In a fierce all-Egyptian final, World No. 1 Mostafa Asal secured the men's title after a hard-fought battle against World No. 2 Ali Farag, with a final score of 11-6, 11-7, 9-11, 9-11, 11-5. On the women's side, Nouran Gohar, also ranked World No. 1, claimed her third consecutive El Gouna International Squash Open title, defeating World No. 5 Amina Orfi in four games: 9-11, 11-7, 11-6, 11-7.
