NEET MDS 2025: NBEMS announces revised cut-off scores after lowering qualifying percentiles
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced revised cut-off marks for the NEET MDS 2025 examination after lowering the qualifying percentiles. The board said that there is no change in the NEET MDS rank list published along with the results. 'Candidature is purely provisional, subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria as mentioned in the NEET-MDS 2025 Information Bulletin and verification of Face ID/Biometric wherever required. Panjab University invites online applications for admission to MDS
The Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh has invited online applications for admission to Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) at Dr Harvansh Singh Judge Institute of Dental Sciences & Hospital. The prospectus for admission to the MDS first-year course for the session 2025–2026 is available on the official website of the PU dental institute. The candidates can apply online at The MDS course will have 17 seats in six specialties. Candidates must submit their information online to generate a login ID and password, followed by payment of the registration fee through online mode by July 4. The provisional merit list of eligible candidates and the provisional seat allotment list for the first round of counselling will be displayed by evening on July 6 on the institute's website and notice board at Admission to the MDS course is open to candidates who have qualified NEET-MDS 2025 and meet the eligibility conditions outlined in the official NEET-MDS 2025 Information Bulletin. Admission will be conducted by the admission committee constituted by the PU and qualifying NEET-MDS 2025 alone does not ensure admission; eligibility will be determined based on merit, required documents, and university regulations. Candidates who surrender their seat will not be eligible for further MDS counselling in the same academic year. Additionally, PwD candidates will be considered under the 5 per cent reservation quota as per DCI norms.
