PS Plus Extra and Premium August 2025 games announced as Marvel's Spider-Man arrives
PS Plus subscribers are in for a real treat as Sony is set to drop some fantastic titles as part of the PS Plus Extra and Premium August 2025 roster More PS Plus games are heading to Extra and Premium subscribers, with the latest service update providing players with Marvel's Spider-Man and Mortal Kombat 1. PS Plus is hitting back with another month packed with new titles, following a series of impressive offerings. Gamers have been treated to some fantastic titles in recent months, particularly with the PS Plus Extra and Premium July 2025 games giving subscribers the opportunity to play Cyberpunk 2077 on the same day it was released, a surprise that left us gobsmacked. It's been consistently good since then, with Lies of P and Day Z featuring in the PS Plus Essential August 2025 drop, offering players the chance to battle for survival on multiple fronts. Fans have been speculating about what could be next (especially given the varied release dates and genres of the biggest upcoming games), but the PS Plus Extra and Premium August 2025 predictions suggest we might see Final Fantasy 16 and Cocoon, making for an exciting month indeed. While these predictions may not have been entirely accurate, we've been fortunate to see some brilliant games this month now that they've all been unveiled. So, what's coming up? Here's everything you need to know about the PS Plus Extra and Premium August 2025 games line-up. PS Plus Extra and Premium August 2025 games As disclosed in a new PS Blog post, here's all the information you need about the PS Plus Extra and Premium August 2025 games. PS Plus Extra August 2025 games Here's the full rundown of what's coming to the Extra tier of the service on Tuesday, August 19: PS Plus Premium August 2025 games And here's a sneak peek at what Premium subscribers can look forward to adding to their collection soon: This month's roster update also features Death Stranding 2: On The Beach as a Game Trial for PS Plus Premium subscribers, so feel free to take the sprawling adventure for a five-hour spin. Without a doubt, this is a pretty massive deal, with Marvel's Spider-Man making a major appearance and blowing Mortal Kombat 1's headlining slot away, and with Sword of the Sea making an appearance too, there's no doubt that players are going to have plenty to keep them busy. It looks like PS Plus' winning streak isn't slowing down yet.
