Horrifying moment TikToker, 28, is shot dead while livestreaming to her fans - after shouting out name of her 'killer'

Daily Mail29-07-2025
A TikToker has been shot dead while livestreaming to her followers.
Keyla Andreina González Mercado was allegedly blasted in the head by her friend's partner while they drank alcohol together.
The victim appeared to tease the suspect, named Manuel Andrés Álava Lázaro, before he allegedly pulled the trigger.
In the livestreamed footage, Keyla told him: 'Shoot me twice, I beg you, but later, let me get drunk.'
The 28-year-old added: 'You'll hit me in the head twice, you'll kill me in one go, I don't want to suffer, two in the head.'
Her friend was heard saying 'no, no' in the background.
Keyla appeared to shout the suspect's name before he allegedly fired twice.
Keyla's friend reportedly stopped the livestream and went to her family's house to inform them of the shooting.
The suspect fled the scene on his motorbike and still remains at large, as reported by NeedToKnow.
According to reports, he has four prior convictions for robbery.
The alleged murder took place at the victim's home in Guayaquil, Ecuador, on Saturday 26 July.
One family member said Keyla was known as a joker, and that was why she was apparently teasing him to shoot her.
They added: 'We only knew him by sight; we never spoke with him.
'People who know him told us he has a teardrop tattoo on his face and a rifle on his neck.'
Those types of tattoos are typically associated with gang and prison culture.
Keyla was the youngest of three sisters and liked to be called 'Chubby', according to her Facebook profile, where she also described her relationship status as 'complicated'.
In her last TikTok post, the digital creator said: 'My goal is clear: to continue being a good woman, to walk hand in hand with God, to be a simple and humble woman without harming anyone.'
She also described herself as a woman with a 'beautiful soul, a strong character, a mischievous look, a pure heart, and an unforgettable smile'.
The investigation into her alleged murder is ongoing.
On 13 May this year, beauty influencer Valeria Márquez, 23, was shot dead during a live broadcast for her 105,000 TikTok fans.
Reports said two people arrived outside her salon in Zapopan, Mexico, pretending to be deliverymen.
The suspected shooter told her he had an 'expensive gift' for her before opening fire.
Her online audience was left stunned by the live events, with many doubting it was real.
Valeria was killed on the spot, and her body was taken to a nearby morgue to be identified by family members.
An investigation into her death is still ongoing.

Mystery as Irish fashion designer, 33, found dead on yacht in New York

Mystery surrounds the death of a jet-setting Irish woman found unresponsive on a yacht. Martha Nolan-O'Slatarra, 33, fell unconcious on a boat named Ripple, docked at the well-heeled Montauk Yacht Club, Long Island in the early hours of Tuesday morning. A 911 call was placed by her partner after he discovered her unconscious on board. One witness claimed he ran naked screaming 'that's my girlfriend' as he tried to get help from other boaters. Passers-by attempted CPR before emergency responders arrived Martha died at the scene. Police have said an autopsy conducted on the Carlow native's body 'did not show evidence of violence'. A Suffolk County police spokesperson said a preliminary examination of Nolan-O'Slattara's remains was 'inconclusive' and that a cause of death is 'pending further examination.' 'We dreamed big together, laughed harder than anyone else could understand and built so much from nothing,' business partner Dylan Grace said on Instagram. 'I'm truly blessed and grateful to have had you in my life.' Speaking to the New York Post, a member of the Montauk Yacht Club said that Nolan-O'Slatarra was a well-liked member of the upscale community and regulars at the dock. 'She was well known in the community. She was very friendly, always smiling,' the source told the paper. Martha had been living in Manhattan showing off a luxury lifestyle of private jets and helicopters over the city on TikTok. She moved to New York from Ireland at the age of 26, to realise her dreams of becoming a fashion designer. As her career took off, Martha said: ' I always wanted to start my own company and I always wanted to build a brand. I've been saying that since I was 18 or 19. 'Carlow is a small town. I was the small-town girl who needed to get out to achieve her big dreams… I still have all my Carlow friends. They are still my crew.' She founded East x East, a resortwear label known for its coastal elegance and had a successful pop-up in Montauk shortly before her death. Irish police said that the loss of Ms Nolan-O'Slattara was 'an absolutely devastating blow to the family'. 'A young, beautiful, very talented, creative woman. Our thoughts and our prayers are with the family, and I can't comment any further than than that, other than to say it is a devastating loss for the family and for the community in Carlow.'
