Woman who died for two minutes says she saw our ‘true home'
Hiyah Zaidi Published July 30, 2025 10:09am Link is copied Comments No one really knows what happens when we die. Some say we see a white light, others – pure nothingness. But Nicole Meeuws says she saw something different when she flatlined for two minutes, claiming she experienced 'the original home from which we all come from'. So, what did she see? (Picture: Nicole Meeuws/Facebook) When the 49-year-old artist from Greece underwent emergency surgery having sadly lost her baby, she says her body gave out. Nicole told Need To Know she felt herself pulled into a tunnel of light, something like a corridor that moved with her. She claims the air had weight and temperature, and sounded like music made of water – fluid, pulsing, and familiar (Picture: Nicole Meeuws/Facebook) But that wasn't all. Nicole said that she entered a glowing space filled with silver, soft violet, and deep, radiant blue. Everything around her pulsed gently like a heartbeat, and that's when she saw two blue-skinned beings with large indigo eyes, like those in the film Avatar, sitting on thrones that shimmered with energy (Picture: Nicole Meeuws/Facebook) She said: 'Their eyes were large and indigo, filled with kindness and recognition. They looked human, but had gentle gills on their cheeks. I remember seeing their fish-like tails, rather than legs, covered in scales. They were both male and female intertwined and didn't speak in words – but I understood everything they had to tell me' (Picture: Nicole Meeuws/Facebook) Nicole said they made her feel at home and told her, telepathically, that life is actually an illusion and we only start living when we die. She said: 'I felt more known than I had ever felt in my life; I didn't want to leave. I understood this place, this feeling, and I truly believe it was the original home from which we all come from. I learned that death is not an end, it's a return to our actual lives' (Picture: Nicole Meeuws/Facebook) Nicole believes that she wasn't meant to have children and her gift was to bring this memory of the other side back to Earth and help others. After a few minutes, but what she says felt like a lifetime, she was 'zapped' back into her physical body. Her husband, a specialist doctor, was with her but at first she could not speak – only emit a high-pitched, unfamiliar sound she compared to dolphin clicks, which she said was coming through her, describing it as overwhelming and completely beyond her control (Picture: Nicole Meeuws/Facebook) Now, she says she often has visions of the blue beings who greeted her on the other side, and believes they are from the Apkallu interdimensional tribe, which are non-alien creatures, also know as Demigods, that are said to have given civilisation to mankind. Nicole says they gave her a mission to spread the message that love is stronger than death. She said: 'Love will always win; it's where we came from. We're all one big family, regardless of boundaries, cultures, religion and politics. Everything that exists came from the same spark. The more we hold onto fear, hate and lies, the easier it is to control humanity. To create heaven on Earth, we must spend each day spreading love. I'm no longer afraid of death because I know what's waiting for me on the other side. It was a beginning, not an end' (Picture: Nicole Meeuws/Facebook) Your free newsletter guide to the best London has on offer, from drinks deals to restaurant reviews.

