Nissan Launches All-New Patrol in Egypt and Africa
Nissan launched the seventh generation of the legendary Nissan Patrol at a ceremony held today on Egypt's North Coast, a stunning stretch along the Mediterranean Sea. The all-new Nissan Patrol embodies a new chapter in Nissan's SUV design, with a distinctive look that balances superior capability with sophistication and luxury. Combining a rich heritage of over 70 years of excellence with advanced aesthetics, the latest model is a textbook interpretation of Nissan's global design philosophy that is rooted in the concepts of 'Daring Presence' and 'Established Prestige'. As Nissan Africa president Jordi Vila explained to the assembled media and Nissan's partners across Egypt, 'The Nissan Patrol is arriving in Africa, starting with Egypt, as we continue our brand promise of excellence, elegance, and premium craftsmanship. A new era of refined luxury begins here.' The All-new Nissan Patrol, he said, was a vehicle that would perform outstandingly irrespective of the terrain or whether it was used for daily commuting or the adventure of a lifetime. Its arrival will reinforce the leadership of the Nissan brand in Egypt and support our broader product strategy across Africa. Nissan Egypt Managing Director Mohamed Abdelsamad agreed, saying the all-new Patrol offered a unique and powerful automotive solution. All-new Engines The seventh-generation Nissan Patrol is the most powerful version of the SUV to date, setting new benchmarks in performance, responsiveness, and efficiency. It offers two engine options to accommodate different driving styles: The first is a new twin-turbocharged V6 engine that delivers 425 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque, representing a 7% increase in power and a 25% boost in torque compared to the previous V8 engine. The engine is also 24% more fuel efficient, reflecting Nissan's commitment to innovative powertrain development, prioritizing performance and sustainability. The second option is a naturally aspirated 3.8-litre V6 engine, producing 316 horsepower and 386 Nm of torque. The new engine boasts several key upgrades, including refined throttle response, heat-reflective coatings for improved thermal efficiency, a heat-resistant turbocharger for high-stress driving, and a high-performance oil pump to ensure consistent lubrication across rugged terrain. These enhancements optimize airflow and combustion as well as reduce environmental impact. Strong and Elegant Exterior Design The all-new Patrol features a commanding and elegant exterior design. Nissan's iconic V-Motion grille is broader and seamlessly integrated into the bodywork. The bold front is flanked by the distinctive new double C-shaped adaptive LED headlights for optimal visibility, while the striking full-width light bar further accentuates the bold exterior evolution. The Patrol rides on 22-inch alloy wheels, offering both aesthetic appeal and ground-gripping performance on rough terrain.
