Sabrina Carpenter's Pre-Fame Album Mounts An Impressive Comeback
Sabrina Carpenter's Emails I Can't Send reappears on four U.K. charts as she returns to London for ... More her Short n' Sweet Tour. LONDON, ENGLAND - MARCH 01: (EDITORIAL USE ONLY) Sabrina Carpenter performs on stage during The BRIT Awards 2025 at The O2 Arena on March 01, 2025 in London, England. (Photo by) Sabrina Carpenter is currently in Europe performing the second leg of her Short n' Sweet Tour. She first played to crowds in the United Kingdom back in March, and now she's returned for several more performances in London. Her return to the capital is partially to thank for her huge surge on the charts across the U.K. Many of Carpenter's songs are benefitting from all the attention, as is the album she released just before becoming a global powerhouse. Emails I Can't Send, which dropped in the summer of 2022, is currently living on four charts in the U.K. this frame – an impressive resurgence for a title that wasn't present on any of them last week. Emails I Can't Send Returns to the U.K. Charts Emails I Can't Send reappears at No. 70 on both the Official Albums chart and the Official Physical Albums tally. It also lands at No. 73 on the Official Albums Streaming list and No. 78 on the Official Albums Sales ranking. A Year on the Charts Emails I Can't Send has now spent over a year on both the main list of the biggest albums in the U.K. and the ranking of the most-streamed collections. The project has not yet reached that milestone on either of the sales-based tallies, but with a few more weeks on those lists, it certainly could. Throughout all that time, Emails I Can't Send has never climbed higher than No. 25 on any of those rosters. It reached that high mark on the list of the bestselling albums available in a physical format. The project only recently broke into the top 40 for the first time on the most competitive and all-encompassing albums roster, where it stalled at No. 40. Short N' Sweet Lives Inside the Top 10 As Emails I Can't Send breaks back onto several charts, Short n' Sweet holds inside the top 10 on five of the Official tallies in the U.K. At the moment, the Grammy-winning effort ranks as the third-most-consumed project in the nation, trailing behind two classic albums from Oasis that shoot north thanks to that band's just-launched reunion tour. Carpenter's beloved project reappears on multiple lists across the pond, climbing on several while dipping slightly on the Official Albums Streaming chart.

Oasis Charts The Top Two Albums As The Band Reunites
Oasis dominates the U.K. Albums chart with Time Flies… 1994–2009 at No. 1 and (What's the Story) ... More Morning Glory? at No. 2 as the band's reunion tour kicks off. Fans of British rock band Oasis take a selfie as they arrive at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on July 4, 2025, to attend the opening concert of their highly anticipated reunion tour nearly 16 years after last performing together. Two consecutive nights of concerts at the Principality Stadium in the Welsh capital mark the start of a 41-date run of gigs spanning the world. (Photo by Oli SCARFF / AFP) (Photo by OLI SCARFF/AFP via Getty Images) The Oasis Live 25 Tour is easily the most highly-anticipated concert venture of the year, as it may be the last time that the members of the beloved British band reunite and perform together. The rock superstars kicked off the trek in Cardiff, Wales, on July 4, and the musicians are spending July and the first half of August performing massive shows in England and Scotland. Oasis was always going to have an incredible few weeks on the U.K. music charts around the beginning of the tour, but the group's performance has turned out to be even more impressive than some might have imagined. Oasis Claims the Two Biggest Albums in the U.K. It's incredibly rare for any one musical act to fill the highest two spaces on the roster of the most-consumed albums in the nation, but that's exactly what Oasis manages this week. The fact that the rockers can do so with projects that have already been out in the world for years and have moved millions is an incredible feat. Time Flies... 1994–2009 shoots from No. 6 to No. 1 on the Official Albums chart this week. It's followed closely by (What's the Story) Morning Glory?, which bolts from No. 14 to the runner-up spot. Three Oasis Albums Hit the Top Five Definitely Maybe rockets from No. 26 to No. 4, meaning the group almost claimed the three biggest albums in the U.K. this week. Short n' Sweet by Sabrina Carpenter blocks the rockers from doing so, as it keeps at No. 3. Time Flies Reigns Again Time Flies... 1994–2009 has now spent just two weeks at No. 1 on the Official Albums chart. The compilation, which gathers together many of the most famous Oasis tunes, launched in first place in June 2010. It has taken until now for the project to return to the summit, though it has come close to doing so on more than one occasion. 600 Weeks on the Chart Time Flies... 1994–2009 and (What's the Story) Morning Glory? are counted among the eight Oasis albums that have hit No. 1 on the main ranking in the U.K. Both of those projects have spent more than 600 weeks on the roster, while Definitely Maybe passed that milestone just days ago.