Horrifying moment TikToker, 28, is shot dead while livestreaming to her fans - after shouting out name of her 'killer'
A TikToker has been shot dead while livestreaming to her followers. Keyla Andreina González Mercado was allegedly blasted in the head by her friend's partner while they drank alcohol together. The victim appeared to tease the suspect, named Manuel Andrés Álava Lázaro, before he allegedly pulled the trigger. In the livestreamed footage, Keyla told him: 'Shoot me twice, I beg you, but later, let me get drunk.' The 28-year-old added: 'You'll hit me in the head twice, you'll kill me in one go, I don't want to suffer, two in the head.' Her friend was heard saying 'no, no' in the background. Keyla appeared to shout the suspect's name before he allegedly fired twice. Keyla's friend reportedly stopped the livestream and went to her family's house to inform them of the shooting. The suspect fled the scene on his motorbike and still remains at large, as reported by NeedToKnow. According to reports, he has four prior convictions for robbery. The alleged murder took place at the victim's home in Guayaquil, Ecuador, on Saturday 26 July. One family member said Keyla was known as a joker, and that was why she was apparently teasing him to shoot her. They added: 'We only knew him by sight; we never spoke with him. 'People who know him told us he has a teardrop tattoo on his face and a rifle on his neck.' Those types of tattoos are typically associated with gang and prison culture. Keyla was the youngest of three sisters and liked to be called 'Chubby', according to her Facebook profile, where she also described her relationship status as 'complicated'. In her last TikTok post, the digital creator said: 'My goal is clear: to continue being a good woman, to walk hand in hand with God, to be a simple and humble woman without harming anyone.' She also described herself as a woman with a 'beautiful soul, a strong character, a mischievous look, a pure heart, and an unforgettable smile'. The investigation into her alleged murder is ongoing. On 13 May this year, beauty influencer Valeria Márquez, 23, was shot dead during a live broadcast for her 105,000 TikTok fans. Reports said two people arrived outside her salon in Zapopan, Mexico, pretending to be deliverymen. The suspected shooter told her he had an 'expensive gift' for her before opening fire. Her online audience was left stunned by the live events, with many doubting it was real. Valeria was killed on the spot, and her body was taken to a nearby morgue to be identified by family members. An investigation into her death is still ongoing.

However, despite the dangers, Aleira, who is originally from Venezuela, isn't ready to quit. "I find it challenging when it comes to buying clothes, as nothing fits," she told NeedToKnow. It's been a major investment – enhancements, treatments and healthy food. "A huge commitment. Honestly, my body should be insured." As well as spending £1 million on her waist whittling mission, Aleira has also spent £471,000 on cosmetic surgeries, including seven boob jobs, four nose jobs and veneers. Advertisement Most read in Fabulous Aleira previously claimed that all woman "should have plastic surgery to be truly beautiful." And despite the health risks, Aleira has encouraged others to try and get a waist like hers. The 45-second trick to get a snatched waist that Love Island star swears by At the start of her waist cinching journey, Aleira wore a corset six hours a day, but she has now ramped this up to 23 hours. Wearing a corset comes with a myriad of issues, such as breathing difficulties, organ compression and muscle atrophy. Advertisement The model has now launched her own brand of shapewear, to help people achieve her "one of a kind look". "My shapewear line will change many lives" she said. What are the dangers of wearing corsets? Wearing corsets, a fashion practice that dates back centuries, can pose significant medical risks despite their aesthetic appeal. One of the primary concerns is the potential for internal organ damage. Corsets, especially when tightly laced, can compress the ribs and exert pressure on internal organs such as the liver, stomach, and intestines. This compression can lead to displacement and deformation of these organs, potentially causing digestive issues, reduced lung capacity, and impaired circulation. Breathing difficulties are another serious risk associated with corset use. The constriction of the rib cage can limit the expansion of the lungs, leading to shallow breathing and decreased oxygen intake. Over time, this can result in respiratory problems and reduced stamina. In extreme cases, prolonged use of tightly laced corsets can lead to conditions like atelectasis, where parts of the lungs collapse due to inadequate ventilation. Additionally, corsets can affect the musculoskeletal system. The constant pressure and altered posture imposed by a corset can weaken core muscles, leading to muscle atrophy and decreased strength. This can result in long-term back pain and poor posture once the corset is removed. There is also a risk of nerve compression, which can lead to numbness, tingling, and in severe cases, nerve damage. While modern corsets are often designed to be less restrictive than their historical counterparts, the potential health risks remain. It is essential for individuals to be aware of these risks and to use corsets sparingly and with caution. Consulting with medical professionals before incorporating corsets into regular wear can help mitigate some of these risks and ensure that any adverse effects are promptly addressed. "It's a gentle product with incredible results, created by me and inspired by the story of my own body." Aleria added: "I don't miss my old figure at all. Advertisement "People react in different ways. "Some follow me, some feel nervous, and others admire me or see my body as something crazy." She added that men "can't get enough" of her "exotic" figure.
