My boyfriend was a CIA agent... it came with a slew of glamorous perks but also some VERY strict rules

A woman who dated a CIA agent has laid bare the glamorous perks that came with being in a relationship with a government official - as well as the strict rules she had to follow. Nyla Caselli, 23, based in California, said she met the man, named James, after he approached her at the airport and asked to take her to dinner. From that night on, Nyla says she was whisked into a lifestyle of private jets, chauffeurs, designer handbags, and spontaneous bank transfers, including a $40,000 payment simply because 'he missed her.' She was soon introduced to 'the fast life' of elite hotels and whirlwind weekends abroad... but dating a CIA agent also came with its downsides. James had intense regulations when it came to privacy, including no social media, no photos, and no personal questions. Nyla explained exclusively to the Daily Mail, 'From day one, James had very strict boundaries. No photos - ever. No tagging him in anything. 'I wasn't even allowed to post when or where we were if he was nearby. I had to turn off my phone sometimes.' Nyla recalled James using 'encrypted phones,' and doing 'security checks' whenever he'd enter a public building. 'He used a phone with no traceable apps, and sometimes would only communicate on burner numbers,' she continued. 'We'd enter restaurants through back doors. He always sat facing the exits. Even in hotels, he'd sweep the room for cameras. 'He once made me leave my bag in a separate car just to "be safe."' But he also loved to spoil her. He whisked her away on trips to places like Morocco and Switzerland and moved her into a $10,000-a-month penthouse in downtown Los Angeles. At first, James kept his line of work a secret from Nyla and she believed he was just a 'rich businessman.' She explained, 'At the time, I didn't question it. But now I realize I was basically living in a spy movie. 'He said [all the rules] was for "operational security," and at the time, I just thought he was a privacy freak… but it turns out, he was living a double life. 'I thought maybe he was in tech or finance, but deep down, something always felt… off.' After three months of his secretive behavior, security details, and constant travel, Nyla said she jokingly asked him, 'What are you, CIA?' and he went 'stone cold.' That's when he dropped the bombshell that he did indeed work for the US government. While she first thought he was joking, Nyla said that suddenly, 'everything made sense.' And knowing the truth about his profession only added an extra 'thrill' to their relationship. 'It was like living in a fantasy. There were spontaneous first-class trips, dinners where the room got cleared out just for us, and this underlying feeling that no one could touch me. It was definitely a high,' she dished. But with the life of luxury also came a fierce 'loneliness' as she had to tell lies to her own friends and couldn't share anything on social media. 'I was a ghost in my own life sometimes - living the dream, but unable to wake anyone else up to it,' she recalled. 'I wasn't able to post or share anything about my life with the world and I had to hide everything. 'There were nights I didn't know where he was or when he'd come back. It was glamorous, but it was also extremely isolating.' Though things ended a year in after James was reassigned overseas, Nyla said she learned a lot from their relationship. And in the end, she concluded that she'll always remember James with affection. 'Now I'm hyper-aware of my surroundings. He taught me to never assume I'm not being watched, and honestly, in today's world, that advice has aged very well,' she reflected.

My boyfriend was a CIA agent: He paid the rent for my luxury penthouse and gave me a bank account loaded with $250,000 for emergencies

