Kardashian-loved make-up artist reveals how to get £210 of beauty products for £55

We ask make-up artist and social media sensation Genevieve Turley about tips, trends and her new OK! Beauty Box – including a way for Mirror readers to get it for under £55 If you like looking at beauty content on Instagram or TikTok, the chances are that you will have seen some of Genevieve Turley's videos. At a time when beauty can seem to mostly be perfectly edited images and unrealistic standards, professional make-up artist Gen's posts are refreshingly hilarious and down-to-earth – and they've drawn attention from A-listers such as Jennifer Aniston and the Kardashians. Gen also worked on the ITV show Katie Piper's Weekend Escape, helping to make over members of the public with inspiring stories to tell, and has just released her own limited-edition edit with OK! Beauty Box, containing 11 of her favourite products – and a huge saving for Mirror readers to be had, too (keep scrolling for an exclusive offer)... How did you get into doing make-up professionally? I changed career in 2018. I had been a burns and plastics nurse in the RAF but make-up had long been a passion of mine, so once I had my daughter in 2017 I knew I wanted to leave the forces and start my own business. I had no idea what I was doing with social media at first, I just knew it was a free marketing tool and it was a great way to get my work out there. What was the turning point in your career? My presence on social media skyrocketed in 2024 when I started to do more comedy skits about make-up. My first one went viral on Instagram and both Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian commented on it. I went from 4,000 followers to 100,000 in weeks. I like to make fun of trends but sometimes there is a serious undertone about the pressure of beauty standards. How would you describe your make-up style? Natural to soft glam. A lot of my professional work has been bridal, so I have plenty of experience with different skin tones, skin types, ages etc. Online, I like to show my audience how to use products, as the beauty world can be very overwhelming. Most women want simple tips to enhance their natural beauty. And what can people expect from your social media accounts? It's a real mishmash. Overall, I like to think my pages are relatable to women aged 35+. It's life on the go as a woman with two young kids and a dog. I review make-up and skincare while sharing tips and tricks, but I also try to bring some fun. Social media can negatively impact a person's headspace, confidence and worthiness. I like to think that on mine, you will feel seen, empowered and upbeat. What's the most ridiculous make-up trend you've seen recently? So many! The blush hacks have gotten out of control. Just whack it on and get on with your day! And putting make-up onto clingfilm so you can splat it on your face in the morning. Wild! Dangerous, too, as young kids are online and this has obvious risks. Not worth the clickbait. What was the most inspirational story you heard from working on Katie Piper's Weekend Escape? There were so many. Michael [Douglas, celeb hair stylist] and I honestly had such a wonderful time with these incredible individuals who all had inspiring stories to share. One that sticks out was a lady whose young son died from type 1 diabetes. I was sitting in the room with tears rolling down my face. His mum had taken him to the GP and they said it was a virus. He could have so easily been saved. Just heartbreaking. What was important to you wh en creating your OK! B eauty Box? I've had so many beauty boxes over the years and always thought, 'What would I put in mine?' So when this happened I was delighted! I wanted great products that will make a big impact. Medik8 C-Tetra Lipid Vitamin C Radiance Serum is a showstopper. The Rodial Blush Drops will also be popular. This box is a great opportunity to try products you may not have heard of or been afraid to splurge on, but with the massive saving (it's worth over £210 but costs £59.99), it takes away the worry. What are your top tips for using the products inside? Just have a play with them, feel the textures, and try different ways of applying them. Make-up and skincare should be a mix of TLC and creative play. I wanted products that were perfect for my 'natural make-up' women. What's a quick and easy make-up trick that not enough people know? Setting spray. Spritz after foundation and then again after adding powder. It helps to bond the make-up so it looks natural and skin-like, but also adds longevity. You can also spritz throughout the day to rehydrate your skin while also refreshing your make-up. What would you pick as your ultimate desert island make-up product? How can you ask me that?! If I have to say just one, it would be the Dr PawPaw Shea Butter Lip Balm from the box because it's so multifunctional. It's great for the lips but also gives a lovely glow to your cheeks, or you can pop it on your brows to add some shape. It's a great all-rounder and handbag essential. Reader offer Get £5 off the limited-edition OK! Beauty Box by Genevieve Turley – worth over £210 – and buy it for £54.99 instead of the usual price of £59.99 while stocks last. ‘I found how to get a £42 Medik8 serum for £5 in a beauty deal that saves over £150'

