The decision was taken following a Health Ministry letter stating that the minimum qualifying percentiles for each category (General, SC/ST/OBC, and UR-PWD) have been lowered by 19.863 percentiles.

NBEMS announced the NEET MDS result on May 15, 2025.
The board said that there is no change in the NEET MDS rank list published along with the results.
'Candidature is purely provisional, subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria as mentioned in the NEET-MDS 2025 Information Bulletin and verification of Face ID/Biometric wherever required. Candidates are advised to remain in touch with the website of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) www.mcc.nic.in for the latest information related to the counseling,' it added.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the DNB June 2025 final theory exam results. Candidates can check their results at The board has also released the tentative dates for DNB Final Practical Exam June 2025. The practical exams are set to be held from August 26 to October 17. The DNB June 2025 final theory exam was held in a hybrid mode on June 25, 26, 27 and 28. Candidates who have failed to qualify the DNB Final Theory Examination can seek web-links to access the digital copies of their answer scripts by paying Rs 100 (plus GST@18%) per question paper. The fee can be paid online through NBEMS website. Request for providing the same can be made through the Communication Web Portal of NBEMS, within seven days of declaration of theory result. 'Requests received after the prescribed window shall not be entertained,' NBEMS said. There is also a provision for re-evaluation of unassessed answers only, in a rare event of an answers being wrongly marked as not attempted by the assessor. The request for re-evaluation of an unassessed answers can be made through the Communication Web Portal of NBEMS within 10 calendar days of the declaration of theory result. An administrative fee of Rs 500 per paper will be charged for the same and can be paid online through NBEMS website. Candidates will be able to download their DNB Final Practical Exam June 2025 admit cards from their online exit examination portal (OEEP) account as and when DNB Final Practical centres are notified and admit cards are uploaded on OEEP. The practical centres notified by NBEMS can be readily seen under the link – NBEMS said. NEET UG Round 2 Counselling Schedule 2025: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will close the reporting/joining window for admission to Undergraduate (UG) medical programs through the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) on August 22, 2025. Students can check the round 1 counselling schedule on the official website of the MCC, The allotted institutes will verify the candidates' data on August 23, 2025. NEET UG Round1 Counselling 2025: Important Documents For Round 1 Reporting Candidates who have been allotted seats and will be joining/reporting to their college for admission are required to bring the following formalities: They must bring the Allotment letter-downloaded from the MCC website. Carry their personal, academic documents in original form along with their photocopies. They must make sure to report within the stipulated time mentioned in the schedule. While the updated schedule for round 2 counselling registration has not been shared, students can expect it to be released on August 24, 2025. The committee oversees the NEET UG counselling process for MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing seats under the AIQ, as well as seats in central and deemed universities, the Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS), and in AIIMS and JIPMER.
