Lamborghini Fenomeno unveiled with top speed of 350 kmph, is limited to 29 units
At Monterey Car Week 2025, Lamborghini lifted the veil on perhaps its most audacious creation yet: the Fenomeno, a limited-run hybrid hypercar that doubles as a bold design manifesto from Centro Stile's 20-year legacy. Restricted to just 29 customer-bound units (with one reserved for Lamborghini's own collection), the Fenomeno blends raw power, avant-garde design, and exclusive craftsmanship—truly a vehicle that lives up to its name, which echoes a legendary fighting bull from Morelia, Mexico. What powers the Lamborghini Fenomeno? At the heart of the Fenomeno lies Lamborghini's most potent V12 engine ever crafted, a naturally aspirated 6.5-litre powerhouse delivering a staggering 1,065 bhp at 9,250 rpm, paired with three electric motors contributing another 241 bhp, for a total output of 1,306 bhp. At the rear, the Fenomeno gets Y-shaped LED tail lamps. What is the top speed and acceleration time of the Lamborghini Fenomeno? This superlative powertrain results in a catapulting 0–100 km/h (0–62 mph) time of just 2.4 seconds and a top speed exceeding 350 km/h (218+ mph). Lamborghini Fenomeno highlights The Fenomeno features Lamborghini's latest CCM-R Plus carbon-ceramic brake system—designed for exceptional durability and consistent, high-performance stopping power. Its aerodynamic toolkit includes novel air intakes, aerodynamic 'curtains," and an S-duct inspired by GT3 race cars—all serving functional cooling and stability, not just aesthetic flair. From the sides, the Fenomeno continues to have that wedge shape design that we have seen on sports cars from Lamborghini. Design-wise, the Fenomeno is a radical iteration of the brand's stylistic language. Its silhouette draws inspiration from the long-tail Essenza SCV12, while the front fascia reinterprets signature Y-shaped lighting and introduces bolder geometric contours. The monocoque chassis and body are fully carbon fiber, accentuating lightweight performance and visually underscoring its raceborne heritage. Inside, the cockpit is pure futurism: carbon everywhere, three digital screens, ambient lighting that frames the layout like something from a sci-fi flick, and full customization through Lamborghini's Ad Personam program—over 400 exterior hues and a virtually unlimited array of interior materials and palettes. While Lamborghini teases this as a beacon for future styling and hybrid innovation, the company's electrification roadmap—covering models like the Lanzador and electric Urus—remains fluid, with timelines yet to fully crystallize. Lamborghini Unveils Fenomeno, Its Most Powerful V12 Hybrid Yet
Lamborghini has introduced the Fenomeno, its most powerful V12 hybrid supercar, at Monterey Car Week 2025. Celebrating the 20th anniversary of Centro Stile, Lamborghini's design division, the Fenomeno is a limited-edition model that pushes the boundaries of performance and design. The Fenomeno is powered by a naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 engine paired with a tri-electric motor hybrid system, delivering a combined output of 1,065 horsepower. This powertrain enables the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.4 seconds, with a top speed exceeding 350 km/h. The hybrid system includes a 7.0 kWh battery, providing a modest electric-only range, and contributes to a class-leading power-to-weight ratio of 1.64 kg/hp. Design enhancements on the Fenomeno are both functional and aesthetic. The vehicle features redesigned doors for improved cooling, aerodynamic modifications such as a GT3-style S-duct, and a new hood design that increases aerodynamic load by 30 percent. These changes not only enhance performance but also reflect Lamborghini's commitment to innovation in automotive design. ADVERTISEMENT The Fenomeno is part of Lamborghini's exclusive 'Few Off' series, with only 29 units planned for production. This rarity positions the Fenomeno among the most exclusive models in Lamborghini's history, following in the footsteps of previous limited-edition cars like the Reventón and Centenario. The vehicle's pricing is expected to be in the range of €3 million to €3.5 million, reflecting its status as a high-performance, limited-production hypercar.

Lamborghini debuts Fenomeno, most powerful V12 yet; Winkelmann explains why the V12 isn't done yet
Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini. Lamborghini has lifted the covers off the Fenomeno, its most powerful V12 yet, at Monterey Car Week 2025 . This limited-run model celebrates the 20th anniversary of Lamborghini's Centro Stile. During a recent media interaction, we spoke to Stephan Winkelmann , President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, who shared insights on the car's design philosophy, performance, customer allocation, and more. Speaking ahead of the world premiere of Lamborghini's latest few-off creation at Monterey, Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO, revealed 'We are going to produce 29 units plus one (the zero car) for us. Pricing will be between 3 and 3.5 million euros.' He explained that Lamborghini's few-off projects began in 2007 as a way to 'test the validity and solidity of the brand' and have now become 'part of our lineup… without saying when and where we are going to present the car.' The latest machine, he said, will sprint from 0–100 kmph in 2.4 seconds and top 350 kmph, with a fully carbon-fibre body and 'extensive individualisation in colours and materials.' The NA 6.5-litre unit produces 823 hp at 9,250 rpm, paired with three electric motors for a combined output of 1,064 hp . One of these motors is integrated into the new eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox, while two oil-cooled units on the front axle handle torque vectoring and regenerative braking. A lightweight 7 kWh battery allows for around 20 km of pure-electric driving. However, the focus here is on performance: the 0–100 kmph sprint takes just 2.4 seconds, 0–200 kmph is done in 6.7 seconds, and top speed exceeds 350 kmph. It's about the single customers, and those are spread all over the globe.' implying that there won't be any targeted market for the 29 units. Winkelmann also spoke about the future of V12s as he said: 'It's key to maintain V12 as long as possible. At least to the year 2035. Maybe longer with synthetic fuel . It's a mix between legislation and opportunities like e-fuels that will help keep these engines alive.' On allocation, he explained, 'We have an allocation system which is very transparent. Together with our dealers, we are approaching those customers (Implying that dealers play a key role in identifying and approaching these top-tier clients first). Almost all the cars are already sold.' Addressing whether few-offs will take on a bigger role, Winkelmann said, 'It's for sure an add-on. It can't be the main focus, but it's part of positioning the brand and rewarding our most loyal customers.' He drew a clear line between few-offs and special editions: 'This car is not a special edition. A special edition is a car with some features in terms of colour or options but no changes in design. A few-off is top of the line, high investment, and very limited volumes. Discover everything about the automotive world at Times of India .
