Lancome's £30 mascara hailed as 'the best' by beauty fans is under £7 in deal stack

Beauty enthusiasts have hailed a high-end mascara as the 'best' they've ever used for achieving 'longer' lashes. Now, we've discovered a deal that slashes the price of this 'expensive' product to less than £7. Lancome's Hypnôse Custom-Wear Volume Mascara is a luxury choice for those seeking long, fluttering lashes. Typically priced at £30, the tube has been discounted in the Debenhams sale to £22.50, offering a saving of 25% on the RRP. However, there's a method to get it even cheaper. This comes as TopCashback is providing new members with a £15 sign-up bonus when they spend a minimum of £15. Consequently, with their cashback, the mascara works out at just £6.56 for new members to both TopCashback and Debenhams. For new members of TopCashback and existing customers of Debenhams, the price is slightly higher at £6.75 after cashback. The Lancome mascara features a unique applicator brush designed to 'glide' over lashes, leaving them feeling 'soft and supple'. It aims to separate lashes from root to tip, while ingredients like ProVitamin B5 work to condition the lashes, reports the Mirror. It promises to deliver a customised experience, with users able to apply a light layer for a natural daytime look, or build up layers for a more dramatic effect. According to the brand, the Lancome Hypnose product can be layered for up to eight times the volume. In other news, Benefit is another well-liked brand and their relatively new Bounce Mascara pledges longer, fuller lashes. Beauty fans can save 20% on it at Debenhams and purchase it for £21.60 instead of £27. It features a duo brush tip with fibre bristles to line and evenly coat lashes, while the fine-tooth comb separates and defines. Meanwhile, L'Oreal Paris's Paradise Big Deal Mascara, £12.99, features a cross-conic brush with hybrid length bristles and a smooth, lightweight formula that evenly volumises and separates lashes from root to tip. However, the Lancome mascara continues to be a firm favourite amongst users, achieving a 4.7 star rating based on 1,481 reviews on the Debenhams website alone. One customer praised it as 'the best mascara', adding: "Been using it for years now and I have tried so many different brands, premium and cheaper but I have always went back to this because it is definitely the best, doesn't clump or smudge." Here's how you can get the Lancome mascara for less than £7 with TopCashback:. Firstly, sign up as a new member at TopCashback for free via this link. Then, search for Debenhams on the site, click through and purchase the item as usual. You'll receive £15 cashback when you spend £15 or more. The cashback will appear on your TopCashback 'Earnings page' within seven days of your purchase. Some customers have been deterred from repurchasing due to the cost, but still appreciate the formula, noting: "This is my favourite mascara. The downside is the price. I don't know why it doesn't get talked about more. "It lasts well through the day, can be layered to have more volume without clumping, and great length. It does last a while without drying up in the tube too. I got the brown shade and it's a lovely everyday mascara. The wand is great and one that I can use without smearing mascara all over my eyelids when I'm rushing in the morning." One user commented that the mascara was too dark for them, stating: "Mascara works well, but the colour is still too dark. Lancome used to do a brown mascara, the shade was nutmeg I think and that was a better shade of brown for people with light lashes and fair skin." However, another shopper said: "I've used this mascara for years. It builds lashes beautifully and makes them look longer and more luxurious. It never clogs or flakes and it still looks great at the end of the day. It's perfect."

Kate Middleton-loved mascara that 'doesn't smudge' is £10 today only

One of Princess Kate's rumoured beauty buys, the Lancôme Hypnôse Drama Mascara is usually £30 for a full sized tube, but customers can try it out for a third of the price today (July 1) A mascara reportedly loved by Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, has seen its price slashed to £10 at Boots for one day only. The Lancôme New & Improved Hypnôse Drama Mascara is usually £30 for a full sized tube, but customers can try it out for a third of the price. It comes as the £17 travel-friendly version of the lash product is part of this week's £10 Tuesday sale. This week, the offer also includes top brands like Olay, No7 and Huda Beauty. According to Town and Country, Lancôme is Kate Middleton's go-to brand for fluttery lashes. It's reported she even used Hypnôse as part of her iconic bridal look, applying the mascara for her well-documented wedding day. The lengthening mascara works to separate eyelashes and adds fullness for high-impact results without clumping or smudging. Its SoftSculpt formula combines emollient waxes and an exclusive polymer system for ultimate definition, while the unique PowerFull Brush is said to deliver an even coat from base to tip. Elsewhere, Benefit is another popular brand and their relatively new Bounce Mascara promises longer, fuller lashes. Beauty fans can save 20% on it at Debenhams and buy it at £21.60 instead of £27. It has a duo brush tip with fiber bristles to line and evenly coat lashes while the fine-tooth comb separates and defines. Meanwhile, L'Oreal Paris's Paradise Big Deal Mascara, £12.99, has a cross-conic brush with hybrid length bristles and a smooth, lightweight formula that evenly volumises and separates lashes from root to tip. But at £10, the Lancôme mascara still comes in cheaper, making for a great opportunity to try a high-end mascara at drugstore-friendly pricing. It's size also means it's ideal for any upcoming holidays or trips away. And it's not just Kate that's a fan, with more than 2,000 five star reviews on the Boots website for the makeup bag staple. One said: 'The best. It is an amazing mascara. I have repurchased it 10 times.' Another loyal fan wrote: 'I have been using Lancôme Drama mascara for 24 years. I have tried several different mascaras. I always go back to Lancôme. It provides so much volume . and is buildable.' 'I am in my mid 60's and have been using Lancôme mascara since I was in my early 20's. That should tell you everything you need to know,' said a third. Mascara preference is incredibly personal, so naturally, not everyone has been sold. One said: 'As far as the mascara goes, I like it. It has good pigmentation and coverage. Not clumpy. Stays on for a long time. Gives lashes a full look. My issue is with the wand. I am not a fan. I find it hard to work with. I can't get into the small areas of my eyes, and it's hard to get the product on without making a mess.' Meanwhile, others believe its smudge-proof formula is superior, commenting: 'Still my favorite mascara and it does not smudge. I use the Lancome eye remover and it gets it off at night.'

