The following road work has been scheduled for the week beginning June 16: Ditch cleaning on Old State Road, Old Route 17, Conklin Forks Road, Broome CountyAirport Road & Tracey Creek Road Grader patching on Trim Street Guide rail repairs on Old Route 17, Oquaga Lake Road, Fox Farm Road & Pierce CreekRoad Milling on Glenwood Road – County Route 113 (from Prospect Street to Linda Drive) Culvert work on West Chenango Road, Farm to Market Road, Bevier Street & OquagaLake Road Mowing right of way on several county roads Drivers are reminded to be cautious in work zones even if they are not as active as some routes. BCSO Featured Warrant: Michael Pavlisak
BROOME COUNTY, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – The Broome County Sheriff's Office is currently looking for Michael Pavlisak on an outstanding warrant and is asking the residents of Broome County for assistance. Pavlisak is wanted for Violating the Sex Offender Registry, second offense, and New York State Parole Violation. Pavlisak is described as a white man with brown hair and green eyes. He is five feet nine inches tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds. Pavlisak was last known to frequent the Upper Court Street area of the Town of Kirkwood. Anyone with information on the location of Pavlisak is asked to contact the Broome County Sheriff's Office. Tips may be submitted electronically or by phone and will remain confidential.