Genevieve Turley, the make-up artist you've undoubtedly seen all over your Instagram and TikTok feeds, has launched her very own limited-edition beauty box, with huge savings to be had Beauty boxes are a fantastic way to sample new products, replenish your existing favourites or treat someone to a bumper beauty bundle. They often come with massive savings too – and here's a brand new one that offers you incredible products and value for money. OK! Beauty Box has joined forces with make-up artist and social media sensation Genevieve Turley – whose hilarious and down-to-earth videos you've likely seen on your Instagram or TikTok feed – to create her very own limited-edition beauty edit, featuring 11 of her favourite skincare and make-up products from top brands such as Medik8, Rodial and Gatineau. Impressively, 10 of the 11 products inside are full size – including a cult classic Medik8 serum – and the total value comes to over £210, yet the box usually costs £59.99 to purchase. However, there's a way for Mirror readers to save even more. Purchase it now through this link, or by using the code MIRRORGEN at the checkout, and you'll get it for £54.99 instead of £59.99, while stocks last. This means a whopping £155 saving, and means that each of the 11 products inside can be thought of as having a value of £4.99 each. In our exclusive chat with Gen, she said, "I've had so many beauty boxes over the years and always thought, 'What would I put in mine?' So when this happened I was delighted – and prepared! I wanted great products that will make a big impact for women. "This box is a great opportunity to try products you may not have heard of or been afraid to splurge on, but with the massive saving, it takes away that worry." For me, the standout item inside is Medik8 C-Tetra. An absolute cult favourite skincare product and a go-to amongst countless beauty experts (myself included), this is a brilliant, foolproof vitamin C serum that moisturises and brightens the complexion, and has almost 1,500 five-star reviews on the Medik8 website alone. Gen reveals that "it really helped reduce my pigmentation from my second pregnancy". A full-size 30ml bottle (which is what you receive in the box) costs £42 alone, so for an additional £13 you're getting 10 other beauty products alongside it. Other standouts inside include a £39 dewy Rodial blush, a luxe brown eyeliner pencil and "one of [Gen's] favourite products of this year", Gatineau Collagene Expert Hydra Essence. But honestly, there's not a disappointing product in here – everything's incredibly wearable and simple to use, even if you're not a make-up expert. Here's a list of everything you get inside: Medik8 C-Tetra Lipid 7% Vitamin C Radiance Serum - 30ml full-size, worth £42 Rodial Blush Drops in the shade Apricot Sorbet - 15ml full-size, worth £39 Delilah Eye Line Long Wear Retractable Pencil in the shade Twig - 0.312g full-size, worth £23 Pixi EOD Cleansing Oil - 150ml full-size, worth £14 Gatineau Collagene Expert™ Hydra Essence - 30ml travel-size, worth £14 Makeup Revolution Bright Light Highlighter in the shade Radiance Bronze - 3ml full-size, worth £8 Sunkissed Curl & Flex Waterproof Mascara in the shade Black - 10g full-size, worth £5.99 Pippa of London Defining Lip Liner in the shade 601 Gerana - full-size, worth £15 Pippa of London Supermatte Lipstick in the shade 404 Scala - full-size, worth £19 Dr. Paw Paw Shea Butter Lip Balm - 25ml full-size, worth £9.25 Brushworks Dewy Fine Mist Setting Spray - 150ml full-size, worth £6.99 A voucher to redeem for four copies of OK! Magazine - RRP £18.40 However, if you're not a big fan of make-up, this box might not be for you as over half of the products are make-up items. You might be more interested in a skincare-focused box like Lookfantastic's The Skin Renewal Edit, which is valued at £210 but costs £45, or the Boots X Supergoop! Beauty Bag Edit, priced at £44 but worth over £90 (we've reviewed this one here). If you're keen on getting your hands on the OK! Beauty Box by Genevieve Turley, I wouldn't wait, as I predict it will be snapped up quickly.

‘This £8.99 deal saved me £80 on all my handbag beauty essentials'

Lip balm, hand cream, fragrance... Some products are just everyday essentials, ones you use and need everyday, and always carry around with you – and here's how to stock up for under £9 Keys? Check. Phone? Check. Perfume, lip balm, hand cream, powder? Check check check – and check. I don't know about you but I never leave the house without my handbag filled with the beauty essentials I need for the day, ones I use repeatedly time and time again. And I've found a way to stock up on all my favourites for less than £9. OK! Beauty Box's latest box, the Days Out Edit, is a clever selection of all the beauty items you carry around with you and use the most: a lip balm containing SPF 50 (perfect for summer), and luxurious hand cream, a perfume that costs £112 for a full-size bottle, a shine-absorbing powder, and a brush to apply it with. The contents are worth over £90 in total but if you haven't signed up for OK! Beauty Box's monthly subscription service before, you can get the Days Out Edit for just £8.99 – a cool £81 saving. Here's what you'll find inside the box: Hello Sunday The One For Your Lips SPF50 Clear Lip Balm - 10ml full-size, worth £10 Bloom & Blossom Hands Up Age-Defying Hand Cream - 25ml travel-size, worth £12 KAB Cosmetics Translucent Setting Powder - 6g full-size, worth £23 Brushworks No. 6 Double Ended Powder and Buff Brush - full-size, worth £8.99 Sentier Eau De Parfum in the scent Meribel - 10ml travel-size, worth £32 You also get a voucher to redeem for two copies of OK! Magazine, RRP £9.20 If I had to pick a standout product from this box, I'd probably say the Sentier perfume, not just for how much I love the scent – fresh and crisp – but also its value: this 10ml tube usually costs £32 – way more the the cost of the whole box – whereas a full-size 100ml bottle costs a whopping £112. This makes it a great way to try a luxe scent for less, and in a handbag-friendly bottle. In all honesty, though, there's not a single product here that I wouldn't use. I get through lip balms as quick as anything, and I always carry a little hand cream around with me. It's also perfectly curated for summer and hot weather, with the sun protection in the lip balm and the shine-zapping powder. The only thing that you might want to add to make this completely handbag-appropriate is a little make-up bag for the powder and brush, to stop them (and the inside of your bag) from getting dirty. This Charlotte Tilbury Mini Makeup Bag of Dreams, £22, is compact and very luxe-looking, whereas this £5 Bag of Ethics Long Slim Cosmetic Brush Bag from Boots is excellent value.
