Broome County highway work beginning June 16
BROOME COUNTY, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – The Broome County Department of Public Works is making the public aware of upcoming road work.
The following road work has been scheduled for the week beginning June 16:
Ditch cleaning on Old State Road, Old Route 17, Conklin Forks Road, Broome CountyAirport Road & Tracey Creek Road
Grader patching on Trim Street
Guide rail repairs on Old Route 17, Oquaga Lake Road, Fox Farm Road & Pierce CreekRoad
Milling on Glenwood Road – County Route 113 (from Prospect Street to Linda Drive)
Culvert work on West Chenango Road, Farm to Market Road, Bevier Street & OquagaLake Road
Mowing right of way on several county roads
Drivers are reminded to be cautious in work zones even if they are not as active as some routes.

Eastbound I-40 lane closures begin near Carnuel
NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – This weekend, eastbound I-40 near Carnuel will be reduced to one lane for maintenance. NMDOT says various lane restrictions will occur at NM 333, and the NM 333 on-ramp will experience intermittent closures. Detours will be provided.
