Naya's heartwarming success story at age eight

All professionals involved in her care have delivered exceptional support, underpinned by expert leadership and consistent, compassionate has made exceptional progress in her speech therapy. Once communicating with fragmented and underdeveloped language, she can now express her thoughts and needs in complete sentences—and is working towards fluency in three languages. Najla, Speech Therapist at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, shared her pride in Naya's accomplishments, noting that her journey demonstrates what is possible with dedication and tailored occupational therapy, Naya has attained full independence. Tasks that once posed significant challenges are now performed with ease, enabling her to participate in daily life like any other child. Anas, Occupational Therapist, described her transformation as truly rewarding and a reflection of Naya's determination and in physical therapy, Naya has shown immense improvement in her balance and posture, overcoming a history of toe-walking. Karim, Physical Therapist, praised her as a true warrior for her resilience and Naya thrives at Al Bateen Academy – Aldar, actively participating in school life without the support of a shadow teacher. Her seamless integration into the classroom reflects her hard work, the strength of the interventions she received, and the unwavering support surrounding family has been a vital source of strength throughout her journey. Her mother, Mrs Lina, expressed joy at witnessing Naya's growth, crediting her achievements to determination and the exceptional care provided by the Rehabilitation Centre. Her father added that Naya's story proves that with faith, hard work, and the right support, anything is possible. UAE's camels shine on 2nd day of Al Bashayer festival
MUSCAT, FEB 11 The UAE's 'Hemloulah', 'Nawyed', 'Al Nader' and 'Najla' snatched the top rounds of the category to win the cups, guns and cars on the second day of the Al Bashayer Camel Festival on Tuesday. 'Al Madinah', owned by Oman's Said bin Salim al Jadaili, won the fifth car at the 18th Al Bashayer Festival for Purebred Arabian Camel Racing 2025, which continues for six days at Al Bashayer Square in the Wilayat of Adam from February 10 to 15. As many as 5,320 camels are taking part from Oman and GCC, competing in 84 rounds for valuable prizes including 20 cars, three daggers, three guns, seven cups and the golden and silver swords. The first day, February 10, was for the 'Hagayeg' category, two years old, for 4 km. Nineteen races will be in the morning with cash prizes for the top ten. In the afternoon, there were 8 main races with cars, a cup, and a gun as prizes for the winner and cash prizes for the top 10. The second day, February 11, was for the 'Lagaya' category, three years old, for 5 km divided into 15 races in the morning with a cash prize for the top 10. Seven main races were held in the afternoon, with five cars, two cups and a gun for the winners and cash prizes up to 10th place. The third day, February 12, will be for the 'Yathaa' category, 4 years old, for a 6 km race. Eleven races will be in the morning with cash prizes for the top 10. Four main races will be in the afternoon, and the winners will receive four cars, two cups, and a gun, in addition to the cash prizes for the top ten.
