It's a wrap for Riddhima Kapoor's Bollywood debut project: 'Firsts are always special'
Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, daughter of late actor Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, will soon be making her Bollywood debut. In the latest update, she has concluded the shoot of her first film in Shimla. As she embarks on a new journey as an actor, Riddhima used social media to reveal how special this first is to her. Taking to her Instagram stories, the diva penned, "Firsts are always special, Because it's those very 'firsts' that form the blueprint of learnings we will carry for the rest of our lives." Sharing her experience of being a part of the process of making her debut project, tentatively titled "DKS", Riddhima added, "For 52 days, over 200 people came together to tell this heartwarming, funny, and beautiful film. We plotted, we danced, we laugh-cried and cried-laughed, and I cannot wait for you to join in the celebrations when this film hits your screens. #DKS." Kerala Software Engineer Goes For Fat Removal Surgery, Ends Up Losing Fingers And Toes
Last Updated: A 31-year-old software engineer suffered severe complications after a cosmetic procedure at an unauthorised clinic led to the amputation of four fingers and five toes A 31-year-old software engineer is facing life-altering consequences after a routine cosmetic procedure at a private beauty clinic in the capital resulted in a severe infection, ultimately leading to the amputation of several fingers and toes. MS Neetu, a resident of Sreevaraham Himam in Muttathara, had approached the clinic for abdominal fat removal. Following the procedure, performed on February 22, she developed critical complications. Within days, Neetu was admitted to a private hospital's intensive care unit, where she spent 21 days on a ventilator. Doctors were forced to amputate four fingers from her left hand and five toes from her left foot to save her life. Allegations And Lodging Complaint Following the incident, a formal complaint was lodged with the Police Commissioner. Thumba Police have registered a case against 'Cosmetic Hospital', an unauthorised beauty clinic operating in Arashumoot, Kulathur, Kazhakoottam. The accused has been named as Dr Shenal Sashankan. According to Neetu's family, she had been persuaded to undergo the procedure after being told that numerous film stars and celebrities had availed themselves of similar treatments at the same clinic. Neetu's Medical Deterioration Neetu was discharged on February 23, just a day after surgery. By the afternoon, she began experiencing extreme fatigue and contacted the clinic. The attending doctor advised her to consume salted porridge and water. Her condition deteriorated overnight, and she was rushed back to the clinic on February 24 before being shifted to a private hospital. There, she was diagnosed with a heart attack and severe infection in her internal organs. Further investigations revealed a blocked main artery in her left leg, leading to severely reduced blood flow and impaired mobility. Four fingers and five toes were ultimately amputated. Her family claims to have already spent over Rs 10 lakh on medical expenses. Unlicensed Facility Shut Down Kazhakoottam Police have confirmed that the beauty clinic in question was operating without a valid medical licence. A notice was served and the establishment has since been shut down. Assistant Commissioner JK Dinil has requested the District Medical Officer to convene a medical board to investigate the incident and submit a comprehensive report. First Published:

She wrote on Instagram Stories, 'Was engaged on this day in 1979 (two hearts emoji) time flies.' The image brought back memories of a time when their love story was just beginning. Bollywood's evergreen pair Neetu and Rishi Kapoor were a beloved on-screen pair in the 1970s and 1980s.
