Kate Middleton's go-to lip product is in the Debenhams sale for less than £20

Princess Kate was spotted using a Clarins lip product during an appearance at Wimbledon in 2019, and now it's on sale at Debenhams for £7 cheaper than Boots Known for her effortlessly elegant makeup, the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, favours simple yet stunning cosmetic choices, including a surprisingly affordable lip favourite. The Clarins Lip Perfector, a top seller loved by Kate, is currently a steal at Debenhams with a price cut to £18.40 from its original price of £23 - an offer even more enticing considering it retails for £25 at Boots. This glossy balm promises both nourishment and a natural pout enhancement. Infused with wild mango and shea butters for maximum lip hydration, plus rice bran oil, peptides, and a lip highlighter complex, this must-have beauty product comes in a variety of 18 shades. One particular hue, Rose Shimmer, was famously worn by Kate during Wimbledon in 2019. Garnering a stellar 4.6-star rating from over a thousand reviews, one shopper gushed, "The colour is perfect, it's creamy and best of all not sticky - makes my lips feel super soft and hydrated." Another satisfied customer shared, "It gives just the right amount of shine and feels super comfortable on the lips. Definitely a must-have in my makeup bag.", reports the Manchester Evening News. Receiving further praise, a shopper said, "It's the perfect balance of hydration, colour and shine. The texture is super smooth - not sticky at all - and it leaves my lips feeling soft and nourished thanks to the shea butter and natural oils." Nonetheless, despite the overwhelming love, the product isn't without its critics, as some consumers expressed discontent: "Extremely difficult to apply, uneven, peculiar smell and non lasting. I will never buy this again." If you're looking for another deal, the Biossance Pro Peptide Lip Perfector is now on offer at LookFantastic for £11.25. Packed with peptides, hyaluronic acid, and vitamin E, it promises to deliver smoother, plumper lips. Alternatively, the Naturium Phyto-Glow Lip Balm is up for grabs at Space NK for £12. Whether you go clear or tinted, this balm aims to make your lips feel irresistibly silky and smooth.

We test three tinted lip balms that will make you want to throw away your lipstick

They add a hint of colour and loads of moisture and you can reapply without a trip to the bathroom. BUDGET 5 Naturium Phyto-Glow Lip Balm stays put for hours Credit: Supplied Naturium Phyto-Glow Lip Balm, £12 for 10ml, I have to confess that this is my absolute go to. I've pretty much got one in every handbag. The formula is thick enough that it stays put for hours, but it doesn't feel heavy or gloopy, and the colour is the perfect level of pigment that tints lips and makes me feel put together without adding too much colour that I've got to worry about reapplying. I accidentally put one through the washer a couple of weeks ago after leaving it in my trouser pocket, and was over the moon that it came out unharmed. MID-RANGE 5 Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm tastes good enough to eat Credit: Supplied Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm, £23 for 15g, If you're on Instagram, I would bet good money you've seen one of these balms on your feed. The cute pastel packaging is major eye candy, and the flavours are good enough to eat – the pale pink 'Birthday Cake' is my niece's favourite, but I prefer the deep-red 'Cherry' flavour. It has a silicone applicator tip that feels soothing on lips and helps evenly distribute the product, which is helpful as it's on the more pigmented side. The little-known shopping gem where you can get Body Shop lip balms for a quid, super comfy pillows & even pet bargains It wears off faster than the Naturium, which means I have to reapply more regularly (and use up the tube sooner) but otherwise, I can't pick any flaws. LUXURY 5 Lancome Lip Idole Butterglow Tinted Lip Balm feels silky on the lips Credit: Supplied Lancome Lip Idole Butterglow Tinted Lip Balm, £34 for 3g, I love the bullet format of this balm – and the super luxe packaging – you can immediately see what you're paying for, which makes parting with the cash slightly more justifiable. How much colour payoff you get differs with each shade – the darker ones are more pigmented, which is to be expected. I love how silky it feels on my lips, and the glossy shine isn't at all sticky which is always a worry. My mum is super fussy about lip products but I've got her hooked too. When your hay fever symptoms could really be signs of cancer PICK OF THE WEEK 5 Ariana Grande has released her latest fragrance, R.E.M. Cherry Eclipse Credit: Supplied WHETHER it's food, beauty or fashion, cherries have been in the spotlight for much of this year, and that doesn't look to be changing. Pop star Ariana Grande's latest fragrance, R.E.M. Cherry Eclipse, £45 for 50ml EDP smells far more grown up than the barbie-pink campaign imagery would lead you to believe. Notes of black cherry, jasmine, marshmallow, amber and musk, make a romantic, cosy scent. See Unlock even more award-winning articles as The Sun launches brand new membership programme - Sun Club.
