2 people injured in 2-vehicle crash in Ottawa's east end
A man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries following a two-vehicle crash in Ottawa's east end. Emergency crews responded to a collision involving a car and a water truck at the intersection of Mitch Owens Road and Boundary Road at 6:10 a.m. Tuesday. An Ottawa Paramedic Service spokesperson says a man in the car suffered critical injuries and was transported to hospital in critical condition. A woman in the car suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. The Ottawa Police Service is investigating the crash. Boundary Road is closed in both directions between Thunder and Devine roads, while the eastbound lanes of Mitch Owens Road are closed between Boundary and Blackcreek roads.
