Kate Middleton's Exiting Staff Fuels Royal Feud With Meghan Markle Amid Reconciliation Talks

Did 's former assistant add salt to the injury by unfollowing ? The royal staffer has reportedly ended her 15-year watch with the Princess of Wales, but not without pulling some controversial stunts involving the actress on her way out. Kate Middleton is reportedly on a mission to restore harmony and peace between her husband, Prince William, and his estranged brother, Prince Harry. Kate Middleton's Ex-Assistant Extends The Unfollowing Favor To Meghan Markle's Inner Circle Natasha Archer drew the curtains on her career as the Princess of Wales' assistant and famous unofficial stylist, and she instantly made some changes to her Instagram account by going public. She had worked with Kate for nearly two decades and was privy to her personal affairs while maintaining utmost secrecy. Opening up her Instagram was not the only new thing she did; she also went on an unfollowing spree, targeting Meghan and some of her close friends who ended up on her following list over the years. Natasha also unfollowed Meghan's "As Ever" official page after having followed it some weeks ago. The unfollowing axe struck a page connected to Meghan's hair colorist, Kadi Lee. She also unfollowed fashion blogs that followed Kate and Meghan's style and created content out of them. PEOPLE shared that her Instagram bio also received an update, as she added "Luxury Consultancy" to the section and included a link to a website that will debut soon. Natasha Archer's Journey With The Princess Of Wales Began 15 Years Ago Natasha entered the royal family when she was appointed as a personal assistant to the couple in 2010, before transitioning into a primary member of Kate's team. She reportedly played a significant role in transforming Kate's wardrobe from ordinary fashion to an elevated aesthetic that ended up on everyone's mood boards. The former assistant helped curate her outfits for official events within the U.K., international outings, and even personal celebrations. She married her sweetheart, Chris Jackson, a royal photographer who worked for Getty Images, in 2017. Two years later, she was honored with the Royal Victorian Order for her indelible service and loyalty to the royal family. Natasha earned a promotion in 2022, which elevated her to the role of senior private executive assistant to the mother of three and her husband. She has now left the royal service to begin her private consultancy firm. Kate Middleton Reportedly Wants Bygones To Be Bygones Natasha's unfollowing spree may or may not be a reflection of that situation in the palace, although The Blast shared that Kate was gearing up to help the brother bury the hatchet no matter what it takes. The Princess of Wales is reportedly risking upsetting her husband with her decision, but she is done watching from the sidelines and genuinely wants to foster harmony this time. She has allegedly met privately with King Charles to set a reconciliation plan in motion as the King himself has had enough of the feud and "wants Harry back in the fold before it's too late." The Duke of Sussex also shares the same sentiment and is actually eager to make peace before the clock runs out. The princess reportedly knows that the brothers will miss out on so many memories if they do not make amends now. The King reportedly views Kate as the glue that holds the family together and the key to making his dream of a united family a reality. Even though Williams disagrees with the idea, Charles reportedly believes Kate will be able to convince him. King Charles And Prince Harry's Camps Seen In Possible Peace Talks Kate's plan may have found fertile ground, as the prospects of reconciliation between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and King Charles are increasingly likely. The Blast noted that the tone in the family has become more optimistic, particularly after King Charles was diagnosed with cancer last year. Meredith Maines, chief of communications to the Sussexes, and the communications secretary to the King, Tobyn Andreae, recently met at the Royal Over-Seas League in London. This reported encounter is speculated to be an initial move towards repairing the sour relationship between Harry and the King. Sources suggest that, although there was no formal agenda, the gathering's casual nature allowed both sides to discuss various topics. Although the specific initiator of the meeting remains unclear, the insiders believed that King Charles supported the idea. The King has always expressed love for both of his sons and remains open to further discussions whenever schedules permit. According to a source, while there is still a long way to go, the opening of communication after years of silence has sparked hope for better relations between father and son. While the meeting did not have an official agenda, the conversation reportedly enabled the two sides to address numerous areas. No one can say for sure who initiated the meeting, but insiders are not ruling out the idea being put forward by King Charles. The King has never ceased showing love to both his sons and is always ready to discuss more at any time schedules allow. As one source revealed, the formal break of silence that followed years of silence has led to optimism of improved relations between the father and son. The chances for the boys and their father to start on a fresh page are reportedly very high, provided there is a willingness to reflect and engage in dialogue from Harry. Prince William Is Seemingly Holding On To His Grudge Amid Reconciliation Talks The peace meeting, which was meant to be secret, unfortunately leaked to the media, and from the bits, Prince William did not seem to be a party to whatever plans his family got going on. The Blast reported that royal analyst Ian Pelham Turner noted that William's body language is significant regarding the whole situation, and it may hinder the progress of healing the rift. According to him: "The important issue is that Prince William and his representatives were not invited. I feel that this was a warning shot across William's bows that Charles is King, not him." He added that it may also be a stark warning that Charles will decide what happens during his reign, not William. However, another commentator, Richard Fitzwilliams, argued that William was fully aware of the meeting, but decided his team would be a no-show. Williams reportedly still harbors a deep distrust for his brother but also understands that his ailing father wants a relationship with his grandchildren and has a gentler temperament compared to the future King. The analyst warned that a united front in the family, including Harry, would upset loyalists of the monarchy; hence, the family should brace itself for backlash. Kate's right hand woman hastily unfollows Meghan's friends on Instagram after making her account public

