Mizoram BJP celebrates 11 yrs of Modi govt in Centre
Aizawl: As the Narendra Modi-led govt completed 11 years at the Centre, the BJP in Mizoram marked the occassion with a workshop at its state office 'Mipui Run' or 'Atal Bhavan' in Aizawl on Thursday, highlighting welfare schemes and development milestones achieved under PM Modi's leadership.

The event was marked by a welcome address from MLA and State Core Group member and former state minister Dr K Beichhua. Lok Sabha MP Kamakhya Prasad Tasa addressed the gathering virtually, delivering a keynote speech on the achievements of the Modi govt, while state BJP president Vanlalhmuaka also spoke on the occasion.
Calling the celebration a significant moment for the party workers in Mizoram, Vanlalhmuaka said, "This workshop gives us the opportunity to reflect on how the Modi govt has served the people in the last 11 years and strived towards building a 'Viksit Bharat'." He expressed gratitude to MP Tasa for guiding
in this awareness drive.
MP Tasa, speaking via video conference, said the 11-year milestone would be marked from June 9 to 21 across the country and in every district of Mizoram. "We will inform people of the various poverty alleviation schemes implemented under the Modi government and also highlight the government's corruption-free record and developmental strides," he said.
