Love Island winner hits out as he returns to normal job after reality TV fame
Love Island winner Nathan Massey has hit out at the government over his taxes as he says, 'We are all really getting our pants pulled down and all I can do is laugh' Nathan Massey, winner of the second series of Love Island, has hit out at the government and revealed that he has returned to his normal job following his fame. The 33-year-old star met his now wife Cara De La Hoyde, on the ITV show, and the couple quickly shot to fame. They have since welcomed two children together, seven-year-old Freddie and five-year-old Delilah, and work as social media influencers, however, Nathan also works as a carpenter. In a recent Instagram rant, Nathan revealed that he has now returned to his previous job as a carpenter when his work online is slow, however, despite his efforts to make more money, he is being taxed a 'worrying' amount. It comes after Princess Andre says she's 'independent' from parents as she breaks silence after Katie Price row. After a visit from his accountant, Nathan shared his frustrations with his followers, where he said 'all I can do is laugh'. The father of two captioned the post: Rant alert …. We are all really getting our pants pulled down and all I can do is laugh … worrying times'. The reality star went on to say: "It's just hit me how much tax that we are paying. Like, don't get me wrong, we do okay, we're not multi-millionaires by any stretch of the imagination, I wish I were, but we're not, we do OK. "I'm back on the tools, I work on the tools when I can, when we're not doing our bits on social media, etc, and it's just hit me how much we are getting taxed, and the VAT and everything we've got to pay is worrying." Nathan added: "Genuinely, how is anyone in this day and age supposed to get ahead of the game? It's like, catch up, catch up, catch up. You know, it's really a dark timing in in our history. I think it's wowed me, I'm not gonna lie." Fans were quick to comment on the post and praise Nathan for being so relatable. One person wrote: 'Glad someone's talking out about this!', while another added: 'Couldn't agree more this country has lost its way and what pressure it brings on families … my grandad would be turning in his grave to know what is going on in the Uk right now ..' A third wrote: 'I feel your pain, absolute joke for the working class', while another said: 'It's utterly ridiculous, isn't it! I'm pretty sure after the amount of tax, corporation tax and vat we pay, people that don't work are better off, our whole system is backwards'. Cara and Nathan appeared on the show in 2016, 10 whole seasons ago and Cara recently told The Mirror that it has changed so much since her day. She said: 'It's changed so much. I don't think I could handle it today - it's more ruthless and scary now.'

Last November, Cara shut down her business still owing £25,000 to the tax man and in £90,000 worth of debt. Love Island star reveals ‘raunchy' scenes that viewers aren't being shown on screen
A LOVE Island star has revealed the 'raunchy' scenes that viewers aren't being shown on screen. Cara De La Hoyde Massey won the hit dating show in 2016, alongside husband Nathan. 6 6 6 And amid the chaos of this current series, and Yasmin's very sexual comments, OG Islanders like Cara have been saying just how much it reminds them of when they were on Love Island, nearly a decade ago. From chats about threesomes to secret snogs, and one boy's confession that he'd slept with a whole women's football team, the 2025 series has been far from dull. And 34-year-old Cara confessed that there will be a lot going on that we as the viewers don't see at home. Speaking on behalf of Genting Casino, she said: 'The things that came out in our series, I don't even think I can say! So on this series, there must be so much more they're saying that they're not even showing us. 'In fact, there are things they probably can't show us, because it's just a group of young people talking and having a laugh. We'd all do the same, wouldn't we?' Cara also spoke about the pressure the Islanders will be feeling, and how it feels like you've been in the villa for a lot longer than you actually have. She said: 'It's so hard because obviously I've been in there and the public haven't been in there, so they don't understand what it's like. 'Once you're coupled up with someone, you kind of feel safe. I think this year especially, they want to be coupled up because it makes them feel safer as they're just letting people go left, right and centre.' She also said Meg's behaviour towards Malisha in the Dejon love triangle 'wasn't right,' but defended her by adding: 'I understand why people's reactions are sometimes so big because you're just in a bubble. 'We watch the show for an hour and then go away and we have our normal life, but for everyone in there, that is literally all that consumes their day. They've got no contact with the outside world and can't move away from these situations.' And things are only about to get even more dramatic in the villa, with four new bombshells heading in and going straight for a saucy sleepover. Lobe Island's four new bombshells have already left the villa in the series' latest chaotic twist - but they've not gone far, and they're not alone. The Sun can reveal the newbies have taken four OG's with them to the Casa Amor villa for a sleepover. Last summer, the same twist saw Joey Essex and Grace Jackson hook up in steamy scenes - and producers are hoping for more of the same from 2025's Islanders. Whilst we are keeping shtum on which of the OGs are selected for the saucy stopover, we can reveal that their choices leave their partners' losing their heads back at the main villa. A source said: 'The saucy sleepover worked brilliantly last year and bosses felt now was the perfect time to deploy the same cheeky twist. 'Dejon and Meg have just made up, Tommy and Megan and Conor and Emily are wavering, and everyone else is scrambling for a connection. 'The bombshells aren't playing it safe though and their choices make for brilliant TV.' NEW BOMBSHELLS The Sun earlier revealed the four new bombshells who are fresh on Love Island The first is Giorgio Russo, who is football champion Alessia Russo 's brother. The half Italian hunk is known as Gio and, just like his England Women 's and Arsenal champion sis, he's big into his fitness. Yet his villa entrance may well mean he will miss Alessia's stint in the Women's Euro's 2025, which kicks off on July 2. The other lad is Will Means, who will be more than a rival for Gio in the gym. He competes in Hyrox world championship races and has even done an Ironman. The boys are joined by two stunning girls. The Sun had already revealed that gorgeous blonde Poppy Harrison had flown out to Mallorca ready for romance, and now she's in the villa. She has set foot in the ITV2 matchmaking show compound after only calling time on her latest relationship last week. Last but not least is Caprice Alexandra, who looks to be another travel bunny. Her Instagram is filled with curvy bikini snaps from the likes of Mauritius and Morocco. 6 6 6