A 23-year-old model has revealed the shock moment she discovered she was dating a CIA agent, who gifted her with lavish designer items and a luxury penthouse. Nyla Caselli, who is currently based in California, told Daily Mail Australia last Wednesday she got her 'Pretty Woman moment' with a man she called James. In the height of their romance, her mystery man spoiled her with weekly shopping sprees, surprise bank transfers, and a $250,000 'emergency bank account'. 'I met James a week after ending things with a cheating ex. We met at the airport of all places,' she said. 'James stopped me and told me how beautiful I was, and invited me out for dinner.' From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Nyla went on to say James took her to a 'very exclusive restaurant' for their first date, and she was impressed to see everyone at the ritzy joint appeared to know him. 'At the end of the date, he ordered a car to take me home. The next morning, James picked me up to go shopping and bought me a Chanel bag,' she said. At this point, the brunette beauty said she had no idea he was a CIA agent, believing he was just a 'rich businessman' and a 'perfect gentleman'. 'James travelled a lot for work and owned a few businesses. We would meet in different countries—LA, Morocco, Switzerland,' Nyla said. 'He would fly out to see me or, if he was abroad, would pay for me to fly out to wherever he was. 'James was always very private—no photos, no social media and no probing questions about his personal life.' Despite the constant secrecy, Nyla said she didn't mind not knowing much about her beau because he kept her happy with all his lavish gifts. 'He loved spending money on me. He once transferred $40,000 to my bank account just because he missed me. I didn't need answers—it was a win-win,' she said. For the year the pair dated, Nyla said she felt like she was 'living in a movie'. James moved her into a $10,000-a-month penthouse in downtown Los Angeles and had no financial limits when it came to designer gifts and luxury getaways. She also claimed he paid for her to have a breast augmentation. It wasn't until three months into their relationship Nyla discovered the truth about who James was. 'He said it so casually—"I work for the CIA, that's why I can't post photos or stay in one place too long,"' she recounted, adding he broke the news over dinner one night. 'I thought he was joking at first, but what he said made sense. 'James had an encrypted phone, bodyguards, private drivers and would do security checks before we entered hotels.' While she was stunned by the revelation, Nyla said she quickly got on board with it and felt she 'never had to worry about anything' when she was with James. 'There were always two sides to our trips—the romance and the sense that something bigger was happening. It was exciting,' she said. 'So when he told me the truth, I didn't ask questions. It didn't feel like it was any of my business. So we just kept things going as we had.' Unfortunately, Nyla and James ended things after a year of dating when he was reassigned overseas. But the model said she looks back on her time with her ex 'fondly' and claims their relationship had a long-lasting impact on her self-confidence.

I was thrown out of a $4K a night Airbnb for taking bikini photos — the hosts accused me of ‘filming porn'

They deemed it NSFV (not safe for vacation). A Los Angeles model and OnlyFans star claims she was booted from her expensive Airbnb rental because the host mistakenly thought she was filming X-rated videos. 'What happened was really messed up,' Nyla Caselli, 23, told Jam Press of getting jettisoned. Advertisement The incident occurred in March while the influencer was vacationing in Curacao, an island in the Caribbean known for its gorgeous beaches. She was reportedly staying with friends at a scenic bungalow that cost her a cool $4,000 per night. 6 'I was literally in a bikini. It wasn't anything crazy,' Caselli protested. Jam Press/@nylacaselli 6 Caselli reportedly rakes in $1.6 million per year. Jam Press/@nylacaselli Advertisement 6 'I was taking pictures of myself with my friends on the balcony,' she said. Jam Press/@nylacaselli 'I'd planned the holiday ages ago and I was looking forward to staying in the villa with a pool and it was really expensive,' the curvy Californian said. The Post reached out to Airbnb for comment. The bombshell, who frequently shares sultry swimsuit snaps for her over 960,000 followers on Instagram, was enamored with the plush digs and decided to take some photos of herself and friends in bikinis on the balcony. Jam Press/@nylacaselli However, Caselli's photo-op didn't sit well with the host, who woke her up shortly thereafter and told her to leave because they thought she was filming explicit content. 'A few hours after they left, the Airbnb host came to the room while I was sleeping,' the influencer said. 'They told me they had 'seen what I was doing earlier' and that I had to leave.' 6 Caselli frequently shares saucy shots of herself to her over 900,000 followers on Instagram. Jam Press/@nylacaselli Advertisement Caselli found the accusations ridiculous as she'd only taken non-explicit photos — and not videos — of herself in a swimsuit. 'I was literally in a bikini. It wasn't anything crazy,' protested the model, who tried arguing her case but to no avail. They reportedly didn't even budge when she explained that she had nowhere to go. 'They said it was inappropriate and I was filming porn and I had to go,' said Caselli, who theorized that they might've thought she was 'filming adult content' because her 'boobs are bigger.' 6 'Maybe because my boobs are bigger, they thought I was filming adult content,' Caselli said. Jam Press/@nylacaselli The social media star also thought her exile might've had to do with her online activity. Along with sharing scintillating snaps on Instagram, Caselli is also active on OnlyFans and reportedly rakes in an eyepopping $1.6 million a year across her channels. 'I don't know if they Googled me but the host just didn't want me there at all,' she lamented. A representative from Airbnb explained that Caselli was subsequently offered an alternative accommodation but declined and instead opted to resolve the tiff with the host herself. Advertisement She eventually booked herself a room at the Curaçao Marriott Resort for the remainder of her getaway. 'They greeted me with a blue island drink and made my stay better,' said Caselli. 'It really helped my situation and made me feel better and safer.' Nonetheless, the incident left Caselli anxious about the prospect of choosing an accommodation for her next jaunt. 'I'm planning on going to Italy next but I will definitely be doing my research on rules and where I'm staying,' she said.
