Arie Luyendyk Jr and his wife Lauren Burnham have opened up their kitchen. The lovebirds had a cozy baking session with one of their daughters, Alessi, over the weekend. The 43-year-old Bachelor star and his 33-year-old wife shared with that they were whipping up Pearl Milling Company and Nutella's Apple Pecan Pancakes. It was a practice run before their Father's Day celebrations where the entire family will indulge in the sweet breakfast. Arie and Lauren already have three children together - daughters Alessi, five; Senna, three; and her twin brother Lux - and are expecting a fourth. The stars also shared that they will be welcoming their fourth child, a baby girl, in September. Luyendyk Jr, who was the Bachelor in Season 22, got married to Lauren on January 12, 2019. Their wedding took place at the Haiku Mill in Maui, Hawaii. Arie and Lauren both revealed that they thought it would be a boy. 'I think it's a boy,' Lauren admitted in a YouTube video showing the sex reveal in more detail. 'And I thought it was a boy the entire time. 'If my instincts are wrong, I'm going to be so shocked,' she added. Arie noted that he was 'wearing blue' because he also expected a boy. 'This pregnancy feels different,' he said. In their sex reveal video, they both held opaque black balloons containing colored confetti, with leaves and flowers decorating the strings. But as soon as they pricked the balloons, they exploded in a shower of pink confetti that rained down on their three children, revealing that they were expecting a girl. Arie squinted with an ear-to-ear smile and doubled over laughing at the unexpected result, but everyone in the family was clearly overjoyed. 'You're gonna have a sister!' he shouted at the children, and own of the onlookers filming screamed, 'No way!' The announcement was only possible because Arie made the choice to get his vasectomy reversed earlier this year, though the procedure is not as irreversible as it is often touted as being. In April of 2024, the auto racer admitted that he felt he had 'rushed' into getting the vasectomy and subsequently regretted it. In March, Lauren revealed the couple faced a stumbling block when she experienced a chemic pregnancy prior to conceiving their fourth child. 'We tried and tried,' she emphasized in a YouTube vlog at the time. 'And we were unsuccessful for a little bit and then we had a chemical pregnancy. I've never had a chemical pregnancy before, so I thought that was it. Like we were actually pregnant.' Lauren also bragged that she ' surprised' her husband 'for the first time ever' when she revealed she was pregnant. 'His one request for our last pregnancy was that I surprise him in a cute way because I always just tell him immediately because I can't keep secrets,' she admitted. Contrary to what the name would suggest, a chemical pregnancy occurs when an embryo forms and implants within the uterus lining, but then stops developing within the first five weeks, according to the Cleveland Clinic. The pregnancy is detectable via hormonal tests — hence the name — but after the embryo ceases developing the hormone levels will return to normal.

Recall On Pearl Milling Company Pancake Mix Just Upgraded To ‘Deadly' Risk
Before you plan on pancakes for Saturday brunch, you may want to check the label on any boxes of dry mix in your pantry. When the Quaker Oats Company first announced a voluntary recall of Pearl Milling Company Original Pancake & Waffle Mix in January 2025, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration deemed it 'pending classification," per their protocols. On February 13, the government agency upgraded the recall to a Class I—the highest risk level—to determine that the pancake and waffle mix posed a 'reasonable probability' of 'serious adverse health consequences or death.' The recall of this popular dry mix, formerly known as the brand Aunt Jemima, affected 10,000 two-pound boxes that may have contained milk, though not advertised on the packaging. The products were distributed to Arkansas, Kentucky, and Mississippi, as well as seven other states, with sales as early as November 18, 2024. Here's what to look for: A UPC code of 30000 65040 A best-by date of September 13, 2025 According to the FDA announcement, Quaker Oats—parent company of Pearl Milling Company—decided to recall the product after 'being alerted by a retail partner' of the issue. For those with a milk allergy or severe sensitivity, the undeclared ingredient could cause a life-threatening or deadly allergic reaction if consumed. So far, there have not been any reports of illness. If anyone in your household has a milk allergy, Quaker urges that you discard the recalled mix immediately. In addition, any consumers who have purchased the product can contact Quaker Consumer Relations at 1-800-407-2247. This is the only Pearl Milling Company product affected. The FDA updated the classification of a recent recall of pancake and waffle mix affecting 11 states. The initial recall notice identifies a limited number of 2-pound boxes of 32-ounce Pearl Milling Company Original Pancake & Waffle Mix as possibly containing 'undeclared milk after being alerted by a retail partner.' The product sports a 'best by date' of September 13, 2025 and UPC number 30000 65040. Now, according to a February 13 press release, the recall is being defined as 'a situation in which there is a reasonable probability that the use of or exposure to a violative product will cause serious adverse health consequences or death.' Per the FDA, anyone with an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk is more likely to experience a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the recalled product. Boxes of 32-ounce Pearl Milling Company Original Pancake & Waffle Mix were sold as early as November 18, 2024 and distributed to a number of retailers amongst the following states: Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, Utah and Wisconsin. Currently, no allergic reactions have been reported in relation to this matter, and no other Pearl Milling company products are being recalled as a result of it. A previously recalled pancake and waffle mix product from Quaker Oats' popular Pearl Milling Company brand has now been classified at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's highest risk level due to potential allergen exposure. In an enforcement report for the week of Feb. 19, the agency categorized the Pearl Milling Company Original Pancake & Waffle Mix as a Class I recall due to an undeclared milk allergen concern. The FDA classifies recalled products as Class I when there's 'a situation in which there is a reasonable probability that the use of or exposure to a violative product will cause serious adverse health consequences or death,' its website states. The agency routinely updates entries in its enforcement reports with a classification once it completes a hazard assessment. It categorizes recalled products as either Class I, Class II, Class III or 'not yet classified.' The Quaker Oats Company announced in a press release last month that it had recalled some of its 2-pound boxes of Pearl Milling Company Original Pancake & Waffle Mix because the product may contain undeclared milk. The company said that the mix, packaged in a cardboard box, had been available to purchase since Nov. 18, 2024. It was distributed to retailers in the following 11 states: Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, Utah and Wisconsin. The affected products had the Best Before Date (BBD) of Sep. 13, 2025, and the following UPC: 30000 65040. Quaker Oats said there had been no reports of allergic reactions at the time of the recall, but thatpeople with an allergy or sensitivity to milk should discard the product immediately and not consume it. Customers who have purchased the product can call the company's consumer relations line at 1-800-407-2247.
