She adds, "Every small step we take makes a big difference. We need to save the environment because it's the foundation of life on Earth, providing essential resources like air, water and food. However, human activities are degrading the environment at an alarming rate, threatening our very existence." Sheetal says that even simple actions can make a significant difference. "For instance, ditching plastic bottles and opting for reusable ones can reduce plastic waste and pollution. Similarly, using public transport, carpooling, or cycling can decrease air pollution and carbon emissions ," she says. Sheetal, who has worked in shows like Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Barsatein – Mausam Pyaar Ka, Suhaagan, Deewaniyat says, "Reducing meat consumption, using energy-efficient appliances, and recycling can also contribute to environmental conservation. By incorporating these habits into our daily lives, we can collectively mitigate the damage and work towards a more sustainable future." Shifting the onus on human beings to understand the issue, she says, "People fail to understand that our body's internal environment is as important as is the external. So I truly believe that meditation and being with oneself for at least 10 mins a day can make us better thinkers and it will only contribute to the outer world."

Opening up about her connection with the cast, Prisha shared, 'I bond with everyone very naturally, to be honest—touch wood. Whether it's my onscreen family or Rishank, who is my co-actor Karan Vohra, I gel with him very naturally.' Although there's an age gap between them, Prisha shared that the bond she has with Karan is truly special. 'I don't even know where it comes from, especially considering we're not from the same age group, but still, there's something very special in the connection. I see a good friend and strong support system in him,' she added. Karan, according to Prisha, has become something of a mentor and guide. 'There are times when I sit with him during our breaks, and we talk about so many things. He shares a lot about the industry, how things work, and how to handle different situations on set. He's just amazing.' While Karan may be a pillar of support, Prisha's warmth extends to the rest of the cast too. 'I also bond really well with my on-screen mother, father, sister, and, of course, Hiten Sir. These are the people I mostly spend time with on set, and I always feel very charged up and positive when I'm around them.' Still, she admits that her deepest connection is with Karan due to the amount of screen time they share. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now 'So honestly, I can't name just one person. But since Karan is my co-actor and someone I spend a lot of screen time with, I feel I can really rely on him. He fits in perfectly, and we share a great comfort level. So please don't give me a diplomatic tag (haha), but it's true that I genuinely have a very good relationship with most of my co-actors. They are all such good energy-givers, and I love them all equally,' she laughed. For Prisha, these relationships are more than just off-screen camaraderie—they deeply influence her performance. 'My bond with everyone on set has grown stronger over time, especially because of the kind of response they gave to my performance and the valuable inputs they shared. It really helped me tap into my character better,' she reflected. One of the most impactful experiences for her has been performing with senior actor Iqbal Khan, who plays her father in the show. 'Whenever I do my scenes with Iqbal Sir, it feels so real. He's such a natural actor that it honestly feels like I'm talking to my real father. That kind of energy and passion from a co-actor makes all the difference.' As a debutante, Prisha approaches her work with humility and curiosity. 'Since this is my debut show, I'm here mainly to absorb and learn as much as I can. I'm like that little kid who would sit next to a senior actor just to listen to them talk and learn from their experience. Be it Kruttika Ma'am, Hiten Tejwani Sir, or Disha Ma'am — I enjoy learning from them all.' Summing up her experience so far, she said, 'I have a lot of respect for each and every person working around me, both as artists and individuals. I keep learning from them every day, and I always try to incorporate those learnings into my work.' With her grounded mindset and emotional intelligence, Prisha Dhatwalia is not just embracing fame—she's building a career rooted in connection, gratitude, and passion.

In the current unpredictable entertainment industry, everyone wants to explore alternate sources of income. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now Sheetal began this journey during the COVID-19 lockdown, thanks to a nudge from her mother-in-law. Sheetal recalls, 'My daughter was very young at that time, and I wasn't working much then. There weren't many shows that were being shot. So my mother-in-law suggested I keep myself busy and start something of my own. That's when I thought of this idea, and she even connected me with people in Calcutta who helped me with materials and designs. She really encouraged me to do this.' The actress further adds, 'Being a woman, I've always loved jewellery. But I could never find exactly what I wanted to wear, so I thought — why not design it myself?' she says. 'I learned how to make jewellery from the internet. With a little creativity and some guidance, I figured it out. Once I started wearing them, my friends began asking for pieces too.' A passion turned into a business for the actress. She shares, 'Orders started coming in, and I earned a good amount. Though acting takes most of my time now, I still get a lot of orders. It's not just craft, it's an emotion. It reflects your personality. When you wear something you made, it feels special.'

Prachi Kowli on breaking stereotypes with Meri Bhavya Life: The show brings body shaming into the spotlight with sensitivity and realism

Actress Prachi Kowli is winning hearts as Uma in Meri Bhavya Life, and she couldn't be more grateful. Known for her commanding screen presence in stronger roles, Prachi's portrayal of a softer, emotionally complex mother has opened a new chapter in her career—one that is both creatively challenging and deeply fulfilling. 'I've been deeply touched by the heartfelt and encouraging feedback—not just from friends and family, but also from complete strangers who have reached out after watching the show,' says Prachi. 'It's the first time I'm playing such a grounded, subtle character, and it demanded a different emotional rhythm. It was tough but incredibly rewarding.' Uma, a housewife who quietly stands as an emotional anchor for her daughter Bhavya, may appear submissive on the surface, but her journey is layered with strength, quiet rebellion, and love. 'This character made me grow as an actor. Expressing strength through softness has been eye-opening. It's a kind of resilience that's often underrepresented, and I'm honored to bring it to life,' she says. Talking about her character, she says, 'My character adds a unique dimension to the narrative of a housewife who is submissive at the same time someone who challenges stereotypes and evolves emotionally alongside Bhavya and tries her level best to stand by her daughter. Through subtle shifts and interactions, the character contributes to highlighting the themes of acceptance, resilience, and self-worth.' Sharing future insights into the show, she says, 'Without giving too much away, viewers can expect more depth and transformation. There are emotional turning points ahead that will challenge my character's perspectives and strengthen their connection with Bhavya. The journey is far from over, and there's a lot more to uncover.' Not only entertainment, the show is progressively addressing social issues such as body shaming, she says. 'The show brings body shaming into the spotlight with sensitivity and realism. It doesn't preach but instead portrays the lived experiences of those who face this prejudice. By showing Bhavya's strength and the reactions of those around her, it opens space for viewers to reflect, empathize, and question societal norms,' she says. She adds, 'Unfortunately, women are often judged more harshly based on appearance. There's a social pressure to meet unrealistic beauty standards, and it affects self-esteem and opportunities. While body shaming affects everyone, women tend to bear a heavier burden especially in matters like marriage. The show is powerful in highlighting this imbalance and urging a much-needed change in mindset.'