The best make-up under £15, from lipstick to blusher

There's a common misconception that the more money you spend on a beauty product, the better it will be. But in my 12 years as a beauty editor, one of the most valuable things I've learnt is not to judge a book by its cover – a quality formula can, and often does, come wrapped up in cheaper packaging. Budget make-up is excellent nowadays – as I see on TikTok, where impressive routines made up of budget buys alone garner tens of hundreds and thousands of views. According to research by Mintel, 74 per cent of make-up wearers believe that affordable formulas work just as well as premium ones. We just don't really want to admit it because, despite this, 41 per cent still prefer to buy premium make-up. In my view, there are certain formulas one can save on, and others that deserve a little extra budget set aside to pay for them. So, here's how I concoct my own make-up bag, a high-low affair that doesn't break the bank. Mascara Budget mascara formulas are incredibly good – and whether you want lengthening, volumising or both, there's something for everyone. I have long loved Rimmel's mascaras, and the new Wonder Bond Lash Filler + Hyaluronic Mascara is incredible at delivering a fan of fluttery lashes, plus it's infused with hyaluronic acid and a biotin bonding complex to nourish each hair. Max Factor's new False Lash Effect Supreme Recharge Mascara is refillable (the refill costs £9.99) and promises to ramp up volume, and L'Oréal Paris's Paradise Big Deal Mascara boasts a clever brush, which makes it easy to get in between lashes for optimal definition. All are under £15. The best masacaras under £15 Brows From finely-tipped pencils that make it easy to draw on hairs (see Elf's Ultra Precise Brow) to grooming gels that create a feathery 'lamination' effect (L'Oréal Paris's Infallible Brow Lamination), it's easy to get a really decent brow routine on the high street. The best brow products under £15 Blusher While I tend to spend more on complexion products, blusher is one product that I think you can get away with saving on. Lots of affordable brands have launched cream-based formulations in recent years, and the good ones melt into skin and leave a really natural, dewy flush. Maybelline's Cheek Heat, H&M Beauty's Do-It-All Stick and Max Factor's Miracle Pure Infused Cream Blush are all under £10 and impart a dewy, hydrated finish to the cheeks. For those that prefer a powder consistency, Nyx's Buttermelt Blush swooshes on, no cakeiness in sight. The best blushers under £15 Lipstick You really can't go wrong with a budget lipstick – mass brands invest in good quality formulations that are loaded with skincare benefits to hydrate and treat the lips while in situ, with the knowledge that lipstick is a big seller. Some favourites include No7's Moisture Drench Lipstick ('Blush' is a lovely rosy nude), Maybelline's SuperStay Vinyl Ink Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick (will not budge) and Morphe's Good Talk Blotted Matte Lipstick for a punchy matte pout. The best lipsticks under £15 Eyeshadow Unless you are a cut crease devotee and the latest bumper palette really excites you, then investing in premium eyeshadows doesn't feel worth it. There are an array of 10-shadow palettes available for £10 and under – see Elf, Revolution and Revlon – and inside them you'll find some great wearable shades. I also love L'Oréal Paris's new Paradise Le Shadow Stick because it's quick and easy to use – simply scribble onto lids and blend in with fingers. The best eyeshadows under £15 The three formulas to invest in Foundation While you can get good foundations on the high street, your chances are a lot better when shopping from premium brands. Why? Well, they deliver a more imperceptible finish on the skin, thanks to clever skincare ingredients inside each formula. Dior does some of the best base products on the market – the new Dior Forever Hydra Nude Foundation costs £50 but you won't have to replace it often, plus it makes the skin look fresh and beautiful. Nars is also a go-to (try the Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation for medium-to-full but natural coverage) and so is Mac. Bronzer I have an affinity with good cream bronzers – and am yet to find a perfect one on the high street. The gel-meets-cream formulations that luxe brands, like Chanel and Charlotte Tilbury, do so well are worth the money you pay for them as they glide on, look seamless on the skin and are pretty much foolproof. Crucially, they're not glittery either. Eyeliner When it comes to eyeliner, there is more innovation in texture, pigment and longevity on the premium market. For example, you will simply not find a kohl pencil like Victoria Beckham Beauty's Satin Kajal Liner anywhere on the high street – both creamy and smudge-proof, it's a bestseller for a reason, even at £32. I also find that liquid liners with a fine tip and staying power are harder to find when shopping on a budget – I love Lisa Eldridge's Kitten Flick Liquid Eyeliner which, at £25, is worth every penny.
