Famous Philly fan goes on NSFW Sixers rant on Paul George's podcast

Famous Philly fan goes on NSFW Sixers rant on Paul George's podcast The Philadelphia fan base is a vocal one. They will let their teams know when things are not going the way they expect them to of if a team is not giving the type of effort they expect in the City of Brotherly Love. The fans at the Wells Fargo Center certainly let the Sixers know their displeasure with what was going on in the 2024-25 season with a lot of boos in a season that was expected to bring a championship to Philadelphia for the first time since 1983. Instead, injuries took their toll and the Sixers finished 24-58. Paul George, who drew a lot of ire from Philly fans after signing a 4-year $212 million deal, welcomed famous Philadelphia fans Gillie Da King and Wallo267, hosts of the "Million Dollaz Worth of Game" podcast, onto "Podcast P with Paul George" and Gillie went on an NSFW rant when it comes to the Sixers. One can watch the clip below. Please be advised that the clip below contains language that some might consider offensive. It's obvious that Philadelphia fans are frustrated with the Sixers. The franchise has not passed Round 2 of the playoffs since 2001 despite having some serious talent on the roster. However, the Sixers have also dealt with a lot of bad luck when it comes to injuries to Joel Embiid, George, and others. It will be interesting to see if the Sixers will be able to have a healthy run in the future, because if they do, then anything can happen.

Philly legends Gillie and Wallo have advice for Sixers star Paul George

Philly legends Gillie and Wallo have advice for Sixers star Paul George It's no secret that Paul George had a tough first season with the Philadelphia 76ers. After signing a 4-year $212 million deal with the Sixers in the offseason, George only played 41 games due to injury and averaged 16.2 points while shooting only 43% from the floor. Those are not numbers normally associated with George. As George looks to move forward in the 2025 offseason, he knows there's work to be done. He and the Sixers expect more and he has to be able to find a way to bounce back and get back to the production that made him a 9-time All-Star. On the latest episode of "Podcast P with Paul George", George had Philadelphia legends Gillie and Wallo--hosts of the "Million Dollaz Worth of Game" podcast--on and the two of them gave him some advice on how to handle Philadelphia and their expectations for him: I represent the real Philadelphia fan. We (expletive) frustrated, bro. It's not like we don't got the talent. We have the talent. It's like we can't even get everybody on the court together, man. Philadelphia, we like to see effort. Allen Iverson didn't win (expletive). He will always be the GOAT around this (expletive) because he put in 100% effort. He left everything on the floor. Brian Dawkins, never won (expletive) around here. He will always be a GOAT, because our eyes, look at Brian Dawkins and said, he gives a maximum (expletive) effort every single time, every snap, every snap. Jason Kelce, same thing that you be like 'Why are they GOATs?' When we watched them, we watched him give up maximum effort and put their (expletive) life on the line. And we (expletive) respect that. We are a hard working (expletive) city that ain't got (expletive) bro. You gotta understand, when the Eagles lose, it feels like your (expletive) cousin died, bro, like, not like, like first cousin second, like a third cousin died. Like, just seen at the cookouts a couple times. But, you know he your cousin, right? So when he die, you might not be crying, but you like, dang, we a (expletive) poor city, bro. Everybody, (expletive) house touch, man. If we in the crib arguing with his (expletive), you hear everything. The sports for us is everything that's just like an escape. Gillie then threw down his own expectation of George to which George had an answer ready to go: Gillie: To be real. I gave you a pass this year. This year? You gotta go stupid, bro. George: Nah, nah. 100%. The most frustrating thing about the last season was, obviously, I came in I was healthy. I didn't have no hiccups. I spent the whole off season working on my body, getting healthy, and then I get to Philly preseason, I get hurt, and from that point on, like, I didn't give it full time to heal. I got an expectation. I'm not gonna leave them hanging. I wanna go out there and play. I'm out there and it's like, 'Damn' like, I know something ain't right. Obviously, the hyperextension—my knee was still bothering me. I had the brace for a long time from the brace, I started to develop the quad tendon injury. Then I had an injury that I didn't even know, and this was the original of why I was feeling like something's off, come to find out I had a torn adduct, and the whole time, it's just like people, like the Philly fans, can be rough on you. I was cool with it because it again, at the end of the day, it's an expectation that they hold, and I respect that. I'm not one that's gonna shy away from that. I want that heat. You know what I mean? I want that pressure. It just was unfortunate that, like, 'Man, I can't give them everything I got,' and I ain't here for no excuses I didn't hold up to my bargain right but I do know, and I have learned what I need to go and do going forward. George is still one of the better players in this league when he's healthy. He can do a lot of good things out on the floor and the Sixers will need him on the floor going forward. The chemistry will grow between him, Joel Embiid, and Tyrese Maxey as long as they play together and get things done.

