Michael Sager reveals 'PBB' participation is a five-year-old wish

It looks like Michael Sager manifested his PBB participation! On social media, the Kapuso actor reposted an old tweet from 2020, where he expressed his wish to enter Kuya's house, and said "We did it, in Gods perfect timing." Michael reposted his open letter to Kuya, dated December 1, 2020, where he said "I would love to be apart of your bahay because I want to share my story to the Philippines and the world what it's like growing up in a different country and growing up away from your family!" "Thank you kuya for this opportunity! See you soon," he added. Fast forward to 2025 and Michael has fulfilled his wish to become a PBB housemate on the sensation season "PBB: Celebrity Collab Edition" featuring stars from the Kapuso and Kapamilya networks. Together with his ka-team mate Emilio Daez, Michael exited the PBB House on the series' 3rd eviction night back in April. Since then, Michael has only become more successful: He's acquired a new house, been featured in an LED billboard on EDSA, and has even done the "What hafen Bella" trend with the man himself Christopher Diwata. His fresh tweet has now received more than 9K double taps, and has been viewed nearly 250K times. On Instagram Stories, he reshared his tweet and said, "who would've thought :) beyond grateful." In case you needed a reminder about manifesting, let Michael Sager's tweet be it! Michael Sager does ‘What hafen, Vella?' trend with Cristopher Diwata

What hafen, Michael Sager? The Sparkle Star just met Cristopher Diwata, the viral guy behind the iconic "What hafen Vella" line, and he's so giddy about it! On TikTok, Michael shared a video of himself lip-syncing to Cristopher's iconic line while on the set of 'It's Showtime.' As he uttered the line 'Vampire right,' Cristopher appeared on the camera and posed with him. 'What haffen?' he wrote in the caption. In 2013, Cristopher joined the "It's Showtime" segment "Kalokalike" as Taylor Lautner's "Twilight" character, Jacob Black, where he said the now-viral line. Over a decade later, Cristopher's clip resurfaced causing him to go viral again, and stamp his place in the Philippine internet's hall of fame for memes. TikTok users as well as celebrities have been dubbing and recreating his iconic lines: "What hafen, Vella? Why you cryin' again? I know, vampire, right? Vampire will feyt to me." In an interview with GMA News Online, Cristopher said that he was a third-year college student when he joined the segment, and had just made a quick search on the internet to prepare for his performance. He improvised his now-iconic lines. — Jade Veronique Yap/LA, GMA Integrated News
