Steelers HC Mike Tomlin reveals goals for RB Kaleb Johnson in preseason finale
Steelers rookie RB Kaleb Johnson more than lived up to expectations against the Buccaneers last Saturday — and HC Mike Tomlin shared what's next for the third-rounder's development. Following Monday's practice, reporters asked Tomlin what he hopes to see out of Johnson heading into the preseason finale — and the long-time Steelers head coach kept it simple: it's all about comfort level. "I just want to continue to see him get more comfortable in this environment," Tomlin said. "I think the more comfortable he gets, the less fuel he burns in anticipation, if you will, the more his talents are going to show. I think you saw it from game one to game two. It's reasonable to expect that to continue." Comparing Johnson's preseason Week 1 outing to Week 2, it's easy to see the third-round rookie looked far more comfortable in his second appearance — where his fantastic vision and cuts were on full display throughout his 50-yard rushing performance last Saturday. Fans will have one last opportunity to catch Johnson in preseason action when the Steelers head to Charlotte to take on the Carolina Panthers on Thursday, August 21, at 7:00 p.m. ET — which fans can learn more about here. Why Are Chrissy Teigen and Courtney Stodden Feuding in 2025?
The Courtney Stodden and Chrissy Teigen saga might seem like ancient history, but this is one 2011 celebrity feud that is still alive and well. Over the weekend, Courtney Stodden defended Chrissy Teigen's upcoming appearance on With Love, Meghan to her followers while simultaneously calling her out for failing to respond to a DM. So, there goes that truce, I guess? The Courtney-Chrissy feud began almost 15 years ago, when Courtney, then 16, married 50-year-old actor Doug Hutchison. Their relationship was the subject of intense tabloid scrutiny, both because of their age difference and, in part, because of Courtney's image as a teenage pin-up girl. It was at that time, in 2011, when Chrissy was a major online presence, making a name for herself as a funny, if a bit mean, culture commentator, and she reportedly targeted Courtney quite a bit. 'She wouldn't just publicly tweet about wanting me to take 'a dirt nap,' but would DM me and tell me to kill myself. Things like, 'I can't wait for you to die.'' Courtney recounted to The Daily Beast in a 2021 interview. (She and Doug split in 2017 and their divorce was finalized in 2020.) 'Some of the worst treatment I got from women, and we're not going to get anywhere if we keep holding each other back.' After Courtney's interview went viral, Chrissy publicly apologized on Twitter, writing in part, 'I'm mortified and sad at who I used to be. I was an insecure, attention seeking troll.' To Courtney, she wrote, 'I'm so sorry, Courtney. I hope you can heal now knowing how deeply sorry I am.' This fraught history is why, when it was announced that Chrissy would be a guest on Meghan Markle's Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, fans started asking Courtney to share her thoughts. 'I do not believe people should be bullying Chrissy,' she said in an Instagram Reel shared on Saturday, Aug. 16. 'Have we learned anything? Two wrongs do not make a right.' She continued, saying that she defended Chrissy and Meghan in an Instagram story, which Chrissy apparently watched, prompting Courtney to reach out. 'I decide[d] to reach out to Chrissy on DM and tell her that I'm here if she ever wants to talk and I do not believe people should be bullying her and she shouldn't be listening to anyone who's bullying her,' Courtney said. 'She has completely ignored me.' Courtney has continued to call out Chrissy for her silence on Instagram, but the super model has yet to respond.
