Hesham Nazih Joins Marvel Again to Score 'Eyes of Wakanda' Animated Series, Streaming August 6 on Disney+
Renowned Egyptian composer Hesham Nazih has announced his latest collaboration with Marvel Animation: composing the score for Eyes of Wakanda, a new animated series set to premiere on Disney+ on August 6, 2025. Nazih shared the exciting news via his official platforms, marking his second partnership with Marvel following the global acclaim he received for his work on Moon Knight (2022). His Moon Knight score was widely praised for its musical depth and seamless fusion of Egyptian identity with Hollywood-style storytelling. What Is Eyes of Wakanda? Set in the same universe as Black Panther, Eyes of Wakanda is one of the first projects in Marvel's Phase Six and consists of four animated episodes produced by Marvel Animation. The story follows elite Wakandan warriors known as the 'Hatut Zeraze' or 'War Dogs,' tasked across different eras with retrieving lost pieces of vibranium — the powerful, mysterious metal unique to Wakanda. Described by some as an 'African James Bond,' the series dives into Wakanda's hidden history, blending espionage, sci-fi, and high-stakes action in a thrilling animated journey.

Is "Moon Knight" Season 2 Happening? Here's What We Know
Yara Sameh The possibility of "Moon Knight" season 2 gets addressed by the Marvel Cinematic Universe TV showrunner. Developed for the MCU by Jeremy Slater, "Moon Knight" stars Oscar Isaac as Marc Spector/Moon Knight and Steven Grant/Mr. Knight, two alters of a man with dissociative identity disorder, they are drawn into a mystery involving Egyptian gods. May Calamaway, F. Murray Abraham, and Ethan Hawke round out the ensemble of the show's first season, which ended with the cliffhanger introduction of a third alter, Jack Lockey. Despite Moon Knight Season 1 ending with a cliffhanger mid-credits scene, Marvel Studios and Disney+ have not yet ordered a follow-up season. In a new interview with ComicBook , Slater was asked what needs to happen for season 2 to become a reality on Disney+. The showrunner made it clear that, as much as he hopes to see Isaac back as the titular hero, two people can make Moon Knight season 2 happen: "Talk to Kevin Feige, Talk to Oscar Isaac. I think the ball's really in their court. It's as much or as little Moon Knight as Oscar wants to do. Kevin's the guy with the master plan, and I think when he comes up with a way to really incorporate Moon Knight into there … It's my hope that we're gonna see him again, but I'm as curious as the rest of you guys. "Moon Knight" season 1 was made prior to the restructuring with Marvel Television after the creative overhaul on "Daredevil: Born Again", and Marvel Studios is now focused on making more traditional TV shows that run for multiple seasons. Given how the Moon Knight finale ended, there are seeds planted that could lead into season 2 and beyond. However, based on Slater's comments, it will all be up to Kevin Feige and Isaac in the long run, and they may simply be trying to look at how they could extend Moon Knight for several seasons beyond season 2. What may be holding up Moon Knight season 2 right now is the fact that Marvel Studios is trying to finish The Multiverse Saga, as Phase 6 has only a handful of movies and TV shows lined up for the final chapter. The idea may be to do more with Moon Knight in Phase 7, especially if Feige and Isaac find more organic ways for season 2 to work in terms of stories. Given how much there is to explore with Moon Knight, the journey is most likely not over for him yet. Whether or not that will be in the form of the Moon Knight TV show going forward with more seasons or having Isaac appear in other projects where they can continue to explore Marc, Steven, and Jake Lockley in the MCU, alongside other Marvel players, remains to be seen. read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News Egypt confirms denial of airspace access to US B-52 bombers News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia News Australia Fines Telegram $600,000 Over Terrorism, Child Abuse Content Arts & Culture Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's $4.7M LA Home Burglarized Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Sports Neymar Announced for Brazil's Preliminary List for 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers News Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly Inaugurates Two Indian Companies Arts & Culture New Archaeological Discovery from 26th Dynasty Uncovered in Karnak Temple Business Fear & Greed Index Plummets to Lowest Level Ever Recorded amid Global Trade War Arts & Culture Zahi Hawass: Claims of Columns Beneath the Pyramid of Khafre Are Lies

