Here's a production and cast announcement vid for the new run. Season 1 of the coming-of-age drama, set in the fictional South Korean city of Hyosan, saw a group of high school teenagers who struggle to navigate a zombie outbreak. Season 2 picks up after its conclusion. The second one follows Nam On-jo (Park), who is now a university student in Seoul, as she struggles to move on from the trauma. When a new wave of infection suddenly hits the city, she finds herself trapped in another deadly fight for surviva, finding new allies played by Lee, Kim and Yoon Ga-i, who play a group of hardened university seniors with their own methods of surviving. Roh, who appeared in Squid Game Seasons 2 and 3 joins as the mysterious Han Du-seok, a National Intelligence Service team leader. Original Hyosan outbreak survivors — Cheong-san (Yoon Chan-young), Nam-ra (Cho), and Su-hyeok (Lomon) — who have been attempting normal lives, also return. Netflix Finally Shares Huge Update For Long-Awaited Second Season of Hit K-Drama originally appeared on Parade. Over three years after the breakout hit Netflix K-drama All of Us Are Dead was renewed for a second season following an extremely successful first season, the streaming platform finally announced that the next season is officially in production. Netflix shared the big announcement with fans through a special new video showcasing the cast, returning and new, during a table read. Returning cast members include Park Ji-hu, Yoon Chan-young, Cho Yi-hyun, and Lomon, while Lee Min-jae, Kim Si-eun, Roh Jae-won and Yoon Ga-i are joining the show in exciting new roles. 🎬 All of Us Are Dead originally premiered on Netflix on Jan. 28, 2022, not long after the extremely successful K-drama Squid Game hit the platform. The zombie drama followed in Squid Game's footsteps, becoming a huge hit for the streamer. In Netflix's announcement about the start of production, a synopsis for the new season was also revealed that read, "After surviving the catastrophic zombie outbreak at Hyosan High, Nam On-jo (Park Ji-hu) is now a university student in Seoul, struggling to move on from the trauma and the friends she lost. But when a new wave of infection suddenly hits Seoul, she finds herself trapped in another deadly fight for survival — this time without the people she once depended on." The synopsis goes on, noting that the character becomes friends with some seniors at her university (played by three of the new cast members) who help her survive. Meanwhile, the other three returning characters are trying to move on in their own lives. There will be a time jump, as the new season reportedly takes place "years after the outbreak." "All of Us Are Dead" Season 2 is finally in production! Netflix made the announcement with a video showing old faces — and new — coming together for a table read. According to Variety, Season 2 will follow Nam On Jo (Park Ji Hu), now in university, as a new infection strikes Seoul. It will also explore the current reality of Season 1 survivors: Cheong San (Yoon Chan Young), Namra (Cho Yi Hyun), and Su Hyeok (Lomon). Joining the cast are "Squid Game" Season 2 star Kim Si Eun and "Weak Hero: Class 2" star Lee Min Jae. Also from "Squid Game," Roh Jae Won will play National Intelligence Service team leader Han Du Seok. "All Of Us Are Dead" became a worldwide hit shortly after its release in 2022, landing in Netflix's Top 10 list in 91 countries including the Philippines. Season 2 was announced later that year. Good news for All Of Us Are Dead fans! Finally the first update about season 2 of the popular series is out. On July 23, Netflix announced its production commencement and cast lineup. Some of the last season's actors are set to reprise their roles. After impressing fans with their memorable roles in dramas like Hyper Knife and Little Women, the actors are back for filming of the popular zombie apocalypse show. Besides them, some new faces will also be seen in the 2nd season. All Of Us Are Dead Season 2 cast confirmed Netflix announced the cast lineup of All Of Us Are Dead Season 2 through the release of the actors' script reading pics. It includes the survivors of the zombie outbreak in season 1, namely– members Park Ji Hu, Yoon Chan Young, Cho Yi Hyun and Park Lomon. Besides them, the new actors who joined them in the gripping drama's next instalment are Lee Min Jae, Kim Si Eun, Roh Jae Won and Yoon Ga Yi. The cast announcement was made in a unique manner. A man was seated in the center of a long table dressed as a zombie, and the first season actors came and sat beside him. Roh Jae Won, Squid Game Seasons 2 and 3's breakout star, takes on the role of Han Du Seok, the leader of the National Intelligence Service team. Yoon Ga Yi, previously seen in Undercover High School and Love Scout, portrays Jong A, a lively college student known for outspoken personality. All Of Us Are Dead Season 2: How will the plot advance? After barely escaping the zombie outbreak at Hyosan High, the survivors of season 1 will face another threat as a new wave of infection will hit Seoul. Director Lee Jae Gyu and writer Chun Sung Il are set to collaborate for the second season as well, bringing more intense action and emotional depth.
