Bugatti's yet-to-be-unveiled Tourbillon hypercar is already making waves, with leaked renderings showcasing an ultra-exclusive option that costs more than a Mercedes-Maybach S-Class. Dubbed the Equipe Pur Sang package, this $240,000 add-on enhances the Tourbillon's design while solidifying its place as one of the most extravagant hypercars ever built. For those willing to spend beyond the car's estimated $4 million base price, the Equipe Pur Sang package brings several distinctive styling upgrades. The front bumper receives a redesign, while the air intakes and diffuser feature a restyled look with new body-colored fins. The most striking addition, however, is the hypercar's radical eight-pipe exhaust system—four on each side—setting a record for the most exhaust outlets ever fitted to a production vehicle. Bugatti enthusiasts will also notice exclusive Equipe Pur Sang badging, prominently displayed on the headrests, dashboard, and exterior, including the horseshoe grille and the rear customizable wing. The hypercar shown in leaked configurator images sports a Matt Vermillion finish with exposed Matt Red carbon fiber, as well as newly developed Aeorlithe upholstery with contrasting stitching. While the package focuses on aesthetics rather than performance, the Tourbillon remains a technological marvel. The hypercar is expected to feature an 8.3-liter naturally aspirated V16 developed with Cosworth, supplemented by two rear-mounted electric motors. The hybrid setup is projected to deliver a staggering 1,755 horsepower, enabling a 0-60 mph sprint in approximately 1.9 seconds, a quarter-mile time of 8.8 seconds, and a top speed of 236 mph.
