Netflix Finally Shares Huge Update For Long-Awaited Second Season of Hit K-Drama
Over three years after the breakout hit Netflix K-drama All of Us Are Dead was renewed for a second season following an extremely successful first season, the streaming platform finally announced that the next season is officially in production.
Netflix shared the big announcement with fans through a special new video showcasing the cast, returning and new, during a table read. Returning cast members include Park Ji-hu, Yoon Chan-young, Cho Yi-hyun, and Lomon, while Lee Min-jae, Kim Si-eun, Roh Jae-won and Yoon Ga-i are joining the show in exciting new roles.

All of Us Are Dead originally premiered on Netflix on Jan. 28, 2022, not long after the extremely successful K-drama Squid Game hit the platform. The zombie drama followed in Squid Game's footsteps, becoming a huge hit for the streamer.
In Netflix's announcement about the start of production, a synopsis for the new season was also revealed that read, "After surviving the catastrophic zombie outbreak at Hyosan High, Nam On-jo (Park Ji-hu) is now a university student in Seoul, struggling to move on from the trauma and the friends she lost. But when a new wave of infection suddenly hits Seoul, she finds herself trapped in another deadly fight for survival — this time without the people she once depended on."
The synopsis goes on, noting that the character becomes friends with some seniors at her university (played by three of the new cast members) who help her survive. Meanwhile, the other three returning characters are trying to move on in their own lives. There will be a time jump, as the new season reportedly takes place "years after the outbreak."

Don't expect to blast your way through Ghost of Yotei: "Blades are the heart of the fantasy"

Ghost of Yotei introduces the greatest Samurai technique of all time – just shooting a guy – but the developers have warned that Atsu is no Texas Red, and that blades are still king. Ghost of Yotei takes place hundreds of years after the events of Ghost of Tsushima, and as a result, technology has advanced. During the recent Ghost of Yotei dedicated State of Play, footage revealed Atsu can start blasting, as she has access to firearms in the game. However, the developers have assured us that Yotei isn't about to become a shooting game, and good old fashioned sword swinging is still its name. GamesRadar+ features editor Andrew Brown spoke to Ghost of Yotei's creative directors Nate Fox and Jason Connell and asked specifically about the place of guns in the game. Fox dubbed firearms "not incredibly efficient" in line with how they were back in 1603. He elaborated, "Firearms have a role, and they are incredibly deadly when used at the right time," adding, "but it's not like Gun Kata, where the firearm is the melee weapon. Blades are the heart of the fantasy." However, Atsu isn't completely out of luck when it comes to fighting at range, as she has access to new melee weapons that help with that – namely a spear and a flail that can dispatch enemies in no time. And of course, she'll still have access to bows, which are probably the ideal ranged weapon anyway if you're going to take a stealthy approach – and you won't have to deal with Jin's annoying uncle berating you for it either! Although, in my eyes, nothing beats strolling into a camp and announcing to the whole population that you're here for a scrap. Ghost of Yotei "isn't going to rush you through anything" and "focuses on player freedom more than any game Sucker Punch has ever made," with clues and activities for all play styles.

Ghost of Yotei co-director Nate Fox has confirmed that you'll be able to play the game in its entirety without switching to a second weapon if you'd like. Ghost of Yotei is taking place hundreds of years after Ghost of Tsushima, and due to this, Atsu has way more gear in her arsenal than Jin ever did. Not only does she have access to guns (which the developers have assured are not going to be overpowered), but she can also equip way more bladed weapons than the original game's own protagonist could. These include dual-wielded swords, a spear, and a flail – but if you want to continue Jin's legacy of just using a sword, the game won't punish you. Speaking to IGN, Ghost of Yotei co-director Nate Fox says, "the game definitely would like players best to learn to switch weapons when it is appropriate, cause it's the most efficient way to play." However, he concedes, "let's face it, people sometimes want to play in the way that makes them feel the coolest. And the game will not hurt you if you do that." Fox assures fans "if you want to play with just two swords in each hand because it looks cool, you can play through the whole game that way" – although he presumably means a sword in each hand, as I'm not sure Atsu is able to hold four swords at once (but she should be, because that'd be sick). This approach seems to be par for the course for the upcoming sequel, as the developers have said that Ghost of Yotei "focuses on player freedom more than any game Sucker Punch has ever made." ‘Top Boy' Actor Michael Ward Accused Of Rape And Sexual Assault In UK
Source: SAMEER AL-DOUMY / Getty Michael Ward, the British actor known for his role in Netflix 's popular series Top Boy has been charged with rape and sexual assault connected to alleged events that took place in 2023. The 27-year-old Jamaican-born performer is slated to appear before the Thames Magistrates' Court on Thursday, Aug. 28 to answer to the charges, People reports. He is currently facing two counts of rape and three counts of sexual assault levied by an accuser who remains unnamed by UK police. 'Our specialist officers continue to support the woman who has come forward – we know investigations of this nature can have significant impact on those who make reports,' said Detective Superintendent Scott Ware, whose team is leading the investigation for Metropolitan Police. Ward has not been arrested in connection to the crime and will appear before the court under his own free will. The young actor has been making a name for himself over the last few years appearing in projects like The Book of Clarence, The Beautiful Game and The Old Guard. He also received rave reviews for his work in The A List prior to his breakout role as Jamie on the Drake-produced Top Boy . 'I deny the charges against me entirely. I have cooperated fully with the police throughout their investigation and will continue to cooperate,' Ward said in a statement amid the charges. 'I recognise that proceedings are now ongoing, and I have full faith that they will lead to my name being cleared. Given those proceedings, I am unable to comment further.' Though the allegations against Ward are serious, the deputy chief crown prosecutor for CPS London South, Catherine Baccas, has asked that the public allow the actor his right to a fair trial before rushing to judgment. 'Having carefully reviewed a file of evidence, the Crown Prosecution Service has authorised the Metropolitan police to charge Micheal Ward, 27, with two counts of rape, two counts of assault by penetration, and one count of sexual assault against a woman in January 2023,' said Baccas in a statement. 'We remind all concerned that proceedings against the suspect are active and he has a right to a fair trial. It is vital that there should be no reporting, commentary or sharing of information online which could in any way prejudice these proceedings.'
