Princess Charlotte's 10th Birthday Photo Had a Surprising Royal First Thanks to Kate Middleton
Princess Charlotte celebrated a big birthday on Friday, May 2, as she turned 10 years old. Her mom, Kate Middleton, marked the young royal's milestone by capturing a photo of Charlotte sporting a camo jacket and grinning outdoors. But, unlike previous royal birthday portraits, Charlotte's had a key difference. Notably, the photo was captured on an iPhone. Princess Kate took the photo herself during a visit to Cumbria in the northwest of England earlier this year, per SkyNews. Prince William and Kate release annual birthday photos for each of their three children — Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis — but the couple has never used an iPhone to mark a birthday milestone for any of the young royals until now. The Princess of Wales — who previously described herself as an "enthusiastic amateur photographer" — has been spotted using a variety of different cameras through the years. According to The Independent, the Fujifilm X-T3 is one of her favorites, and she was seen holding the camera in an image shared to promote the 2020 book Hold Still: A Portrait of Our Nation. Princess Kate has also used Canon cameras, including to photograph Holocaust survivors with their grandchildren for a portrait exhibition. In a version of his portrait shared on the Prince and Princess of Wales' Instagram Stories, George sported a friendship-style bracelet — possibly linked to his evening out at Taylor Swift's London concert in June 2024. Princess Charlotte and Prince William were also in attendance at the Wembley Stadium show, where the three royals snapped a selfie with the singer and also met her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, who praised "superstar" Charlotte as "the highlight" of the night on his New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast. Amazon's Wondery podcast unit trims jobs
Feb 28 (Reuters) - Amazon (AMZN.O), opens new tab cut "a small number" of jobs at its Wondery podcast unit, known for "Dr. Death" and "Business Wars," the company said in a statement to Reuters on Friday. Amazon purchased the company in 2020 for a reported $300 million and last year signed a 3-year $100 million deal for rights to "New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce," a podcast featuring the brothers of National Football League fame. "We regularly review our team structures to ensure we're best set up to serve customers," said Amazon spokesperson Alice Zou. "Following a recent review, we've identified a small number of roles in the Wondery organization that are no longer required." A person familiar with the matter who spoke to Reuters on condition of anonymity said both the content and advertising teams were affected and that it appeared to involve "dozens and dozens" of workers. Zou said the number was lower without providing details. Wondery was founded in 2016 and has produced several podcasts that were adapted for streaming television, such as "The Shrink Next Door." Amazon most recently cut jobs among its communications staff last month in an effort to reduce costs and what CEO Andy Jassy has called an abundance of bureaucracy. Jassy has slashed tens of thousands of corporate jobs since taking the helm in July 2021. Last year he announced a goal to reorganize business units in order to reduce the ratio of managers to 'individual contributors' by the end of this year's first quarter. Amazon shares were trading down less than 1% at $208.35.

Travis Kelce has made countless headlines because of his relationship with mega-star Taylor Swift. Travis Kelce Says Tough Super Bowl Loss Is a 'Hard Reality' as He Apologizes to Kansas City Chiefs Fans
Travis Kelce is opening up about his Super Bowl defeat. During the latest episode of his New Heights with Jason & Travis Kelce podcast, released Wednesday, Feb. 12, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end reflected on his brutal 40-22 loss against the Philadelphia Eagles on Feb. 9. "It just wasn't our day," Travis, 35, told his brother Jason Kelce, 37. "I couldn't find a lick of momentum. I'm kicking myself for some of the tiny, tiny decisions I made on the field." He continued, "I wasn't the best leader that I could be in motivating my guys and keeping my guys calm, cool, collected. "I put a lot of that on myself as the guy that's been in the building for 12 years and seen a lot of football and actually seen a situation just like this in the Super Bowl," he said. Travis added, "It's a tough pill to swallow. It's a hard reality, man. I love my teammates, I love my coaches. Chiefs Kingdom, I'm sorry for how it ended." Trying to encourage his brother, Jason gushed about Travis being "one of the best players to play the NFL" with multiple records, adding, "I know you probably don't care that much about it now." During Sunday's game, Travis made his first catch in the third quarter for eight yards. CBS Sports noted that the athlete has had at least 90 catches in seven seasons in a row — so going catch-less in a first half is rare for Travis. As well as his family, Travis' girlfriend Taylor Swift was in attendance to support him at Sunday's big game. Swift, 35, who wore a white Saint Laurent blazer, bedazzled shorts by Monday Denim and knee-high Paris Texas boots to the game, was photographed looking stressed prior to halftime.
