Charity turns to Vanessa as another devastating ordeal is confirmed in Emmerdale
Yes we see you, Vanity fans (Picture: ITV) Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) is the person Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) turns to in Emmerdale soon, as she faces a scary ordeal in the middle of her surrogacy journey. Shortly after Charity decided to try and become Sarah Sugden's (Katie Hill) surrogate, she decided not to tell Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb). Of course, it wasn't long until he found out, and wasted no time in telling Charity that he thought it was a bad idea. With really no one else to talk to, Charity chatted to Vanessa about it. Despite them being exes, Charity and Vanessa are really good friends. Vanessa was able to listen to Charity, while thinking of Mack's feelings too. Mackenzie then told Charity that he's decided to support her on the journey, which left her relieved. When he arrived at Butlers though, it became apparent that Mack had just changed his view because he believes the process wouldn't be successful anyways. Mack didn't think the surrogacy was a good idea (Picture: ITV) Charity's jumped over quite a few hurdles so far – but is disaster set to strike already? In upcoming episodes, the couple go for a walk, but Charity takes a tumble and falls to the ground. At Jacob's (Joe-Warren Plant), Charity convinces herself that everything will be fine, and fails to tell Sarah about the fall. Feeling smothered by Sarah and Jacob, Charity suggests an engagement party, hoping they will focus on something else for a little while. Charity has already made quite a bit of progress in the journey (Picture: ITV) Follow Metro Soaps on WhatsApp and get all the latest spoilers first! Charity overwhelmed in Emmerdale surrogacy story as she makes revelation to Mack
A difficult road (Picture: ITV) Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) offered to be Sarah Sugden's (Katie Hill) surrogate when she thought there were no other options, but that selfless offer may be coming back to bite her in Emmerdale. When Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) originally dropped the idea of surrogacy in Sarah's lap Charity was livid – that he would get her hopes up with something that was never going to be viable. Dr Liam (Jonny McPherson) confirmed as much when he told Cain that no agency would touch her with a barge pole given her life expectancy, among other things. Cain then got himself scammed by an agency who took his money and ran, leaving everyone desperate, distraught, and back to square one. So, Charity stepped up. Charity failed to tell Mack about the plan (Picture: ITV) Cain feared it wouldn't work (Picture: ITV) She chose not to share this monumental decision with husband Mack (Lawrence Robb), however, and instead he found out from busybody Pollard (Chris Chittell), and when he learned that his wife planned to carry her great grandchild, he had a few things to say about it. But as things stand, it's full steam ahead with Sarah giddy with excitement over this new plan. She and Charity get prepared for their hospital visit while Mack busies himself with work to try and forget. When he bumps into best pal Aaron (Danny Miller) and confesses he won't be going to the hospital, Aaron tries to get him to have a rethink. Mack takes his advice and rushes to the clinic, where Charity tells him all went well. Mack is desperate to tell her how he really feels, but he just can't find the words. If he's not careful, it'll soon be too late. Before he can, Charity reveals something of her own – Sarah and Jacob's attentiveness has left her feeling completely overwhelmed, and it's only a sign of things to come. When she gets Mack alone, she confesses her true feelings, and it's a great opportunity for him to do the same. But will he? Annoyed Coronation Street fans all have the same complaint over killer new story
Coronation Street fans have taken to social media to express their thoughts on a new storyline development. It was confirmed last night that Mick Michaelis (Joe Layton) will escape prison next week and go in search of his children Brody (Ryan Mulvey), Joanie and Shanice. Mick was put behind bars earlier this year after he murdered Craig Tinker (Colson Smith). The crazed character attacked Craig with a cricket bat after learning that Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) is actually Brody's biological father. In an episode that airs at the start of next week, Mick will leave prison and make his way to Weatherfield High, searching for Joanie. He then learns she isn't there, as Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) has taken her out of school. To keep Joanie occupied, Sally decides to take her for a tour at Underworld. Mick changes his route and heads for the cobbles instead. He is closely followed by Kit though, who is determined to prevent Mick from putting other residents in danger. The trailer released last night certainly looks exciting and packed full of drama, but fans of the ITV soap have unfortunately reacted with negativity. Over on our Metro Soaps Facebook page, plenty of readers have called the plot 'ridiculous' and argued it's 'more doom and gloom'. Reader Stephen Price said 'Change the record', while Karen James said that the show is 'getting dark to watch'. On social media platform X, the same view is noted. Audience members have also pointed out that Mick's escape plan comes just months after Rob Donovan (Marc Bayliss) did the exact same thing. 'How can Rob AND Mick escape from the same prison only months apart?', this user of X wrote. More Trending Echoing the opinion, this audience member said: 'Oh come on. That's the second character to break out of prison this year. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? Who's leaving Coronation Street? The latest gossip from Emmerdale?
