The one major downside you'll have to consider is the absence of Dolby Vision, which is a shame if you're a big fan of HDR movies. Plus, it has some incredible brightness, which works well in tamping down reflections. In our testing it hit 476 nits in standard content and 1,166 nits in HDR. While these numbers pale in comparison to Mini-LED TVs, these are still pretty good for an OLED — especially one that's in the middle of its lineup. Tizen OS is also one of my personal favorite TV interfaces. Other users might disagree, but it's seen some massive changes in the last year. It's packed with tons of free channels to enjoy, some of the best cloud gaming services, and streamlined settings menus. Samsung has also committed to updating its TV OS for up to seven years, which means the S90D will feel good as new all the way into 2031. Take it from me, if you're in the market for a sporty OLED with exceptional picture performance at an unbeatable price, the Samsung S90D is the one to go with. But don't wait, as this Beat Buy deal won't last for long.
