Here's your first look at ONE PIECE: INTO THE GRAND LINE. Season 2 coming 2026. Season 3 production setting sail soon."Production for Season 2 is scheduled to begin later this year in Cape Town, South Africa, which served as the filming location for the first season as well. The new season promises to cover major arcs from the source material, including stops at Loguetown, Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, and Drum Island. These locations mark a major shift in tone and scale as the Straw Hats move closer to their ultimate goal, finding the legendary treasure known as the One this, the makers also introduced some of the key characters from the original manga. Sons of Anarchy star Katey Sagal will portray Dr. Kureha, the quirky but brilliant doctor from Drum Island. David Dastmalchian steps in as the eccentric Mr. 3, while Sendhil Ramamurthy has been cast as the noble Nefertari Cobra. Perhaps most excitingly, Joe Manganiello will appear as the villainous Mr. 0, also known as core cast returns with Iñaki Godoy reprising his role as Luffy, joined once again by Mackenyu as Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji. Their performances in Season 1 were widely praised for bringing the essence of their animated counterparts, a feat attributed in large part to the guidance of Eiichiro Oda, who remains closely involved in the addition to Season 2's development, Netflix has already greenlit a third season. The announcement came during the annual One Piece Day celebration in Tokyo, confirming the platform's long-term commitment to the franchise. Ian Stokes, who served as co-executive producer on Season 1, will step into a new role as co-showrunner for Season 3, working alongside returning showrunner Joe Tracz.

The news came out of the annual One Piece Day celebration on Tokyo, where it was also revealed that Ian Stokes would be joining Joe Tracz as co-showrunner on Season 3.