Moon Knight Season 2 Update Given by MCU Show Creator
Three years after the Moon Knight Season 1 finale, Marvel Cinematic Universe fans are still waiting for a second season of the Disney+ series to be greenlit by Marvel Studios. Developed for the MCU by Jeremy Slater, Moon Knight stars Oscar Isaac as Marc Spector/Moon Knight and Steven Grant/Mr. Knight, two alters of a man with dissociative identity disorder, as they are drawn into a mystery involving Egyptian gods. May Calamaway, F. Murray Abraham, and Ethan Hawke round out the ensemble of the show's first season, which ended on the cliffhanger introduction of a third alter, Jack Lockey. Despite Moon Knight Season 1 ending with a cliffhanger mid-credits scene, Marvel Studios and Disney+ have not yet ordered a follow-up season. In a recent interview with at the opening of the Epic Universe park, Slater shared the two things that need to happen before a second season can even begin to be discussed or developed. 'Talk to Kevin Feige. Talk to Oscar Isaac. I think the ball's really in their court,' Slater explained. 'It's as much or as little Moon Knight as Oscar wants to do. Kevin's the guy with the master plan, and I think when he comes up with a way to really incorporate Moon Knight into there . . . It's my hope that we're gonna see him again, but I'm as curious as the rest of you guys.' Moon Knight was well-received by critics and was a viewership success, with FlixPatrol noting that the MCU entry was the tenth most-streamed series on Disney+ in 2022. Given these statistics, MCU fans have long suspected that Isaac would be brought back as the Fist of Khonshu in either Moon Knight Season 2 or one of the many upcoming crossover movies. However, Isaac's name was absent from the first Avengers: Doomsday cast announcement, casting doubt over any immediate MCU return for the actor. With Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirming that more Doomsday cast members will be announced in the future, fans will have to wait to see if Isaac's Moon Knight will be seen again before the conclusion of the Multiverse Saga in 2027. Moon Knight is streaming on Disney+. First reported by Lee Freitag on SuperHeroHype. Charlie Cox Wasn't a Fan of a DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN Episode That Everyone Else Loved — GeekTyrant
In a recent chat with The Playlist, Daredevil: Born Again star Charlie Cox opened up about his unexpected reaction to one of the show's most talked-about episodes, and how his perspective didn't exactly align with the audience's. Cox explained: 'We shot that before the strike. That was part of the original, and just for my money, I wasn't into it,' referring to the fifth episode of the series, the one where Matt Murdock finds himself trapped during a tense bank heist. 'I didn't like it. It was my least favorite of the episodes, and I kind of pushed back against it as much as I felt was possible. I said, 'I don't believe in a bank heist in 2025. That feels like a 1970s game. Too much technology these days for that to work.' And also, I didn't think the actual device used for the theft was sophisticated enough." As you know, Born Again went through major behind-the-scenes changes during its production. Originally developed with a completely different creative team, the show was retooled mid-production, with The Punisher alum Dario Scardapane stepping in as showrunner and Moon Knight 's Aaron Moorhead and Justin Benson taking over directing duties. Many scenes were rewritten, some were reshot, but that fifth episode stayed untouched. Ironically, the episode Cox pushed back on ended up being a hit with fans and critics alike, and Cox has heard the same from plenty of others. He added: "I really pushed back on the episode, and yet I hear from so many people that they love that episode. So, it just goes to show you just don't know. It's so subjective. Everyone's taste is different. 'And I've heard that that episode is one of the highest-rated. Internally, when they do their ratings, it's one of the highest-rated Disney shows that they've had." In the end, it just goes to show that what may feel off to the people making the show, can sometimes click perfectly with the audience.
