Canon Business Services secures all six Microsoft accolades

Canon Business Services ANZ (CBS) has achieved all six Microsoft Solutions Partner designations, positioning the company among the top one percent of Microsoft partners in Australia. CBS now holds designations in Business Applications, Data and AI (Azure), Digital and App Innovation (Azure), Infrastructure (Azure), Security, and Modern Work, making it one of only 42 partners out of approximately 7,000 in Australia to gain all six awards. The company's expanded partnership with Microsoft allows CBS to utilise the entire suite of Microsoft technology in delivering specialised solutions, streamlining client processes, and creating operational efficiencies across a range of industries. The Business Applications designation focuses on integrated solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, while Data and AI (Azure) leverages Azure's analytics and artificial intelligence capabilities to support intelligent decision-making. Digital and App Innovation (Azure) enables faster development and deployment of cloud applications. Infrastructure (Azure) delivers scalable cloud infrastructure. The Security designation supports businesses in mitigating cyber risks, and Modern Work encourages productivity through Microsoft 365 tools and supports remote collaboration. CBS's capabilities in Microsoft technologies have already been utilised in a project with the South Australian Motor Sport Board. CBS developed a custom credentialling application for the Adelaide 500, now called the bp Adelaide Grand Final, employing expertise from the Modern Applications and Security designations. The application improved the speed of distribution and operational efficiency during the event. The collaboration enabled the South Australian Motor Sport Board team to further advance its ticketing and marketing operations using Microsoft Dynamics 365. This has generated new commercial opportunities by adding a digital advertising asset to tickets, and by expanding the platform into a customer relationship management (CRM) system for managing ticketing data, sponsor contacts, suppliers, and trade partners. Rebecca Lawson, Commercial Manager at the South Australian Motor Sport Board, said CBS's use of Microsoft solutions resulted in improvements in "distribution speed, resource reduction, and overall operational efficiency." Lawson added: "We've just created a new digital advertising asset on the ticket, which is an exciting commercial opportunity. We've also expanded the platform into a CRM that combines all the ticketing data, contact and account information for our sponsors, event suppliers, and trade activation partners." The announcement was welcomed by Microsoft, with Daniyel McAvoy, Microsoft ANZ Partnership Development Manager, stating: "We congratulate and acknowledge the incredible investment that Canon Business Services has made achieving all six Microsoft Solutions Partner designations. Canon Business Services is a valuable partner in the Microsoft ecosystem, and we look forward to continuing our partnership, securing the cyber foundation of the future, and developing innovative solutions with provable value AI for businesses across Australia and New Zealand." Luke Clark, CEO of Canon Business Services, highlighted the significance of the achievement both for his company and for its customers. "This achievement reflects our proven track record of delivering tailored Microsoft solutions that meet the unique needs of our customers," Clark said. "Securing all six Solutions Partner designations demonstrates our commitment to staying at the forefront of technology and innovation, ensuring we can continue to provide Oceania businesses with the most effective and impactful solutions available." With the six Microsoft Solutions Partner designations, CBS expands its capacity to offer deep expertise and a broader range of solutions, supporting customers in adapting to dynamic business requirements across Australia and New Zealand.
