Kal Banx To Make Solo Debut Later This Month With 'Rhoda'

With that being said, it's hard to believe that Banx is just now gearing up to unveil his first-ever longform endeavor, just today announcing he'll be dropping his solo debutRhoda,on Friday, August 15.
Including Rashad and Smi among other seasoned collaborators,Rhoda– which takes a two-disc format – is confirmed to come with a star-studded selection of featured artists includingSiR,Maxo Kream,Buddy,Mez,Baby Tate,Pink Siifu,Childish Major, and more.
'Grief puts certain things into perspective that you don't even realize you have until they're gone,'Banxshared of the album, which is a homage to his recent journey of rediscovery, touching on themes of 'self, of origin, and of what 'home' truly means' to him after recently losing his mother.
'That led me to realize that home wasn't just a place; it was made up of all these different feelings and experiences,' Banx closed out.

If you follow Drake on Instagram, you'll know it's not unusual for him to post things that are a little random. However, his latest IG update has caused some confusion online. On Monday, the Canadian rapper posted a selfie of Gracie Abrams on his story, highlighting the darker patch of skin on her left arm, presumably a birthmark. He captioned the picture: 'I used to hate my birthmark but Gracie got the same one so now it's art,' before following up with an old photo showing a similar mark on his arm. Drake and the 25-year-old singer — who is currently dating Paul Mescal — aren't known to have a public friendship. However, this isn't the first time that Drizzy has posted about Gracie this year. In March, he took to his IG story to praise her song 'I Knew It, I Know You.' And though his sentiment was nice, people are still finding Drake's latest post pretty cringeworthy and odd, with people suggesting on X that this is 'a new low' for the notoriously corny rapper.
