Vice Ganda visits 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition' housemates
Vice Ganda visited the "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" housemates! Monday's episode showed the Unkabogable Star entering Bahay ni Kuya and asking for some water. Upon entering, the housemates couldn't contain their excitement, screaming and gushing over the unexpected visitor. After taking a sip of water, the comedienne joined the housemates in the living room and shared a heartfelt pep talk with them. Experience out of my comfort zone," he added. For Esnyr, even if he becomes like Vice or Piolo Pascual, he'd still join PBB because he grew up watching the show. "Feeling ko papasok pa rin ako kasi ito 'yung kinalakihan ko. Nanonood po ako dati nito sa probinsya. At gusto ko talagang ma-test ang sarili ko kung hanggang ano 'yung kaya ko. Kung hanggang saan ako," Esnyr said. Upon hearing the housemates' answers, Vice left some encouraging words for them to ponder. "Sa inyo namang lahat walang imposible. All of you are limitless. All of you," she said. Pointing to Esnyr, Vice added. "You are limitless. Don't let anyone tell you or dictate to you to be the next Vice Ganda. You can never be the next Vice Ganda because you can create your own path, and you will. I'm looking forward to seeing that. I'll be on the side, rooting and applauding for you." After a brief moment with them, Vice bid goodbye to the housemates and even snapped for a group photo. Sweethearts, love teams slay #GMABeyond75 red carpet looks
GMA Network's diamond anniversary on Sunday night was just as intimate as it was spectacular, and the anticipated red carpet walk had no shortage of head-turners in their fabulous getups. Real-life sweethearts and pairings slayed the #GMABeyond75 red carpet, so here's a brief guide to these Kapuso luminaries' fashionable picks for the GMA 75th Anniversary Special. Raffy Tima and Mariz Umali-Tima GMA Integrated News' version of a power couple is a distinction reserved for veteran broadcast journalists Raffy Tima and Mariz Umali-Tima. Both were spotted in their pad paper-inspired ensembles by local designer Daryl Maat, who was also responsible for some of the outfits of other Kapuso news luminaries in attendance. Raffy, a Balitanghali anchor, wore the reimagined traditional barong, while Mariz, an Unang Hirit host, matched it with the version of a Filipiniana– both bearing the iconic red-and-blue horizontal stitchings and embroidered doodles à la Daryl Maat. Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera are no stranger to red carpets– they're the Kapuso Primetime King and Queen after all– but their #GMABeyond75 aura was the definition of timeless sophistication. Dingdong's textured gray-and-black ensemble– slightly open at the chest and a pocket square for added accent– matched Marian's clear blue column gown beaded beautifully with gems and sequins. Barbie Forteza and David Licauco Though Barbie Forteza and David Licauco weren't together in the literal sense of the word during their red carpet moment, BarDa fans can still celebrate the fact that they walked and posed for the camera next to each other. The Kapuso Primetime Princess glowed in her custom Fatima Beltran butter yellow off-shoulder gown. The details in this custom creation weren't so much muted as they were intentionally placed to allow Barbie's au naturel beauty to shine: skirt just long enough to kiss the floor, a choker neck detail that draped down her back, and a perfect slit that exposed her gold stilettos for a subtly daring finish. David, on the other hand, lived up to his Pambansang Ginoo nickname, electing to wear a classic embroidered Barong Tagalog over black pants to complete this timeless look. Zoren Legazpi and Carmina Villaroel Zoren Legaspi and Carmina Villaorel have always been worthy ambassadors of sharp and elegant looks, and their red carpet moment at #GMABeyond75 was no exception. The veteran couple, who walked with Sparkle twins Mavy and Cassy, exuded elegance in Zoren's deep blue double-breasted suit, and in Carmina's sequin beige gown. Ysabel Ortega and Miguel Tanfelix More than just an on-screen love team, the real-life tandem of Ysabel Ortega and Miguel Tanfelix is one of the most adored and in demand pairings the Kapuso network has to offer. Ysabel wore a custom Brandon Chan pink no-strap peplum dress, while Miguel went with an old-school silhouette of an oversized all-black tuxedo over wide pants and pointy black leather. Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz The powerhouse pairing of real-life love birds Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz had effortless charm and appeal during their #GMABeyond75 red carpet moment. Rayver partnered his double-breasted suit in nude with a black bow tie and trousers, while Julie Anne rocked her starry black two-piece custom from Studio Brandon Chan. Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos Artsy couple Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos wore their personalities to the #GMABeyond75 celebration. Gabbi owned her red carpet moment while in her two-piece Cheetah Rivera gown. The strapless vibrant yellow top with puffy sleeves was as bubbly as the Kapuso actress-host, while the long olive green skirt hugged her toned legs to the floor. Khalil, on the other hand, was simple, sleek, and artistic with his flower-embroidered traditional Barong Tagalog ensemble. Elle Villanueva and Derrick Monasterio Sparkle's sultry leading lady Elle Villanueva and debonaire Derrick Monasterio understood the assignment. They wore matching rose pink outfits for their #GMABeyond75 red carpet vibe– Elle with a figure-hugging lace dress with long sleeves, while Derrick opted for a classic wide-lapelled tuxedo over a bowtied white undershirt and black trousers. Ruru Madrid and Bianca Umali RuCa's Ruru Madrid and Bianca Umali were a sight to behold during the #GMABeyond75 gala night. The Kapuso Primetime Action Hero went for a menswear staple with a comfy oversized stone gray coat-and-tie, while the Sang'gre star wore a light bronze column gown elaborately designed by Joe San Antonio that fittingly resembled the thematic color of Terra's character. Marco Masa and Ashley Sarmiento Sparkle teens Marco Masa and Ashley Sarmiento walked the red carpet with subtle intentions in mind. The best friends, whose great friendship started even before their careers in GMA began, entered the red alley together in quiet purple matching– Ashley in her straightforward lavender silk dress, and Marco in a traditional black coat with purple shirt and tie. Arthur Solinap and Rochelle Pangilinan Real-life Kapuso husband-and-wife Arthur Solinap and Rochelle Pangilinan-Solinap have been a staple pairing on red carpets since tying the knot in 2017. For #GMABeyond75, the veteran actor and Pepito Manaloto mainstay opted for a sophisticated getup in his midnight blue tuxedo on a black undershirt, while the celebrated dancer and SexBomb icon was fabulous in Fatima Beltran's royal blue silk off-shoulder.

Ysabel Ortega admits she felt challenged by Enchan, fight scenes in 'Sang'gre'
Ysabel Ortega admitted she felt challenged learning Enchan, the fictional language in Encantadia, as well as the fight scenes she had to do in "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre." In Aubrey Carampel's report in "24 Oras" Monday, the Sparkle star shared that there were times she would forget the nuances of language when they were shooting scenes for the series. "Sobrang complex pala ng mundo [ng Encantadia], it's literally an alternate universe to the point na first day ko, as in, may mga times na I still forget 'yung mga nuances. May isa akong eksena nasabi ko, 'Tulungan mo ko, please' so syempre nag-cut kami. Sabi nila, 'Ysabel walang please sa Encantadia ha,'" she said. Ysabel also talked about her challenging yet rewarding role as Armea, which required fight scenes. "More on refresher na lang sa sword fighting, kasi sword po 'yung weapon ko dito sa 'Sang'gre,' so of course training din for the scenes that we have," she said. "Nag-t-training talaga kami a day before shooting para talagang ma-master na 'yung mga fight scenes na gagawin namin for the show," she added. Ysabel stars as Armea, the daughter of King Ybrahim (Ruru Madrid) and Queen Alena (Gabbi Garcia) of Sapiro. On last Wednesday's episode, Armea was officially crowned queen of the kingdom following the death of Ybrahim. "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" airs on GMA Network from Mondays to Fridays at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." You can also watch it online via the Kapuso Stream on YouTube. —CDC, GMA Integrated News
