LeBron James Reveals the Nike LeBron 23
Summary LeBron Jamesis in his 40s and remains one of the NBA's most potent talents. The King is gearing up for his 23rd season in the league, one that will see a reignited (and in excellent shape) Luka Dončić and the rest of the Los Angeles Lakers aim for a championship alongside James. In preparation for this, he has shared a workout video, highlighting not only his age-defying athleticism, but a new performance shoe as well. TheNike LeBron 23has been spotted for the first time on none other than James' feet himself. An all-black weartest sample is worn by the superstar throughout his latest Instagram post, offering a rough idea of what to expect from the new design. Our limited first look at the low-top sees it sport new tooling that features an extended midsole in the shape of James' crown logo at the lateral. No branding is visible, however, the retail version of the model is likely to feature nods to the Swoosh. At the time of writing, neither LeBron James nor Nike Basketball have indicated when the LeBron 23 will be making its debut. Based on previous years, you can expect the new silhouette to be unveiled around the start of the NBA season in October, with a global launch taking place shortly thereafter. Brionna Jones makes the fourth All-Star appearance of her WNBA career, chosen as an injury replacement this year for Mercury's Satou Sabally. She's leading the Atlanta Dream in rebounding with 7.8 per game while adding 13.8 PPG as their active post player. Rocking the Nike KD 18 throughout the season, she debuts the 'All-Star' colorway for the first time. The Nike KD 18 is the latest signature sneaker from Houston Rockets' Kevin Durant and one of the more popular Nike Basketball models out at the moment. While the KD 18 begins the roll out to the public, this colorway will remain an exclusive to the All-Star participants for the time being. Brionna Jones' Nike KD 18 'All-Star' Per @SoleRetriever coverage, Brionna Jones laced up an unreleased colorway of the Nike KD 18. The shoes appear in a predominantly black look, based on the classic construction of the Nike Air Terra Humara. The shoes are black throughout the uppers with yellow-to-red gradient throughout the mesh underlayer. The back heel and the ankle collar feature a similar gradient complete with flames, the theme throughout Nike's WNBA All-Star sneakers. As for a public release, we're not sure whether Nike will drop the collection to the public, but previous All-Star releases in the NBA have suggested their could be a roll-out for this series. The Nike KD 18 is currently available for $160 as new colorways begin to arrive, but we'll have to keep these on the back burner for now. Dating back to her senior season at UConn and now her rookie year in the WNBA, Bueckers has been rocking with the Nike GT Cut 3 on the court, one of Nike's most popular basketball silhouettes at the moment. Recently, the brand teased an upcoming sneaker silhouette with the cryptic caption, 'Buckets incoming.' Paige Bueckers and the Nike GT Cut 4 Fans immediately drew connections to Paige Bueckers given her 'Buckets' nickname, guessing that Nike was set to release her own signature model. While the inclinations were only partially true, Buckers stole the show with her footwear at the WNBA All-Star Game open practice session. It turns out Bueckers was tasked with debuting the all-new Nike GT Cut 4 silhouette for the first time ever to the public. The shoes appeared in a blue and purple gradient colorway, shocking with their futuristic and molded uppers. The shoes feature an aggressive look and are unlike anything Nike is putting out at the moment. While the shoes are expected to land sometime during the spring season of 2026, Paige Bueckers will undoubtedly be rocking these during the All-Star Game and perhaps the rest of the season. Nike Basketball recently unveiled an entire slate of upcoming releases throughout the next year via their Nike SNKRS app. All their most popular performance models, include Kevin Durant's Nike KD 18, will see a number of unique upcoming releases in terms of their colorways and themes. Up next for Durant, we'll see yet another homage to the DMV area with confirmation of an upcoming Nike KD 18 'International Blue.' Houston Rockets' Kevin Durant hails from the Washington D.C. area and he's always been active in showing support for the towns that brought him up. He reps a massive 'MARYLAND' tattoo across his back along with a Washington Nationals 'W' logo on his stomach, constantly showing love through his signature sneaker releases as well. There isn't another sneaker as iconic to the DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia) area as the Nike Air Foamposite. The region adopted the trend as their own with celebrity sneakerheads like rapper Wale always putting the Foamposite above all else. Kevin Durant will now offer a new take on one of his all-time personal favorite pairs of sneakers. Nike KD 18 'International Blue' The Nike KD 18 will arrive in an International Blue/Multi-Color-Black in paying homage to the OG 'Royal' Nike Air Foamposite. The uppers of the sneaker, inspired by the Nike Terra Humara, will feature metallic foamposite material extending through the toebox, midsole, and heel. The shoes will also feature an icy translucent outsole and a mesh underlay, both characteristics of the Foamposite silhouette. Both the medial and lateral Nike logos along with the 'KD' tongue logo appear in an iridescent hue to further accent the contrasting black aspects. The laces will feature a blue speckle through the middle to finish the look for what is shaping up to be one of the more unique Nike KD 18 releases we've seen thus far. The release dates have been disputed between Fall 2025 and Spring 2026, so we're still awaiting a solid drop date and official word from Nike. The Muppet's rich blue fur is nodded to throughout the shoe while its special laces (not used during the game) favor a shaggy material. From there, the tongue nods to chocolate chip cookies with its brown-on-brown exterior. At the time of writing, neither Caitlin Clark nor Nike Basketball have indicated that this 'Cookie Monster' PE of the Kobe 6 Protro will ever hit retail shelves.
