Iceland customers excited as they spot ice cream inspired by UK's favourite biscuits

While the weather is warm many of are enjoying ice lollies and tubs of ice cream to keep us cool or as a treat - and fans are buzzing as a range of new ice cream flavours inspired by our favourite biscuits have launched If there is one thing us Brits love it is a good cup of tea and our favourite packet of biscuits. But fans are buzzing about a different way they can now enjoy they favourite flavoured dunkers; Iceland has launched two new ice cream flavours. ‌ Iceland and The Food Warehouse has partnered up with McVities to launched Milk Chocolate Digestives ice cream, as well as Hobnobs The Oaty One ice cream. They both are priced at £4 per tub. The Digestives ice cream features chocolate sauce, milk chocolate coated digestives biscuit pieces and milk chocolate shavings. If you are looking for the tub it has brown and cream-coloured packaging, as well as a deep blue lid. ‌ Meanwhile the Hobnobs ice cream features oat biscuit flavour ice cream with oat biscuit pieces, golden syrup sauce and shortcake biscuit pieces. This tub is bright orange in colour with a blue lid. You will find it in the freezer section of the supermarket, alongside the other tubs of ice cream and ice lollies. ‌ Shoppers have already been rushing to their nearest Iceland to grab a tub for themselves after they launched on Monday [August 11]. Paul Dhaliwal, Chief Commercial Officer at Iceland Foods said: "Surely the only thing better than biscuits and ice cream is a combination of the two and we're delighted to work with McVitie's to launch such a fantastic range. "We're committed to refining and innovating our products and we can't wait for our customers to try these products. Make sure to get to your local stores to avoid missing out." ‌ A post shared by New Foods UK's Facebook and Instagram pages showed off the sweet treats. The post reads: "Two new McVitie's ice cream tubs spotted at @icelandfoods." One individual who is excited about the new products said: "Ooh! the chocolate digestive biscuit one! Let's hope the biscuit pieces are still crunchy!" "Need the Digestive one," added another. "Digestive one would bang," commented another. One other said: "£4 each in Iceland and well recommend bought my partner 2 of them he loved them oh and with some mars dessert sauce." ‌ Another wrote: "I had the one on the Right now next time I go Iceland It be the one on the left (and the right one was on This Morning)." However, shoppers should be aware that you may not be able to find the new delights in every Iceland store. You can also check The Food Warehouse stores. ‌ One individual commented: "Someone came into the Iceland I work at today looking for this unfortunately it's not in every Iceland and probably more of a food Wearhouse thing not Iceland." "Literally looked at two different Icelands and still can't find these," added another. Also launching later this month, from August 26, is the McVitie's Gold Digestives Ice Cream Bar. This treat is an indulgent vanilla flavoured ice cream, layered with caramel sauce, coated in golden caramel and sprinkled with crunchy biscuit pieces. Another treat also dropping on the same date is the McVitie's Jaffa Cakes Triple Dipped Sticks. These are zesty, orange flavoured ice cream, coated in a rich chocolate flavour shell with a swirl of tangy orange sauce and a smooth milk chocolate flavour finish.
