Primark drops Milk Makeup ‘jelly tint' dupe that works on lips and faces… and it's £19 cheaper than the real deal

PRIMARK'S dupes have long been a source of fascination for many Brits. Being able to nab copy cats of cult-loved products without breaking the bank is the stuff of dreams amid the cost of living crisis. And the latest dupe added to the fast fashion giant's beauty arsenal is the PS... Lip And Cheek Jelly Tint. The inspiration for the new launch is Milk Makeup's £22 Cooling Water Jelly Tint. Primark 's rendition, which costs £3, is described as a 'lip and cheek jelly tint with a fruity scent'. It comes in two pink hues - one darker and one softer. The retailer's social media team took to Instagram to promote the fresh addition to its dupe line up. They penned: 'One tint... double the charm.' Beauty buffs were quick to gush over the jelly-textured tint, writing that they were 'running to their nearest Primark now'. One penned: 'This is a must.' Another beamed: 'We can always count on Primark for the dupes.' A third said: 'I absolutely, categorically need these.' Milk's product, which is designed for lips and cheeks, has won 11 awards thanks to its unique texture and lasting pay-off. Bosses at the beauty brand describe it as a 'non-comedogenic jelly blush and lip stain with a hydrating, bouncy texture that glides on for a sheer, buildable burst of color that lasts'. And while Primark's copycat is yet to win any awards, shoppers have already weighed in that the texture is 'amazing'. Shockingly, Milk had to put out a warning on the jelly tint's product page to prevent people from EATING it. It read: 'Cooling Water Jelly Tint is not edible. "It's for looks—not licks. Do not eat it.'