Michael Jackson Returns To His Career Peak
Michael Jackson's The Essential compilation climbs to No. 7 on the Official Albums Streaming chart, ... More returning the late singer to his career high point. AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND - NOVEMBER 10: Michael Jackson performs on stage during is "HIStory" world tour concert at Ericsson Stadium November 10, 1996 in Auckland, New Zealand. (Photo by) Michael Jackson spent much of his career as one of the bestselling musical artists of his era. He achieved feats that no other act before him had managed, both in terms of albums and singles. These days, most people access the music they love via platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, and others, and while some legacy acts have gotten lost in the shuffle when it comes to streaming platforms, Jackson has not. His discography is flush with so many beloved tunes that listeners continue to stream them heavily. The Essential Michael Jackson Returns to the Top 10 The Essential Michael Jackson, a compilation of some of the superstar's biggest hits, climbs this week on the Official Albums Streaming chart in the United Kingdom. The project lifts from No. 12 to No. 7, returning not only to the top 10, but reaching its loftiest placement ever. Michael Jackson Soars Back to His Career Peak No. 7 isn't just a high point for The Essential — it's the all-time peak for Jackson on the ranking as well. The compilation remains his only release to break into the top 10 on the streaming-only tally, and it has never climbed higher than seventh place. Despite the fact that The Essential came out in 2005, it didn't hit No. 7 until November 2023. Since then, the set has come close to matching that position several times, but it never quite made it until this frame. Michael Jackson Climbs on Every Chart As streams of The Essential grow, the title rises on the only other roster on which it can currently be found in the U.K., the Official Albums chart. The singles collection pushes from No. 21 to No. 16 this frame. The compilation has previously ruled that list and still ranks among Jackson's No. 1s on the main albums tally.

Lady Gaga's Unstoppable Debut Album
Lady Gaga's The Fame hits 350 weeks on the U.K. Albums chart, extending its record as her ... More longest-charting project, even outpacing new release Mayhem. SNL50: THE RED CARPET — Pictured: Lady Gaga on Sunday, February 16, 2025 — (Photo by NBC/Noam Galai/NBC via Getty Images) Lady Gaga's debut full-length The Fame is far from the average pop album. It reintroduced electronic dance music to the mainstream over a decade ago and changed the sound of top 40 for years. Since its arrival, Gaga has released many hit singles and iconic albums, but none have come close to rivaling The Fame in terms of longevity. The singer's first project is still present on the United Kingdom's charts to this day, and it continues to extend its lead as Gaga's longest-running title ever. The Fame Reaches 350 Weeks on the Albums Chart The Fame has now spent 350 weeks on the Official Albums chart, which tracks the most-consumed releases in the U.K. The title has stood as Gaga's clear winner in terms of long-term performance in the country for years. In fact, none of her other full-lengths or EPs have even managed to spend 100 weeks on the tally. Her second-longest-running release, Born This Way, held on the competitive ranking for just 60 frames. The Fame Continues to Outpace Lady Gaga's New Album Right now, The Fame is present on both the Official Albums and Official Albums Streaming charts. Though it is declining on both, the project now outperforms Gaga's much newer release. The singer dropped Mayhem earlier in 2025, and while it was another major win, it's unlikely to stick around in the same way that The Fame has. This week, Mayhem slides from No. 49 to No. 69 on the Official Albums chart, landing just three spots below The Fame, which was released 17 years earlier. The gap between the two full-lengths is even wider on the Official Albums Streaming chart, where The Fame dips to No. 52 while Mayhem slides to No. 83. Mayhem is still present on both the Official Albums Sales and Official Physical Albums charts, though — rankings where The Fame no longer appears. In that respect, Gaga's newer studio effort holds its own. Two Mayhem Singles Are Still Charting Two singles from Mayhem continue to appear on at least one U.K. ranking. "Die With a Smile," her collaboration with Bruno Mars, is present on four tallies after 44 weeks on each of them. Meanwhile, "Abracadabra" is on its way out, falling more than 30 spots to No. 98 on the Official Singles Downloads chart. None of the tracks from The Fame are present in the U.K. at the moment. One other Gaga cut, "Always Remember Us This Way" from the A Star Is Born soundtrack, is still performing well enough to appear on multiple lists.

Van Morrison Charts A New No. 1, Almost 60 Years Into His Career
Van Morrison debuts Remembering Now at No. 1 on the U.K.'s Official Americana chart and earns four ... More additional top 10 placements across other rankings. MARLOW, ENGLAND - MAY 16: Van Morrison performs at Pub In The Park 2024 at Higginson Park on May 16, 2024 in Marlow, England. (Photo by) It's been almost 60 years since Van Morrison kicked off his recording career, and he remains a beloved figure to this day in certain countries, including the United Kingdom. The rocker has never slowed down throughout his more than half-century-long journey. He still typically releases an album a year, and he's back with Remembering Now, which is a quick win across a number of rankings in the region where he got his start. Remembering Now Debuts at No. 1 Remembering Now brings Morrison back to the top spot on one of the half-dozen tallies on which it debuts. The project enters the Official Americana chart at No. 1, earning him his fourth career leader. Morrison only arrived on the Official Americana list for the first time in 2016, when Keep Me Singing gave him his first chart-topper on his first try. That set spent 14 weeks ruling — more than all his other champions combined. He's also led the tally with Roll with the Punches and Three Chords and the Truth. It's been a little over half a decade since Morrison last secured a new No. 1, but in the interim, he's collected several additional top 10s. Van Morrison Scores Several Top 10 Debuts As it leads the Official Americana chart, Remembering Now also starts its time on four other rankings inside the top 10. The project only misses that coveted region on the Official Albums roster — the main list for full-lengths in the U.K. — by one spot. It debuts just below the No. 10 mark, opening at No. 11, which still brings the singer to an impressive position he hasn't seen in some time. Remembering Now is Another Big Win for Van Morrison While Remembering Now may earn its lowest entry point on the Official Albums chart, Morrison has now amassed 54 placements on that tally throughout his storied career. He's only earned seven wins on the Official Americana roster, which is much newer, and yet that's where he leads again this week.
