Four Mexican nationals indicted for conspiracy to distribute several kilograms of drugs in Green Bay
GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Four people illegally in the United States were indicted on Tuesday by a federal grand jury regarding a conspiracy to distribute mass amounts of cocaine and meth in Green Bay. Richard G. Frohling, the Acting United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, announced the indictments on Thursday, citing that three of the four had resided in Rockford, Illinois and another in Louisville, Kentucky. 22-year-old Wisconsin man sentenced to over 12 years in prison for armed robberies of postal workers The four defendants are all Mexican nationals, according to the release, each having entered the United States illegally. One of the defendants had previously been deported. The following individuals face a minimum of 10 years in prison with a potential lifetime prison sentence if convicted of the conspiracy to distribute over 5 kilograms of cocaine charges: 50-year-old Ruben Salgado Espinoza of Rockford Conspiracy to Distribute over 5 kilograms of Cocaine Possession with intent to distribute over 5 kilograms of Cocaine Illegal re-entry 20-year-old Pablo Sifuentes Navarro of Rockford Conspiracy to distribute over 5 kilograms of cocaine Possession with intent to distribute over 5 kilograms of cocaine Distribution of at least 500 grams of cocaine. 20-year-old Pedro Sifuentes Navarro of Louisville Conspiracy to distribute over 5 kilograms of cocaine Possession with intent to distribute over 5 kilograms of cocaine 27-year-old Sanjuana Montenegro Ochoa of Rockford Conspiracy to distribute over 5 kilograms of cocaine and 50 grams of methamphetamine The Drug Enforcement Administration on April 22, 2025, seized about 30 kilograms of cocaine from vehicles that were occupied by Espinoza, Pablo and Pedro in Green Bay. Former Mishicot High School teacher federally indicted on two counts of child porn, faces 19 charges in Manitowoc County The defendants allegedly expected to receive about $495,000 in cash in exchange. Former Mishicot teacher Ryan Schroeder faces 2 federal charges of producing child porn
MANITOWOC – Ryan S. Schroeder, a former Mishicot High School physical education teacher and track and cross country coach, has been indicted on two federal charges of producing child porn. The indictment has been sealed to the public and no hearings are scheduled in his case yet. The charges were filed May 20. Schroeder, 37, is already facing 19 felonies in Manitowoc County Circuit Court related to sexually assaulting a student at Mishicot High School while he was a teacher and coach. According to the criminal complaint, law enforcement claims Schroeder admitted to sexually assaulting a student more than 50 times over a period of two years. He was arrested April 16 after an investigation that started when Manitowoc County Sheriff's Office received reports of alleged inappropriate behavior with students. Schroeder, the criminal complaint said, admitted to law enforcement he would bring his victim, who was 14 years old when the assaults started, to various locations throughout Manitowoc County, including Mishicot High School, where he would sexually assault them. Law enforcement officials found more than 60 sexually explicit photos and videos of his victim in a hidden Snapchat folder and 18 more in a deleted folder. A second victim was mentioned in the complaint, which said Schroeder admitted to sending 10 sexually explicit photos of himself to the second victim through Instagram since February, and said he received 10 sexually explicit photos from the victim. The complaint does not provide the victim's age. Schroeder has been charged with repeated sexual assault of same child, second-degree sexual assault of child, child enticement, sexual assault of student by school staff, two counts of child sexual exploitation, cause a child age 13-18 to view sexual activity, use a computer to facilitate a child sex crime, and 10 counts of possession of child pornography. Multiple charges are Class C felonies, which carry a punishment of up to 40 years in state prison and a maximum fine of $100,000. He appeared in Manitowoc County Circuit Court for an initial appearance April 21 and is expected to appear in court for "further proceedings" June 6. Schroeder is being represented by attorney David J. Pawlowski in the charges through the Manitowoc County Circuit Court. That case is being prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Angelina Scarpelli and presided over by Judge Mark Rohrer. No attorney is listed yet for Schroeder in his federal charges. Alisa M. 40-year-old man charged with child abduction of pregnant Wisconsin teenager has bond set at $2 million
(WFRV) – 40-year-old Gary Day, the man accused of child abduction in a two-month-long AMBER Alert for a pregnant Wisconsin teenager, was extradited to Wisconsin and had a court hearing on Thursday. Day, who faces two felony charges of child abduction and two felony charges of child enticement, appeared in court in custody in Dodge County, just over Mishicot High School teacher arrested for alleged sexual assault offenses involving students Day is charged with the abduction of 17-year-old Sophia Franklin of Beaver Dam, who is pregnant with Day's child. Mishicot High School teacher arrested for alleged sexual assault offenses involving students
MISHICOT, Wis. (WFRV) – A teacher and coach from Mishicot High School was arrested on multiple charges of sexual assault for alleged incidents involving students. On Wednesday, April 16, 36-year-old Ryan Scott Schroeder of Francis Creek was arrested after an investigation into reports of alleged inappropriate behavior with students, deputies with the Manitowoc County Sheriff's Office said in a release Thursday. Deputies noted that Schroeder is a physical education teacher and coach at Mishicot High School. Dead dog found in dumpster, Oshkosh Police Department investigating Schroeder was taken into custody due to evidence deputies and officers with the Mishicot Police Department obtained during the investigation. Investigators stated that the alleged conduct is believed to have happened over an 'extended period of time,' and the Mishicot School District has been working closely with the Sheriff's Office and Police Department during the investigation. Schroeder is being held at the Manitowoc County Jail on the following charges: Second Degree Sexual Assault of a Child Repeated Sexual Assault of the Same Child Sexual Assault of a Child by School Staff Possession of Child Pornography Child Enticement Police: 10 arrested stemming from Sheboygan shooting, suspects from various Wisconsin cities & Chicago Deputies are hoping to identify any additional victims or witnesses who are willing to come forward after Schroeder's arrest.