The Princess of Wales ' former personal assistant and stylist has unfollowed several Instagram accounts after royal fans noticed she was following some of Meghan Markle 's inner circle. Natasha Archer, 37, made her Instagram public after quitting her job at Kensington Palace last week. The stylist and personal assistant worked for the royals for more than 15 years - starting off in a role working for Prince Harry and Prince William before becoming Kate's righthand woman. After making her Instagram public, sleuths found that Natasha was following both Meghan's Instagram account and As Ever, the former royal's new lifestyle brand. Natasha was also following Meghan's make-up artist Daniel Martin, her close friends Abigail Spencer, Delfina Blaquier and Heather Dorak as well as various blogs and fan accounts dedicated to the Duchess of Sussex's fashion. She has since unfollowed dozens of accounts but still follows Sarah Rafferty, Meghan's co-star on Suits and Emma Grede - a recent guest on Meghan's podcast. Natasha is leaving the role to set up her own consultancy company. It is understood the Prince and Princess of Wales have wished Natasha the very best for a new chapter after their years-long association. Natasha began working for the Royal Fami ly in 2010 when she was appointed a personal assistant to both Prince William and Prince Harry. After William's wedding to Kate, Natasha also began reporting to the then-Duchess of Cambridge before becoming the future Queen's most trusted aide. Over the years, she became an integral part of the private household - with Kate seemingly rewarding her loyalty with a promotion last June. The Daily Mail exclusively revealed that Natasha stepped into the role of senior private executive assistant to William and Kate, following reports she personally collected The Princess of Wales from the London Clinic after her abdominal operation earlier this year. After that, the mother-of-two was brought into the innermost circle of trusted friends and family members supporting Kate through her cancer journey. The Princess announced she is in remission from an undisclosed form of cancer last September. Despite her high-profile job, the stylist, 36, has managed to stay mostly out of the spotlight - but still appears to be unwavering in her support of the Princess. Natasha has been such a trusted member of staff that she was one of a select few number of people who visited the Princess of Wales after she gave birth to her three children at the Lindo Wing in London. In July 2013, the stylist was seen entering the hospital to give Kate the blue polka dot Jenny Peckham dress they had chosen for the public appearance after the birth of Prince George, now 11. A source told The Telegraph: 'She was seen arriving at the Lindo Wing following the birth of Prince George with a hanger bag, presumably containing the blue and white polka dot Jenny Packham dress which Kate then wore to give the world its first glimpse of the future King a few hours later.' What's more, the two women both welcomed sons in 2018 - with Kate giving birth to Prince Louis in May and Natasha announcing the arrival of Theo in December. In 2014, she was promoted to the position of Kate's personal stylist and was said to be the mastermind behind the Duchess' wardrobe for the Cambridges' successful tour of Australia. According to Grazia, Natasha was brought in to make Kate's wardrobe look more 'regal' as per the late Queen's request. A source told the fashion magazine: 'Natasha's main role is as a PA, but over the last few months she has assisted Kate as a style adviser. 'Natasha and Kate get on very well. She has always supported and advised Kate - and the Duchess loves Natasha's style, so it seemed like an obvious appointment. Natasha has been helping Kate pick outfits for the [New Zealand and Australia] tour.' At the time, it was reported that Natasha often shopped online for Kate's wardrobe - particularly from ASOS and Topshop. Following the success of the Australia tour, it has been reported that Natasha started encouraging Kate to experiment more with her wardrobe. In 2016, Natasha also joined Kate on her tour of Canada - and was responsible for some of her most glamorous looks from the trip, including a bright red Preen cocktail gown. In 2019, the mother-of-three was highly praised for her style during her historic royal tour to Pakistan along with her husband Prince William, but her 'secret weapon' stylist Natasha Archer had a large part to play. It was Natasha who introduced Kate to much-loved Pakistani designer Maheen Khan after finding her designs at O'Nitaa, in London's Chelsea Green, and getting in touch with the 74-year-old to create some custom-made pieces for the royal. In 2017, Natasha married Chris Jackson - who is the royal photographer for Getty. As part of his role, Natasha's husband regularly accompanies the King and Queen and the Prince and Princess of Wales on official royal engagements. The happy couple chose photographer Matt Porteous - who has ties to the Prince and Princess of Wales - to capture their special day. The photographer has also captured several key occasions for the Prince and Princess of Wales over the years - including their Mother's Day post last year and Prince George's third birthday. As well as curating Kate's wardrobe and helping with her diary, it was reported that Archer, a Jenny Packham devotee, was ordered to spruce up Prince William's 'estate agent' style. For the tour of Canada, the then 29-year-old stylist – known to friends as Tash – added linen jackets, and sweaters from J Crew, Jaeger and Reiss, her favourite high street label. Natasha reportedly assured the Prince, then 34, that she was merely helping him to 'edit' and 'freshen' his wardrobe. In 2018, Natasha was invited to become a member of the Royal Victorian Order in recognition of her services to the Royal Family.

