Up next, the actress will be seen in G2 with Adivi Sesh and Emraan Hashmi. The film is scheduled to release on May 1, 2026. Actor Ayushmann Khurrana has reportedly replaced Kartik Aaryan in 'Pati Patni Aur Woh 2'. The reports further claimed that Sara Ali Khan and Wamiqa Gabbi are also likely to star alongside Khurrana in the film's sequel.A report by Peeping Moon said that the makers aim to inject "fresh romantic pairings with proven comic timing" into the film and find the dynamic between Ayushmann, Wamiqa, and Sara perfect to take on roles originally portrayed by actors Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, and Ananya also said that the new instalment promises an original story, told largely from a woman's perspective, while maintaining the essence of the original. Another report by Pinkvillla had earlier stated that Sara and Ayushmann were confirmed to join the cast of 'Pati Patni Aur Woh 2'. Sara and Ayushmann are a fresh combo in the comic space, and the actor (Sara) fits the character's brief.
