Police look for woman who allegedly cashed stolen check in Mansfield
MANSFIELD, Pa. (WETM) — Police are looking for a woman who they say cashed a check that had been stolen from Corning at a credit union in Mansfield last month.
The Pennslyvania State Police reported that an older female driving a gray Ford Edge cashed a check for $2,000 at the First Heritage on South Main Street at around 1:35 p.m. on Jan. 15. Police say the check was stolen from a 71-year-old Horseheads woman in Corning, and the investigation into the alleged fraud began on Feb. 6.
