Public parking in Dubai is organised and managed by Parkin, which took over responsibility from the RTA in 2024. Looking after public and private spaces around the city, Parkin has since implemented a new tariff system for parking, which divides into four zones named A, B, C and (you guessed it), D. Coming into practice in April 2025, there is also a new peak time hours fee for specific spaces that are located near transport hubs, business districts and shopping areas. With the new tariffs, these premium parking spaces have risen to Dhs6 per hour. In contrast, regular parking spaces across the city have remained priced at Dhs4 per hour. New parking fees in 4 Dubai neighbourhoods including Al Karama

Dubai's biggest public parking operator has announced new fees in four of the emirate's biggest neighbourhoods. Parkin during peak and off-peak hours has now changed in Al Qusais, Al Karama, Madinat Dubai Al Melaheyah and Al Kiraf. Two separate tariffs have been introduced, with one named Tariff W and the other named Tariff WP. Parkin has identified premium parking zones based on three factors: proximity to metro stations (within 500 meters), high occupancy during peak times and dense commercial areas. The pricing adjustments also include a new congestion pricing policy for major events at Dubai World Trade Centre. From February 2025, public parking near high-traffic event zones, such as the Dubai World Trade Centre, mean a charge of Dh25 per hour to manage the surge in demand during exhibitions, festivals and conferences.
