Falcons undrafted free agent rushes for 43-yard TD vs. Titans

After an uneventful first half, the Atlanta Falcons have turned things around in the second half of their preseason matchup against the Tennessee Titans. Not only did the offense break off a huge touchdown run, but the kickoff team also managed to force a fumble on the ensuing kickoff. Undrafted free agent Nate Carter bounced back from a slow night to break off the 43-yard touchdown in the third quarter. Tight end Teagan Quitoriano recovered the fumble and wide receiver Chris Blair hauled in a 53-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Easton Stick. Just like that, the Falcons tied the game with the Titans at 20. The team scored 17 points in the third quarter after putting up just six points in the first half. Michigan State football RB Nate Carter signs NFL deal with Atlanta Falcons Michigan State running back Nate Carter was one of a few Spartans to officially move on to the NFL on Saturday Nate's headed to the ATL‼️✍️ — Michigan State Football (@MSU_Football) April 27, 2025 Michigan State running back Nate Carter will continue his football career at the next level. Carter officially signed with the Atlanta Falcons on Saturday night as an undrafted free agent. He will have the opportunity to make the Falcons roster for the 2025 NFL season. Carter transferred to Michigan State after two seasons at UConn. While with the Huskies, Carter ran for 983 yards and three touchdowns on only 190 rushing attempts. Carter started for the Spartans at running back for most of his two seasons in East Lansing, Mich. Former Michigan State RB announces book release

Former Michigan State running back Nate Carter has been a staple of East Lansing for the last two seasons. Transferring to MSU from UConn, Carter was a stabilizing force during the transition from Mel Tucker to Jonathan Smith. Now, after two seasons with the Spartans, Carter has made the decision to move on into the next phase of his life and football career. Carter took to X to share what is up next for his life, now that he is out of college. Carter has announced that he has written a book and it is set to be released in 2025. That is about the extent of the details that he released on his personal social media, but did mention that he will be releasing more in the near future. Spartan fans will be sure to support one of their own as he moves on to his next adventure.