Fans Think Kate Middleton Already Has a Replacement Lined up for a New Stylist & It's an Old College Pal

Chances are, if you're a royal fan, you've heard of the name Natasha Archer. For well over a decade, she was Catherine, Princess of Wales's Personal Assistant and stylist. Not only was she a loyal member of Catherine, also known as Kate Middleton's, team, but she and Kate became fast friends. However, in a shocking turn of events, People revealed earlier this week that Archer is leaving Kensington Palace. Now, people are wondering who Kate's new stylist will be, and fans think they already know who it will be. The musings of Archer's replacement originally came from Royal Fashion Daily, and Hello Magazine reported even more details on the theory. But if you need a summary: fans believe Archer's successor could be Virginia Chadwyck-Healey. More from SheKnows Jennifer Aniston's Hypnotist BF's Previous Dating Life Has Raised Eyebrows Virginia Chadwyck-Healey, also known as Ginnie, is a fashion guru, to put it lightly. She worked at British Vogue for 12 years, launched VCH Style in 2018, and as of 2025, she also takes on luxe clients. According to her website, she's all about sustainability, which is a huge cornerstone of Kate's fashion (cough, cough, the re-wears)! Her website even says, 'Ginnie promotes sustainable shopping habits and ethical awareness when recommending a fashion purchase.' Now, what fans may not know is that she and Kate originally met at the University of St Andrews while they were both studying Art History, per the Standard. She was invited to the royal wedding in 2011, and worked as Kate's stylist before! It's true, even Archer was on maternity leave in 2019, Kate tapped in Chadwyck-Healey to help with her public ensembles. So a pal she's worked with before? It seems like a very good possibility. Plus, insiders told DailyMail via The Standard in 2019 that: 'Ginnie is Catherine's secret weapon. She has made a big difference to the Duchess's wardrobe for public engagements and has helped give her a whole new sense of confidence. Catherine has been really impressed and is very grateful for her help.' While we eagerly await to see who Kate's new stylist is, our eyes are on Chadwyck-Healey. How Natasha Archer transformed Kate's style: Loyal assistant turned the Princess from 'girl next door' to regal Queen in waiting by encouraging her to embrace a more polished look

Kate, the Princess of Wales, is now lauded as a fashion icon, but it was her 'secret weapon' stylist, Natasha Archer, who built her now-iconic wardrobe fit for a modern-day Princess. Employed in 2010 as a personal assistant to both Kate and Prince William, Natasha is reportedly stepping down after spending more than 15 years as Kate's right-hand woman to launch her own consultancy. Before marrying Prince William, Kate's everyday look was very much typical of a woman in her 20s in the mid-2000s with low-rise jeans and tie-front cardigans, and even when she becamse a working royal she was known for championing high street brands - famously wearing a Zara dress the day after her wedding. However, 'Tash', as she is affectionately known was waiting in the wings to make her mark on Kate's wardrobe - the first hint of her influence being when she was seen entering the Lindo Wing to give Kate the blue polka dot Jenny Peckham dress they had chosen for the public appearance after the birth of Prince George. A year later in 2014, she was promoted to the position of Kate's personal stylist, reportedly after a request from the late Queen to make the then Duchess of Cambridge's wardrobe 'more regal'. High street brands were swapped for haute couture, while still maintaining the Princess's style and preference for practicality, and it's said that she saw off the ever-present wedges and staple nude midi-heels and encouraged Kate to show off more of her long legs. Hits attributed to Natasha that year include an ice blue, fairytale Jenny Packham slit dress, teamed with pink 'Agata' sandals from L.K. Bennett, that Kate wore to the Wildlife Photography Awards in October 2014 and a sheer black Temperley London dress with a nude lining to an Action on Addiction gala in the same month. Hits attributed to Natasha that year include an ice blue, fairytale Jenny Packham slit dress, which Kate wore to the Natural History Museum in 2014 It was also the year when Kate and William undertook their first major overseas royal tour, visiting Australia and New Zealand for three weeks, accompanied by Prince George. Following the success of the Australia tour, it was reported that Natasha started encouraging Kate to experiment more with her wardrobe. A source told Grazia: 'Natasha's main role is as a PA, but over the last few months she has assisted Kate as a style adviser. 