Aston Villa enquire about Lens' Neil El Aynaoui

Interest in RC Lens midfielder Neil El Aynaoui (23) is growing, with Aston Villa the latest side to be linked with a move for the Moroccan, as per Mohamed Toubache-Ter. Les Sang et Or have sold off many of their most bankable assets over the past 12 months. Elye Wahi was the first high-profile name to leave the club when he joined Olympique de Marseille in the summer. He was followed out of the door by the likes of Brice Samba, Abdukodir Khusanov, Przemyslaw Frankowski, and Kevin Danso later in the season. Advertisement The sales won't stop there either. Facundo Medina is touted for a summer departure, and he will be allowed to leave the club in the event of a suitable offer. El Aynaoui, who almost joined AS Monaco last summer before failing his medical, does now look likely to leave this time around. Juventus have been linked with a move for the Morocco youth international, and Aston Villa are now the latest team to have made an enquiry about his services. As they have been with their other bankable assets, Lens will be open to a transfer, at the right price. GFFN | Luke Entwistle