Shedeur Sanders Finally Drafted By The Cleveland Browns Following Prank Call Moment, X Reacts

Black America Web Featured Video CLOSE Source: Perry Knotts / Getty / Shedeur Sanders / NFL Draft 2025 Finally, after falling to the fifth round after being projected to go in the first, the Colorado Buffaloes star quarterback, and son of NFL legend Deion Sanders, is officially a member of the Cleveland Browns. The 2025 NFL Draft didn't quite go as planned for Shedeur Sanders, who watched in utter disbelief as he continued to go undrafted after many NFL analysts and so-called draft experts believed he would go in the first round. Sanders, was not at the NFL Draft held in Green Bay at Lambeau Field, but instead opted for a swanky private watch party featuring his brother, Shilo Sanders, his father and former head coach Deion Sanders and other guests like Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast host Gillie, and Sanders rumored boo, reggae artist Shenseea, and plenty of cameras to document the moment. Someone Actually Prank Called Shedeur Sanders On His Private Line Days of waiting to hear from an NFL team included a prank call from individuals claiming to be from an organization. The distasteful moment was also caught on camera. When he was asked what the person said on the phone, Sanders responded, 'He said, 'You're going to have to wait a little longer.' It's 50/50.' Everyone was visibly confused with someone saying in the background, 'Nobody got this number, though,' Sanders responds, 'It's a private number.' A video surfaced on X, formerly Twitter, showing a white student from the University of Mississippi calling Sanders, claiming to be New Orleans Saints owner Mickey Loomis. Bruh. Regardless, Sanders finally received the call he was waiting for, informing him that he would be joining the Cleveland Browns organization as a member of their roster, which is already heavily stocked at the quarterback position. In another video, after celebrating the moment, a more focused Sanders is locked in, telling his brother, 'I just wanna ball,' confirming he has an eye on the starting QB role, which is currently up for grabs following the injury to Deshaun Watson. We can't wait to see Shedeur ball out, and put all the teams that didn't draft him on notice. Until that day, you can see more reactions in the gallery below. Deion Sanders says he won't influence Shedeur Sanders' NFL draft destination