'Natasha and Kate get on very well. She has always supported and advised Kate - and the Duchess loves Natasha's style, so it seemed like an obvious appointment. Natasha has been helping Kate pick outfits for the [New Zealand and Australia] tour.' At the time, it was reported that Natasha often shopped online for Kate's wardrobe - particularly from ASOS and Topshop, but the royal's wardrobe has certainly been evolving away from the high street. For instance, in 2012 the Princess wore a £180 yellow Jaeger dress and £145 LK Bennett shoes on a trip to the Solomon Islands - abiding by the late Queen's motto that 'you are there, and you need to be seen'. But after Natasha's makeover she adopted a more upmarket version of the same look, optiong for a butter yellow bespoke Emilia Wickstead coat dress, costing £1,200, for her visit to Bhutan in 2016. Kate wore a sheer black Temperley London dress with a nude lining to an Action on Addiction gala in October 2013 Loyal to her brands, the Princess wore a similar dress by Emilia Wickstead for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations, which she repeated for a Buckingham Palace garden party in May. Earlier this week, the future Queen wore a Dior two-piece of the state visit of President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte, proving her confersion to designer brands is complete William, who was once cruelly accused of dressing like an estate agent by a style magazine, also received a fashion glow up by Natasha - starting with hiding his white Asics trainers which he wore for more than a decade. For the couple's tour of Canada, Natasha incorporated linen jackets and sweaters from J Crew, Jaeger and Reiss, her favourite high street label, to his working wardrobe. Sources told the Mail on Sunday's diary editor Charlotte Griffiths that the makeover process was done 'tactfully' with the stylist assuring the Prince that she was merely helping him to 'edit' and 'freshen' his wardrobe. And this is exactly what Natasha heled Kate achieve during Kate and William's historic royal tour of Pakistan in 2019. It was Natasha who introduced Kate to much-loved Pakistani designer Maheen Khan after finding her designs at O'Nitaa, in London 's Chelsea Green, and getting in touch with the then 74-year-old to create some custom-made pieces for the royal. Speaking exclusively to FEMAIL, she said: 'Natasha picked up a lot of outfits for approval, including the teal outfit before she went back and asked O'Nitaa for my contact details. 'Then Natasha approached me and asked if I had the teal in a smaller size. It was lucky that I had one in stock as I don't believe in machine embroidery.' Maheen, who has been described Coco Chanel of the East, was responsible for three of the duchess's ensembles during the tour. She created a bespoke blue kurta and trousers, hand embroidered in white silk and pearls, for the duchess to wear when visiting Islamabad's Model College. 'It was quite simple as I was given a brief but allowed the freedom to create what I thought would be appropriate,' she said. 'They didn't give me any firm directions - they gave me a brief and left it to me. I chose an existing graphic for the neckline embroidery. 'I was very taken with her wedding dress: it was simple and beautiful. She has a long swan-like neck, like a ballerina. So, when they asked me to do a bespoke outfit, I instinctively created a neckline like her wedding dress.' The royal teamed an emerald green tunic coat by British favourite Catherine Walker with a pair of slim-white trousers by Maheen when meeting Prime Minister Imran Khan. And, for a visit to Lahore's famed Badshahi Mosque, she chose a teal silk chiffon kaftan, matching slim trousers and dupatta, embroidered with gold silk phulkari, or flower work, to resemble the hills of Northern Pakistan. 'The periwinkle blue had hit all the right spots. And the teal chiffon, with its soft flowing silhouette was so perfect for the mosque visit,' Maheen said. In a royal fashion first Natasha even persuaded William to wear a traditional sherwani to a reception in Pakistan during their royal tour. Natasha was honored with the Royal Victorian Order for her dedicated service to the royal household and in 2022, she was promoted to senior private executive assistant. Sources say Natasha, who is married to Royal photographer Chris Jackson, has been dedicated to Kate and has been seen assisting her as she travelled to and from hospital appointments. As the stylist moves on to her next challenge, it is likely she will get a glowing reference from the Prince and Princess of Wales.
