The Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE gets the new Pearl Tech White colour scheme with blue-spoked rims Check Offers Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the 2025 V-Strom 800 DE adventure motorcycle with minor tweaks for the new model year. The 2025 Suzuki V-Strom 800DE is now OBD-2B compliant, in line with the latest emission standards, while there are new colours on offer, which give the model a more striking appearance. The price for the V-Strom 800 DE remains unchanged at ₹ 10.30 lakh (ex-showroom). 2025 Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE: New Colours The Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE is now available in the Pearl Tech White colour scheme with blue-spoked rims. The new colour gives the bike a cleaner look and appears nicer too. The Champion Yellow No.2 colour with black coloured body panels and blue rims, and Glass Sparkle Black with grey and red graphics, and black rims have been carried over. Commenting on the updated model, Deepak Mutreja, Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Suzuki Motorcycle India, said, 'With the Suzuki V-Strom 800DE now OBD-2B compliant and available in updated colours, we continue to provide adventure-seeking riders with an option that is ready for diverse riding conditions. These updates focus on offering more choice while staying aligned with evolving government norms and rider preferences." 2025 Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE: Specifications Powering the V-Strom 800 DE is the 776 cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine with a 270-degree crankshaft. The motor develops 83 bhp and 78 Nm of peak torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The bike promises impressive straight-line stability thanks to its long wheelbase, tall ground clearance, and a wide handlebar. Other mechanical features include the Showa USD front forks with 220 mm of travel and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear with 220 mm of travel. The ground clearance stands at 220 mm. The bike rides on 21-inch front and 17-inch rear aluminium, wire-spoke wheels wrapped in Dunlop Trailmax Mixtour adventure tyres. The Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE is equipped with a 20-litre fuel tank promising a longer range, along with a host of electronic aids comprising the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.), riding modes, traction control with a dedicated 'Gravel' mode, ride-by-wire, bi-directional quickshifter, switchable ABS, low-rpm assist, and the Suzuki Easy Start System. Suzuki Motorcycle India (SMIPL), a subsidiary of Japan's Suzuki Motor Corporation, has launched the updated 2025 V-Strom 800DE in India. Now compliant with OBD-2B emission norms, the adventure tourer receives fresh new colour options. At the heart of the V-Strom 800DE is a 776cc parallel-twin DOHC engine designed to deliver a smooth, tractable performance with a distinctive V-twin-like rumble, thanks to its 270-degree crankshaft. The engine offers linear power delivery across the rev range, making it suitable for both daily commuting and off-road bike features a rigid steel frame for highway stability and agile handling. Its tall ground clearance (220 mm)—the highest in the V-Strom family—long wheelbase, and wide handlebar offer enhanced control on rough terrains. The suspension setup includes Hitachi Astemo (Showa) 220mm long-travel inverted front forks and a hand-adjustable rear mono-shock, ensuring comfort and responsiveness on diverse surfaces. The mid-size ADV is priced at Rs. 10.30 lakh (ex-showroom) which is the same price as before. Apart from the new colour option and OBD-2B compliance, the motorcycle stays the same as before. The motorcycle continues to get a 776 cc parallel-twin engine which makes 81 bhp at 8,500 rpm and has a peak torque output of 78 Nm at 6,800 rpm. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quick-shifter. The motorcycle is suspended on fully adjustable Showa USD fork up front and a Showa monoshock at the rear. Both units get a travel of 220 mm. The ground clearance on the motorcycle is also 220 mm. As per ADV standards, the motorcycle gets a 21-inch wire-spoke wheel up front and a 17-inch unit at the rear. Both wheels are shod with Dunlop Trailmax Mixtour adventure tyres. The motorcycle also features a 20-litre fuel tank for extended range, and electronic rider aids including Suzuki intelligent ride system, three riding modes, traction control with gravel mode, ride-by-wire electronic throttle, two-mode ABS, low RPM assist and Suzuki easy start system.