Deion Sanders says he won't influence Shedeur Sanders' NFL draft destination Show Caption Hide Caption Miami QB Cam Ward's pro day leaves no doubts about No. 1 NFL draft pick Cam Ward is feeling confident after his pro day performance. He tells the media why he thinks he will be the number one overall draft pick in April. Deion Sanders won't be playing matchmaker at the NFL draft. The Colorado coach, who is sending two sons and another star to the pros in 2025, is singing a different tune this year. During an appearance on "The Skip Bayless Show," Sanders spoke at length about the draft process and his thoughts on Shedeur Sanders, including whether he's going to have influence over the quarterback's potential destination. "Shedeur has told me, he's talked to me intently about all the visits he's had with all the teams, so I know where his heart is, I know where he wants to go," Sanders said. "If it's New York, it's New York, if it's Tennessee, if it's Cleveland, if it's still the Raiders, if it's New Orleans, if it's any of those teams that are seeking a quarterback, I'm happy with it, man. Because I know what he's going to do to the organization." MORE: Cam Ward, Shedeur Sanders don't have traditional agents before NFL draft: Does it matter? Sanders said the later some players go in the draft, the better the team will be. He added that it's still a blessing rather than a curse. The Colorado coach called his kids "born winners" and that he isn't worried about them on the field. When asked by Bayless, Sanders said he wouldn't orchestrate where Shedeur is eventually drafted. "No, no, no," he said. "Because that's not God's will right now. I want Shedeur to do what he's consistently done – excel against all odds. I like the hating, I like the naysaying, I like the ignorance because it makes us feel better about what we do and it gives him another chip on his shoulder." It's a noticeable shift from Sanders' comments in 2024, when he essentially insisted the opposite. "I know where I want them to go," Sanders said during an appearance on the "Million Dollaz Worth of Game" podcast in March 2024. "So, it's certain cities that ain't going to happen. It's going to be an Eli." He even added that cold weather cities could've been on the chopping block. "Like, I don't want my kid (Shedeur) going nowhere cold next year," Sanders said via Pro Football Talk. "He grew up in Texas. He played in Jackson (Mississippi), played in Colorado. Season's over before it gets cold in Colorado. I'm just thinking way ahead. I don't want that for him." SHEDEUR SANDERS LANDING SPOTS: Where QB could end up after Russell Wilson, Giants deal Shedeur Sanders is expected to come off the board early on draft night, with a destination that remains a mystery. He projects inside the top-10, with a ceiling at high as No. 2 overall but could slide if the board doesn't break right. Whenever the quarterback hears his name called, Deion Sanders seems to be happy with whatever the end result is. Time will tell if that remains the case.

Eagles star A.J. Brown reveals why he pursued football career over baseball

A.J. Brown's sixth season in the NFL was likely his most memorable. The All-Pro wide receiver delivered a third consecutive 1,000-yard season and was a key part of the Philadelphia Eagles' run to a Super Bowl title. Before making the leap to the NFL, Brown finished with just under 3,000 receiving yards with the Ole Miss Rebels during his time as a college football star. While Brown has become one of the best players in his sport, there was a time when he contemplated a different path. The three-time Pro Bowler excelled at football and baseball at Starkville High in Mississippi. He also played in the 2015 Under Armour High School All-America Baseball Game. Brown admitted he was alarmed by the hard-throwing abilities of pitchers competing in that game, which led to his decision to pursue football. "I'll tell you when I made the decision to play football. I'm in right field. I'm in the All-America game in Chicago. The first was like 97 (mph) — 97 off the rip? I'm usually facing like 85," Brown explained during a recent appearance on the "Million Dollaz Worth of Game" podcast. "We still in high school, though. So, these are all high school players, and these guys are probably gonna go first round. I see him throwing an off-speed pitch, and it's like a 90-mph breaking ball. I'm gonna see if I can go over here and hit this." Brown did draw interest from MLB teams, and the San Diego Padres drafted him in one of the later rounds in 2016. Brown, however, elected to attend college in his native Mississippi and take the football route. Brown earned first-team All-SEC honors twice during his standout career at Ole Miss. Earlier this month, Padres area scout Stephen Moritz recalled scouting Brown a decade ago and seeing his elite athleticism. "You're never certain," Moritz told "As scouts, you're wrong more often than you're right. But I was as certain as I could be [that] he was going to be a good outfielder. He was going to be great in the outfield. There was too much athleticism. There was natural ability. You add all his tools together, that was the one thing I was pretty confident in. This dude is going to be a good outfielder in the big leagues." In 2020, Brown detailed how baseball helped mold him into the football player he is today. "You catch the ball with your eyes," Brown told ESPN. "Baseball really helped me out with that for football. When you're tracking a ball, especially a deep ball, it helped me a lot. I played center field in baseball. On a deep pass in football, you judge it and track it just like a center fielder." The Tennessee Titans selected Brown in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft and traded him to the Eagles during the 2022 NFL Draft.
