Kal Banx To Make Solo Debut Later This Month With 'Rhoda'

With that being said, it's hard to believe that Banx is just now gearing up to unveil his first-ever longform endeavor, just today announcing he'll be dropping his solo debutRhoda,on Friday, August 15.
Including Rashad and Smi among other seasoned collaborators,Rhoda– which takes a two-disc format – is confirmed to come with a star-studded selection of featured artists includingSiR,Maxo Kream,Buddy,Mez,Baby Tate,Pink Siifu,Childish Major, and more.
'Grief puts certain things into perspective that you don't even realize you have until they're gone,'Banxshared of the album, which is a homage to his recent journey of rediscovery, touching on themes of 'self, of origin, and of what 'home' truly means' to him after recently losing his mother.
'That led me to realize that home wasn't just a place; it was made up of all these different feelings and experiences,' Banx closed out.
Additionally, it's not just lyrical contributors that hop onRhoda,as Banx also enlistsThelonious Martinto Mez handle additional production throughout the LP.
